I paid full prices cause I thought a company that makes good profit is more likely to complete the project vs a discounter who scams. I was wrong. The saddest parts are I don't know if I will be able to finish the pool financially and that they are doing this to more customers than just me. I don't have the energy or stomach for lawsuits and fighting but unfortunately they don't leave me any choice. It was determined that it was probably the falls, so he and another guy came out, dug out the dirt behind the falls area and sealed everything really well. But after meeting Saul and seeing his design and quote, the choice was obvious - Cost Plus Pools, hands down!! He's a one-man show and I'm not sure how he does it. I can't explain it, but you know how you automatically feel comfortable with and trust certain people... That's how I felt with Saul. He understood my vision from the moment he walked into my back yard to give the estimate. After a very thorough presentation of the equipment options and basic knowledge and cost of maintaining a pool, off he went to design my pool. I got the initial design concept and quote that night. Of course I had to add my 2-cents and make some changes... But in the end it was his initial design that won me over and is now my favorite place to escape. Like any construction project, you're going to run into issues. And if it could go wrong, I think it went wrong on my project. I was beginning to think it was cursed Lol.
