I called the following day and again nobody answered so I left a message for them to call back and guess what. No return call. I called again and finally spoke with someone that informed me it would be $199.00 to come out to my home. Once they got here they would give me a quote. The $199 doesn't get deducted it's what they charge just to come to your home.I purchased my Hot Springs hot tub 20+ years ago and have never been charged for them to come out to my house. Something has changed at this place. They use to be a Hot Springs dealer only but appears no longer. If you purchase anything from them beware of these fees they started charging.

He did not activate the motor and filter,and did not remove more than four 50 pound bags of sand from the water (on and below the steps).One of his technicians told my husband that an adjustment had to be made to the filter and they would return within a few days. I called Mr Wilson and he told me, he would return to activate them in a few days, but even though the motor and filter weren't on, it was safe to swim in the water. We did not dare enter the water. Mr. Wilson never returned to correct the problems, and when I tried to contact him via telephone numerous times, he would not answer his phone nor return my calls. Finally in late August 2018 (when we had not used the pool), We contacted another company for help. The other pool company arrived, and we discovered the heater and filter were damaged and could not be used (that was why Mr. Wilson had not opened my pool). Specifically, Mr Wilson failed to drain the water out of the lines and during the winter months, water froze in the lines damaging my heater. Additionally, Mr. Wilson improperly closed my filter and the top had to be sawed off (in August 2018) to replace the sand. He still refuses to talk with me about the situation and has not reimbursed me for the cost of repairs (documented by receipts and photos). Please don't use Steve Wilson Pools!. G. and J.T. I had a leak in my hot tube, called for service to locate the leak. Charged $260 for the service call. Service man found heater leak and gave me an estimate of $465 to install new heater and it would have to be ordered. When I called to get it ordered, the price went up to over $1000 dollars. I bought the heater on line for $365 and installed it myself. What a ripoff, never do business with them again.

I called them the following week and they rescheduled saying it was a scheduling error. No worries, they do send some folks to fix my hot tub a couple days later. But, instead of replacing the broken part, they decided to try to caulk it instead. 10 minutes later, they're on their way. I followed their instructions and kept the hot tub off 2 days to allow time for the caulk to dry. However, after 2 days, the heater was leaking the same amount of water as before. It wasn't a bad leak and I totally understand why they tried caulk but at least give me a credit if the jerry-rig doesn't work. $135 / hour is a lot of money for effectively nothing. After noticing the leak wasn't fixed, I called back to get an estimate for the actual repair. It has been weeks and they have never gotten back to me and they have never offered a credit for their bad advice and workmanship. If you're willing to pay $135 for nothing, please feel free to give them a call.
