I wasn't really looking to visit a Leslie's store, but since it was nearby I remembered that I had to ask about a problem with my heater. I immediately thought that the store clerk was going to sucker me into purchasing a new unit, and that's truly the reason why I'd been hesitating for quite some time to deal with the matter. So about two weeks ago, I finally decided to get it taken care of. Plus, it's about the right time to enjoy my pool...I was greeted by the store associate, I believe he's the manager of the establishment---I came to this deduction because of his knowledge in the industry. His name was Freddy...so I started to explain the problem with my heater, he asked if my heater was reading codes off the display panel. I said 'yes.' He was quickly able to explain the problem and what caused the problem with meticulous detail. By the time he finished, I felt like for the first time I really understood my equipment. And best of all, it turned out that I did not have to spend a dime to resolve the issue. I went home to tell my husband all about it.....to my surprise, apparently a tech from a pool company had just stopped by, but interestingly, the technician took close to an hour to "figure out the problem." Ironically, it only took Freddy 5 minutes to resolve the problem without even looking at the heater. Freddy did recommend to call the Leslie's service department. I do understand that my heater will need to be replaced soon, but the difference is that when the time comes, I wont hesitate to make the investment with Leslie's. After this rain, I plan to take my water sample to Freddy to help me out with my green pool. :) read more

Horrible service, horrible communications, couldnt get them to return a call to simply tell me how the tech determined my pump was broken. It was working when it was disconnected so just wanted to know if he tested it by some means to make that determination but was happy to charge me another 200 for another person to come out and take a look. read more

Poor service. Took a Polaris robotic cleaner in for repairs in mid December 2023. It's now end of January 2024 and we still haven't received our cleaner. They blame the dealer for not sending parts. of course it's under warranty so no one is in a hurry to do anything. read more

I've been purchasing Spa / Hot Tub supplies from them for several years. Recently, I noticed that there is no quantity discounts for buying larger amounts of items. Just be warned that buying a multi pack of an item or a larger size won't save you any cash. This kind of pricing is deceptive because most people will believe they are getting a better price. This is the most frustrating company to deal with in terms of service. They are not good at following up on parts and the related service, and never return calls. The national online dispatching company is also a poor way of doing business. We've finally stopped paying a fortune for pool cleaning services two months ago. Throughout our first year of pool ownership, we've learned little about maintenance. Severing ties from the pool cleaner meant freeing ourselves from a $125-$180 burden whether it was January or July. Last month, we walked into this Leslie's location for a little direction and a new pool brush. "You're going to save a lot of money." That was music to our ears. The young lady handed us an empty plastic bottle for a water sample, and told us to return with our pool dimensions. As her little obedient padawans, we returned the following week. She tested our water with swift ninja-like precision at the counter and entered all our data into her system. That day, we went home with a short bucket of chlorine hockey pucks. $69 was spent in February. We returned last week with another water sample. She told us our chlorine was slightly high since there was not much to treat due to low temperatures, and showed us a weekly test strip kit. $11 was spent this month. It is reassuring that she knows her products well when we asked questions about our Phantom cleaner, and maintenance questions were answered with ease. The level of expertise and service will keep us coming back. Saving a few Ben Franklins is the icing. read more

The customer service at this location is AWESOME. Pamela and staff are amazing. She went above and beyond to fix our Polaris Quattro - she dealt with it 3 times and worked with the warranty department to take care of it all. We have a Leslie's less than a mile from our house but I drive the little bit of extra distance to go to Pamela and crew. They bend over backwards to help you make sure your pool is in good shape! read more

After almost 6 months of telling our pool service company to stop coming by I am happy to report that Leslie's has done a ton of things in helping me maintain my pool. It's not just a store that trys to prey on the ignorance of pool owners, but instead actually empowers us. They provide a friendly service in testing our pool water every month for levels of different chemicals and then tells us just what to do. If it needs chlorine, acid, shock or whatever, they tell you after the test. AND, they don't try to sell you on products you don't need!! I have to be honest, I really thought they would try to pull some scare tactic in selling me over priced chemicals and other things, but to this day I have spent about $150 total in chemicals! And that will probably last me throughout this summer. This is almost 6 months after getting rid of our pool guy, and we were paying him $180 a month! So this certainly makes financial sense. The people there are very helpful and knowledgeable on what you need to do to ensure your pool stays clear and without stuff trying to overtake your pool. I am still new to taking care of my own pool and so far she's clear as can be and my water has always been within all required chemical levels. I make sure to check it once a week with some strips I got from Leslie's as a way to test the water between monthly inspections. the girl at Leslie's actually steered me away from the more expensive test strips and sold me the cheaper ones because "they're just as good as the more pricey ones." How cool is that? So yes, they are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you know what you're doing and understand what is going on in your little oasis. The only bad thing is that if you go in while it's busy, you may have to wait. Performing the tests they need to do on your water takes a few minutes, and if there is only one person there, you can imagine the log jam of customers. But that's a small price I'm willing to pay for their services and expert knowledge. Everything there is also reasonably priced. Aside from chemicals, they also sell a whole assortment of pool related things from underwater robot cleaners to noodles to float on. Another service they provide is any fix of a robotic cleaner, all you pay is the part costs. It's free labor and testing, again, how cool is that!?!? Very good place to get you going on your path to pool independence and getting rid of your pool service if that is what you're willing to do. This is not my closest Leslie's Pool store, but it is my favorite. Pamela M, Matthew and the rest of the crew have helped me with my new pool. They have fixed my Polaris, installed a new pool pump, serviced my filter, tested my water, and educated me on everything I need to learn to keep up with my pool. I can't express how much I appreciate Leslie's store manager, Luis Henry! This week was tough, a tornado hit our home, my daughter's car needed big repairs, and my polaris wheel came off! With my pool filled with leaves, I took my polaris to Leslie's to get the correct wheel so my husband could try to fix it. Luis not only found my parts for me, he put it on and carried it to my car! He is the best and I will definitely not only go back, I will tell all my friends to do so as well! read more

Regardless of the location, Leslie Pools is the worst when it comes to solving a problem. If you ask 10 different associates the same question, you will get 10 different answers. And the problem is always YOUR water! It's never their product or bad advice. If you have a question or problem with your pool, go online and get information and then buy the right product for the job, either from Leslie Pools or another supplier. But don't count on them for advice! read more

I am extremely disappointed by their service. We ordered a pool cover in April and they came out to do a measurement. They charged for the measurement, and then never came back. We called them in September, to which they replied they lost the measurements and would come out and do another one for free. This would not have been done if we had not called them and pointed out their mistake in the first place. THEN, after taking the second measurement - and enduring through all fall with leaves we should not have had to deal with as we first called in April - they again did not say anything and forgot AGAIN. We called back in January and they finally said they found the measurements and could make the cover but with no discount and no compensation for the lack of service. The covers are ridiculously over-priced and the customer service is absent. Avoid this place at all cost. If I could give it a zero star review, I would. Money down the drain. read more

I am a new pool owner and have been learning all about pool stuff. Well all I can say is that this was my second visit to this Bitters location and the first time was great but this second visit made my so grateful - Best customer service EVER across any industry! I have to commend Phil-one of the managers for being completely AWESOME! I went during my lunch break and Phil was managing the store by himself. He had a line of people with varying needs from water tests to pool lighting to pool vacuums and he managed to serve everyone while keeping a terrific attitude. I had a very unusual situation with some products I was returning and a new robot I was trying to buy... And Phil never made me feel like I was a bother even when people kept walking in. He multitasked and took care of the water tests for the other customers and looked up the pool lights someone else needed all while taking care of me. He's superman I think. AND THEN..... He even volunteered to assemble my robot candy for me and carried everything to my car. SOOOOOO AWESOME! The world needs more people like Phil. I live pretty far from this location but I will make this one my first choice. Great staff during both visits and stellar attention to customer needs.
