I can also say other than one location at Boulevard Park I can walk in and order instantly at any of the other locations--either never a line or one person finishing up with their order. Not at other brands. Either baristas are not trained well to follow recipes or the recipes are junk. Well, even black coffee tastes bitter. Perhaps it's old. Three different types of drinks at dozens of locations and only 1 or 2 taste drinkable. Done. Not coming back to waste any more money.

The cappuccino was good, nothing special though. I also had their Almond Butter cake, which was good as well if not a little solid to eat. There was not much to talk about the interior ambiance of the café and there was not much space inside, unless you go to the back of the café. The staff was very courteous in serving me and has a good deal of knowledge about their business. My experience at the Duft & Co Bakehouse was pretty good, and I would like to give them another try. So this day I planned ahead. I got there ten minutes before opening which always makes me feel awkward but a line was already formed outside. Once they opened you go in and are greeted with a wide array of pastries and baked goods. I picked quite a few but will say that I'm biased as I went to pastry school and well this was the best croissant I've ever had. It was flaky on the outside and nice and buttery on the inside. You can tell that they worked hard on these and laminated them perfectly. The coffee was good too but the pastries stole the show and I will be back.

It's a nice and heavy sort of bread, reminds me a bit of soda bread. They have other products as well delivered twice weekly to Santa Barbaras and other markets around Vancouver, spelt bread being my favorite. I special order 2-3 loaves at a time, as their inevitably sold out if I leave it to chance, and freeze some to save myself the trek as I live by Main St., which goes to how much I like this bread because it's worth the trek!
