The PMs pool maintenance company quoted us $1000 to $1800 and probably 2 to 3 visits to fix it. My wife called around and got the best comfort level from Premier Pool Enterprises (not to be confused with Premier Pools and Spas in Alpharetta). Austin came out today, had the part with him, assessed for what would have cost $125 if we had not moved forward with the repair, and offered to fix the entire thing, new control board, igniter and labor for $700, including the assessment. He fixed it and took the time to stay around long enough to make sure it was working. In addition, he cycled it on an off multiple times and observed it. The office politely took my credit card for payment and offered to mail a receipt. Everyone involved was very polite and Austin was in a uniform. I was working in my basement office so I never saw whether they use lettered company vehicles. Overall, as a general manager of a service company myself, this was the type of service we strive to provided and an all too rare experience to have as a consumer. Given that the property manager maintains the rest of the pool except for the heater, we probably won't have a call to use them again, but I understand they also build pools, so maybe in our next home.

The last project that we did with them was to install wood flooring in our living room. Years before they had done the wood on our first floor, and we chose to carpet the living room. Bad move for untrained pets :-( When we called them, they remembered us (which is awesome since it had been so long since the first project) and sent a super nice estimator over to measure - THE NEXT DAY! The price came back, we agreed, and we had our wood in less than a week! Seriously people! That is SERVICE! This week we had them come out to measure our basement and bedroom areas for carpet. He showed me where it was and wanted to hurry back to the front with it in his hand without letting me even look at it. I stopped him saying I needed to compare the product to what I had to make sure it was the right one. There were multiple options and no differentiating description on the front. You also couldn't see it fully without opening it up so I was trying to make sure I had the right one. I did not want to come back or have to go somewhere to replace it. He kept rushing me and when I went to take the product to look at it, he held onto it until I had to pull it out of his hand. He literally pressed his fingers together gripping it. It was very clear he did not want me touching any of the product in the store. I guess he thought I was going to grab it, stuff it down my leggings, rush past him and out the store. It was $7. I had no purse and had my wallet and keys were in my hand so I have no idea where his imagination was going. After I looked at, I was decided to try it so turned to talk to the front check out and he grabbed it out of my hands to walk it to the front. I typically shop here because the Lowes is far but I'll take my business elsewhere. I wouldn't want to frighten the old white men with my presence. Fox News must have told him every POC wants what they have and will steal it right in front of them in broad daylight. In reality, I would rather not speak or deal with you either.

Five days and counting, no call back. -- Online, a week in advance, I scheduled and paid for an Advanced Wreck course. The day prior to the course I called to inquire if it was only going to be classroom of if we would be in the pool as well.
