The guys at Less Stress Moving are by far the best movers. They are honest, work fast, careful, hard-working, well mannered and cordial. I live in a townhouse on the second floor with no elevators, they were able to bring the heavy sectional couch and table set without a scratch, thats a whole lots of stairs!! WORST EVER DELIVERY. Never, ever, ever use these guys if you are moving any distance, anyway. At the departure end in the SF Bay Area the crew knew what they were doing. Were efficient and professional. At the receiving end in Duluth MN they did not have a crew - just a surly driver and no crew. He got a local crew of whoever off of Craigslist locally. They were nice enough but not enough guys for the job at hand. Driver would not unload the way I requested so things could be moved to proper location as they were taken off the truck. Many boxes were seriously damaged and our metal front door ended up with dents in it because he just pushed through things his way in a hurry. Many items of furniture were not reassembled. We asked him not to touch the sofa with electronics in it because he did not know what he was doing. He did not have a box cutter - had to use ours. They were subcontracted by American Van Lines (who I also don't recommend) and did not provide services contracted for and charged an extraordinary amount of money for. Legal action is forthcoming. The one star is only for the service at the loading end. Otherwise, I would do 0 stars if that was an option. And this was on top of, as another reviewer noted, they were late by days and reimbursed only $30 per day for missing the window on the contract. I blame both these guys and American for all of it. The coordinator rarely called back and was impossible to reach when we had a problem. WORST EVER! Do not use! I'm sure I'll have more to say when we can sort through the mess. read more

I have to share this experience with everyone on here. I have a surfboard that I left behind in LA and moved to Atlanta. I have been wanting to have that board transported here to Atlanta from LA for a long time and I have been shopping on line for carrier that can do that. The board is at my sister in LA. I found "Less Stress Delivery" company on line and I just called them. Robert (the amazing Robert " answered and the story started there. All I needed them was to come pick up the board and carry it to Amtrak station in LA. Robert rescheduled other clients and made it his priority to go and pack up and take it to Union station. Not only he got there early and packed it very very nice. But also after he took it to Union station, they told him that they can't ship it. At that time Robert and his company did their work and had no other obligation to do anything else. But , Robert took the board back to his truck and made sure it's safe and rearranged his schedule to bring it back to my sister's home. He also went and bought boxes and brought the board back and started packing it an made it available in case I found another shipping carrier. The whole time Robert took pic, and been in contact with me to make sure I know what's happening at all times. He went ABOVE & BEYOND the duty and what was suppose to be the responsibility of his company. All I can say is " UNBELIEVABLE AND ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE ". Thank you Robert. Not a happy camper! I hired this company for an easy move and because of the great service I received the first day hired them again the next day. That was the biggest mistake I ever made! I am still continuing to find broken items as I keep unpacking. The second group of guys were very sweet and polite, however their lack of experience caused me to pay for an additional hour. All of which the main reason was for them to move my refrigerator however that was not done do to them not having proper equipment. Rob was my main point of contact and the most unprofessional individual I ever worked with. He does not answer phone calls and getting him to respond to a text is a joke unless you are fond of his inappropriate comments! Rob without my consent hired 2 Moverers he latter claims do don't work for him, without my permission.he passed them along as his workers only till the next day after calling him to express my experience did he mention that they didn't work for him. I explained that I wanted a refund for the additional hour I paid along with the broken items to be replaced. He refused only to insult me with Fee of 50 being offered in exchange for a good review on Yelp! Do not use this company! Please be aware Rob after my review threatened to call my boss and make up stories. I will have to message the cops please be aware he will lie! Very unprofessional. Not only did he break 3 doors on my entertainment system but when asked for the insurance information to make a claim he refused to give it to me. He then proceeded to cuss me out and unload all my stuff outside my apartment. If all that wasn't enough to give him a one star review he stole the doors to my entertainment system. Every call made to Rob to get the doors back have gone unanswered. I would not recommend Rob services to ANYONE!!! VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Robert and his crew were very dedicated to getting a difficult job done. They moved two very large and odd shaped solid marble pieces that together weighed about 1300-1400 lbs. They also moved another marble patio table that all pcs together weighed another 750 lbs. All reached there destination perfectly? And they set the patio table set back up. Although I'm writing this review quite some time after using Less Stress Moving and Delivery, I figure it's better late than never, right? Back in March of this year, I was in desperate need of a delivery service for a gorgeous marble and wrought-iron table I had purchased earlier that day. Not only was it a gigantic rectangular marble table that could seat 8 comfortably, but it was also all the way in Malibu, CA (while I live closer to the Pasadena area). After spending hours calling company after company trying to find a reasonable quote for a last-minute delivery of such a heavy item with a very long delivery distance (even longer with unfortunate timing and traffic), I was close to giving up. However, as a last ditch effort, I called Rob. Considering the more than challenging task at hand, I was very pleasantly surprised with his willingness to work with me on a reasonable price. Beyond that, the three gentlemen who helped deliver the table, Adam, Alex, and Chris were incredibly polite, professional, and respectful young men who I felt very comfortable working with. The reason I am writing this review so many months later, is because I was again, in desperate need of a last-minute delivery today and, without a doubt, these boys came to mind.
