These guys have moved us before and I couldn't imagine going with anyone else. Last move was a short haul from Lawndale, CA to Manhattan Beach, CA (3.6 miles). Moving sucks, thats a given! Ultimately, having a team of professionals saved us money, heartache and all the BS that comes with moving. These guys show up, bust their you know whats, and run circles around me, an energetic late thirty something. They came equipped with wrap, blankets, boxes, trucks and anything else you would want moving. I also loved knowing have insurance, for any "whoopsies", and a track record of years-and-years and hundreds of yelp reviews. Rob, the owner is a stand up dude, and he knows how to price it out accurately, and what he tells you is what you get. I tried to go with another company for our recent move from Manhattan Beach to Oceanside (92 miles), and came back to Rob, because of his professionalism, and the kick butt experience we had last time! I wish there was a 0 star option. Crew was friendly however broke my closet and dents all over my fridge. It was barely 50 miles from my house. I wish, I have done it by myself. The owner refused to reimbursed because he said it was an IKEA item. He may have a crystal ball; however, it doesn't matter the brand of the product--your responsibility to take the customer product safely from point A to B. Incredibly disappointed in this company. Two major problems. In short, what should have been a few hours move turned into several hours and a bill that was double what was expected. Most of the contents of the home had already been packed and moved prior to their arrival. More importantly, an entire truckload of furnishings, our clothes dryer, an enormous Persian rug, plants and several other belongings were left behind. Not an exaggeration. When I returned to the house, I was appalled. Had to borrow a friend's truck and make four trips to move by myself all that was left behind. On behalf of Whittier College, we hired Rob and his men to do a few large furniture projects for the Residence Halls. We had them move over 200 sets of furniture from a 2 story residence hall (wood block desks, dressers, chairs, and bed frames) from one area of the campus to another. These pieces of furniture are very heavy and took almost 1 week to complete. We donated the furniture to Non-profit organizations and had Rob and his men remove and discard the rest. Needless to say, these men worked extremely hard in the middle of the summer and we were satisfied and impressed with their hard work and work ethic. This company is amazing. I called Rob for a move with only a week's notice, and he was so willing to help out, and he and Angie were in constant communication with me through text and email. The day of the move, Rob expertly wrapped all my items in shrink wrap so that they would be safe in storage. He, Manny, and Dan were like a well-oiled machine moving things out of the apartment and loading them in the van, and they did a fabulous Tetris job of fitting the items into an all-too-small storage space; I honestly hadn't thought it would all fit, and they made it work. We just had a fabulous experience with Less Stress Moving today. We only needed 2 hours of help yet all the other movers we called had a 3 hour minimum and weren't available till next week. We were desperate and called yesterday after hours hoping they would answer and be available today. They picked up the phone even after they had closed! Then Myke worked hard to get us in, even if it meant a longer day than usual for him and his crew. This morning he called me at least 3 times, confirming our appointment and original time line, then following up ever few hours to let us know they were on schedule. Very professional. They arrived right when they said they would and were AMAZING! Myke, Joe, and Estebon worked fast but were so careful packing up every piece of furniture. They were sweet and even did a little extra for us, taking a piece of furniture back downstairs when it didn't work right upstairs. They were smiling and cheerful the entire time, even when they had to go up and down stairs about a million times. They really saved our backs and got it done in a 24 hour timeline. Robert and Eddie were my helpers! Aside from being late, they were great and understanding. My stuff ended up being a bit more and they were ok with giving me a new price and moving what needed to be done. They work hard and carefully and over all seem like great and helpful people. So, I couldn't help but think that he just got another job and decided to not do deliver for me. From then on it became a pronged process of me reaching out to him only to have him tell me tomorrow. We have some furniture that is very large and bulky. They were able to maneuver all of it thru tiny hallways without damaging a single thing. Some of the heavy stuff had to make it up the stairs and these guys did it without breaking a sweat. Every piece of furniture that was disassembled for moving was assembled like new. Robert was so professional and continued to stay in touch with me up until the move day and even throughout the pickup (they picked up from 2 locations that we purchased furniture on CL and delivered to our home). We had a last minute move when another apartment became available sooner than expected. I sent Less Stress a text at like 10pm on a Saturday night requesting moving help the very next day. I actually sent a text to several moving companies because I knew getting help would be difficult, Less Stress Moving is the only company that responded right away. I got a text back immediately from the owner. To my surprise he was able to get a moving crew of three guys to meet me at noon the next day. The three guys showed up ready to work right on time. I only had them for 2 hours and we had several heavy items to be moved to the new apartment, they worked very hard and got everything done in just a little over 2 hours! We weren't over charged like some moving companies do. The owner let me know exactly how much it would be if we went over 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour. There were no surprises. If you give this company an opportunity, I doubt you'll be disappointed! A friend of mine referred me having used them to move her entire household about 6 months ago. Even with a minor miscommunication before the move, they honored the price they originally quoted me. The day of the move they were on time and very courteous. I had 3 little girls amidst the chaos (unplanned of course) and our team of Cameron, Roman and Jason took it all in stride- these never complained or made rude comments, they very kindly worked around the kids and my visible frustration with having kids in the mix. The job took WAAAY longer than we expected- we had no idea we had so much stuff! But everything was cared for and wrapped, and again, they never complained! By the end of the day and the move, these guys felt like old friends. I truly want to invite them to dinner when we get all settled. These guys are absolutely incredible. I had another moving company cancel on me with only four hours to get out of my apartment before the lease ended on a Sunday night. I called Less Stress at 9:00 PM, and they had two movers to my house with a box truck by 10:20 PM. The movers had everything in my apartment loaded into their truck in about 15 minutes, promptly drove to the next location, and unloaded everything in another 15 minutes. I was literally stuck in the parking lot with no one to call and Target's policy is once you buy a floor model your'e on your own. Lesson learned.
