After working 6 days straight all 10 hour shifts I knew I needed a manicure or something to make myself feel better. I didn't make an appointment, I walked in and signed my name. TK took me in, he asked what I wanted and I told him I want Square, glitter, powder full set. He nodded and showed me the nail colors that the salon carried. I picked out the colors, true he doesn't socialize but I am okay with that. He made my nails perfect, he was very delicate with my hands and always asked me if the nail shape was to my liking. Perfect! I got his schedule so when I go to my fill I will make sure I get him again. read more

Terrible.. Omg all I can say is MESSY MESSY MESSY work! Walked away unhappy each time! Only reason I went here was because it was in the mall and it was convenient at the time for me. I would highly suggest not getting the guy name STEVE, just my luck had him twice! My gel nails are horrible! My daughter could of did a better paint job! Polish all over, not even at all! I paid $47 for only the gel polish for my hands and feet, NOT worth this messy job! Definitely NEVER going back! read more

I went there today to remove my gel manicure and to get a "regular" manicure. It is not my regular salon, but I went there out of convenience because I was at the mall. They were nice, but the nail tech used his fingernails to clean up the rogue polish around my nails. Ewwww. No q-tips? That was so disgusting. Why even bother to wear a face mask??? The end product was very messy, and the work done was unprofessional and unsanitary. Anyway the end result was chunky nail polish, even with 10 -15 min of drying under the fan. Probably should've just had the gel removal. I paid $41, I came home and removed the chunky polish myself. Lesson learned. By the way, the business has a sign via a ticker tape lighted banner stating that they "aren't responsible for the techs because they are independent contractors; if customers have any issues with the service, we should take it up directly with the tech. " So unfortunate that I saw this after he put on a 2nd coat of polish on a still wet first coat of polish. This policy of independent contractors is a smart way for this business to avoid customer complaints. read more

Don't waste your money on this place! Horrible all around!! Horrible service, horrible experience, horrible paint job!! Steer clear of Le's Nails!!! The price is good, but you definitely get what you pay for!! I went in with my mom since we missed our appointment at another place. We got taken in right away but that's about where the service stopped! Our hands were yanked and pulled, the service was unfriendly, and we both left with cuts on our fingers. My mom only had one cut, but when she complained to the lady the lady proceeded to tell her that it was her fault for having dry skin on her hands, and then sprayed alcohol on it causing it to burn! As for me, I have cuts on almost every finger all around my nails!! They are not small cuts either! They are painful and are showing signs of infection!! When changing out the little tool the use to sand at your nails I noticed that the man was storing them in a container with other things like paper clips, rubber bands, and coins!!! How unsanitary!!! Then when it came to painting a design on the paint we thick, crooked, and even globbed, and smeared! Instead of removing it he just added some thinner and attempted to smooth out the design smearing it more!! 3 days later and my fingers are still sore, red, and a little puffy! I will never be going back!! Make sure you have all your shots and antibiotic on hand if you do go in!! Avoid this place!! read more

I know there are a lot of terrible reviews of this place but my experience was really great. We walked in and were seen right away for pedicures. My nail tech, Kim, was so sweet and friendly. She made recommendations for things she thought may be helpful and made sure I got what I wanted. I did add on callus removal and gel polish. I typically do just the standard nail polish and I can see why so many people get gel polish now! Seems to last for a good amount of time! I also did eyebrow, chin, and facial waxing with Kim. She was quick, precise, and the process was basically painless. Thank you so much! I will be sure to come back when we are at Windward Mall again. read more

I would like to say not everyone were horrible here but sadly, I've been here more than 8 times in a period of 3 years and every time it was a disappointment. Last one I went to was with a "Nancy". Completely rude. It's normal that nail salon place, Vietnamese ones to be specific, for you to get gel or whatever kind they offer. I completely explained what and how I wanted but she still kept on insisting and started giving attitude. Most of the time I go here, they do the same, yank and pull on my hand like my bones don't exist or something. Never bothered talking to me after that. One time I went with a group of 10 for a bridal party, 4 of us got a cut on our fingers or toes. They're not careful enough and think we never feel nothing when they yank us or cut us. Talking in their own language to each other is rude! I know it's a whole language and cultural thing but you're in America now, let alone have a business with Americans. I've been to many other Vietnamese nail salons and its a given that they have these traits but this place is just unbelievably ridiculous! If you like this place then that's good but I'm just sharing my opinion and experience with this place. read more

Worst nail salon experience. Ever. Hands down. I went to Le's for acrylics and a pedi right before my wedding. My nail tech, a man, I can't remember his name, was awful. He could not, for the life of him, file the nails evenly. I had to grab the file and do it myself - ridiculous! The nails also were made way too thick. He also kept messing up the polish. It was lumpy and streaky. I had to have him redo some of the nails like 3-4 times. This was for my wedding, for God's sake!!! In the end, and like two hours later, I just gave up and settled for nails with many, many bubbles under the polish. Ugh, I hated those nails. On top of all that, he cut me at least two times. It burned and was bleeding. WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE EVER!!! My pedi was ok though, probably because I couldn't see them very well. lol. I still tipped him 10% but kind of regret it since the service was SO horrible and he was kind of rude about the nail polish situation. read more

What can I say about this place except to NOT go to this nail salon. I went in for a gel fill, which is priced at $28. I also had a nail removed, as it was lifted at the cuticle, which cost me $5---completely unreasonable as the process to remove the gel nail was to slide it between the crevice of the gel and your own nail and pop it off using the same plastic extension they use to adhere to your nail. I was also charged $10 to cut and shape the artificial nail and another $10 for a polish change. I got slices on my fingers in several places, to which he did not acknowledge, and my nails are obviously crooked. I do not frequent this salon at all, and I'm completely dissatisfied with both the final look and cost of my visit. I paid more than I would for a brand new set for a fill. I only came here a few times before and never experienced anything too bad, but this was by far the worst! I needed to get my acryllic replaced, so the guy (steve) starts to work on it. I tell him I can't get them with a colored polish because my work doesn't allow color. He says "why even get them done if can't color?" Wow what. I brushed it off. He finishes cutting them and asks me if I want round or square shape. I ask for coffin cut, so he cuts my pinky one inward. And then after, he tells me that it's $5 more for a coffin cut! What was I gonna do, have one coffin and the rest square?! So I tell him I'll pay the $5 and he gives me a lecture about telling him ahead of time cause he already cut it for a square. Should have asked me for my shape before then! THEN, he cuts my thumb nail WAY too crooked. It's almost pointed, but he doesn't seem to notice. He starts to file it, but keeps going until it's actually going into the tender part UNDER the nail!! He doesn't stop though, he just keeps going back to it, until I'm pretty much jerking my hand back from filing my skin down. It's been a full day and the skin is still tender! Won't go back! 50 something bucks is not worth being in pain! read more

While wandering through the corridors of Windward Mall, I happened to stumble upon Le's Nail Studio. With Mothers Day fast approaching, I decided to "treat yo self," as they say. As I entered, there were four other women waiting and spotted a sign-in sheet at the front desk. People waiting must be a good sign, right? I added my name and telephone number to the list and requested for them to call me when ready. After about 15 minutes of window shopping, I received a call and made my way back to the salon. They have to be one of the largest salons I've visited. They seem to be well-equipped with 8 adult massage chairs for pedicures, 2 Teddy Bear seats for keiki pedicures, and 12 stations for manicures. Quality: I was not 100% satisfied with the quality of their work. My feet and hands are by no means decrepit and in need of a major overhaul, but I do like when manicurists show some effort and really get in there to remove my cuticles. I feel like the lady who worked on me today barely, pardon the pun, scratched the surface. Polish: Overall, I was pleased with the work. I chose white with a pop of color and it turned out very classy-looking. The nail art on my fingers and toes adds that extra pizzazz. I'm not so pleased with the lack of clean lines on the borders of my nails (specifically the white polish). It just looks sloppy and hastily done upon closer inspection. Prices: About average. $40 for the manicure and pedicure and an extra $10 for the nail art on both my fingers and toes. Service: The girls were very friendly, making small talk as the session progressed. The shop appeared to be well-maintained. Bottom line: The shop was clean, prices were fair, girls were nice. The overall quality of work was questionable, though. It's a fun alternative while on the windward side of the island, but probably won't hold a spot on my coveted list of favorite nail salons. read more

This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! I came here to do a soak off and gel manicure and the Male technician got super irritated and loud when I told him I want my nails soaked off instead of ripped off. In absolutely no school of cosmetology do they teach, promote or advise ripping acrylic sets off. This damages your natural nail bed and should NEVER be done this way. After being completely rude to me, he decided it was professional of him to start talking about me to other customers while I was still sitting there. So Instead I got up and left. This place is horrible, unprofessional and GREEDY!!! Would never ever give business to this salon and I truly hope they get shut down! read more

She has lots of different designs to choose from & she has such good energy! I suggest going to her. She's off mondays and fridays so if you go on the other days be sure to ask for her! Asked for side by side services for a party of 5, they don't take reservations, but I went before hand and also called and was assured if we showed up at opening it would be no problem to be together. We showed up as instructed and only 3 of us were helped and the other 2 had to wait 30 minutes for more technicians to show up. I hosted the spa visit and they made me do 5 different transactions and wouldn't do one transaction, with all of the treatments on one bill. Thought that was kind of weird. The service itself was blah. One of the technicians cut the finger on one of my guests. It was pretty badly cut. We often do girls spa days, but will not be coming back here again. read more

The one star is for Lena. From the start she kept pushing for Gel. We told her multiple times no. Then when it came down to the design - she kept saying if she wants that then she HAS TO get Gel. I asked why and she kept insisting she couldnt have the nails (in left picture) without Gel. So I took the reference photo to the other nail techs and asked if this design had to be Gel. They both said "no can be regular too" so again I asked so why is she saying it has to be Gel. They later continued their conversation in their language and she just seemed like she didnt want to do it. Not only that but she cut multiple fingers and my sisters thumb was bleeding from the cut that she did. So I asked if someone who could do the design finish her nails being thats what she wants for her senior prom. The lady insisted she'd do it. She did such a terrible job! Looked like she intentionally did it with no effort. All the lines were crooked, she only did one coat, and you can see my sister's natural nail through the powder. I asked for her name so that I could complain and she again said thats why Gel is more better. BS, I did a french set with TJ and you dont see my natural nails. TJ was nice enough to look at my sisters nails and fix HER mistakes. He made her nails so much better and while my sister was under the dryer. Lena had the nerve to try and justify her TERRIBLE work by telling my sister its because her fingers. NEVER AGAIN! SHE'S THE WORRSST! GO TO ANYONE BUT HER! read more

EDIT: DURING A PANDEMIC THESE PEOPLE ALSO DO NOT CLEAN THEIR STATIONS. THEY SIMPLY FLIP THE TOWL ON THE OTHER SIDE AND PROCEED WITH THE NEXT CUSTOMER. THEY ALSO DONT WIPE DOWN ANYTHING This was the worst nail salon I have ever gone to in my life. Upon arrival they were already rude. As I got seated with my 3 other friends which by the way 3 out of 4 of us they refused service because they couldn't do a simple FRENCH NAIL. I think if you can't simply do French nails you need to go find a job elsewhere because obviously you can't even do a good job doing nails. The lady with a coconut looking hair cut was rude. She tried to PRY MY NAILS OFF when I stopped her and told her to let me soak she mouthed off and told me I'd have to pay and that it would be faster to let her pry them off. She threatens me with if I soak I would have to wait 2/3 hours while she takes another customer vs her prying my gel nails off. I told her fine I'd rather soak rather than you taking my fingernails off. She then jams my hands in the bowl forcefully after. I told her to stop doing that, she proceeds to grab my hands forcefully and try to continue to pry my nails off not even letting them soak for 2 minutes. While I'm soaking my friend walks over and asks if her French nails looked fine and that she did not like them. THEY LOOKED SO BAD. I told her there's not way in hell she was gonna pay for those. She asks the other lady to redo them and the lady then gives up and says someone else can do your nails I'm not going to. My 2nd friend asks her nail lady if she can shorten the nails a little and the lady said NO. CAN U BELIEVE WE ARE ALL PAYING 60$ EACH FOR THIS NOT EVEN LETTING US GET WHAT WE WANT. After the lady said no my friend got up and left. We all agreed to go somewhere else, but that left my 3rd friend still getting her nails done by the 4th lady. She was doing decent so my friend proceeded. After I told my coconut head nail lady to stop prying my nails off cause she was hurting because she already injured me. I told her I was gonna go somewhere else. SHE YELLED AT ME TO GET OUT. SHE LITERALLY YELLED. she said I had to pay for the service of soaking $10. I said hell no. So she proceeded to yell at me like a cave man. Anyways if you have any hope in your mind that this place is for you it's not. It's absolutely horrible. I would never go here. I contacted the business and the manager said he'd get back to me but he hasn't yet. I'm waiting! You've now seen Mr.Le's reply. If the salon wanted a parent's authorization and felt it was necessary there were liability issues. It isn't safe to do acrylic nails on a child. They tried to contact the father and failed. He said my granddaughter said "I've got the money!" So the issue is they wanted to get that money. The money was more important than the safety of a 9 year old child! In addition Danny did not explain or tell her about the extra charges. She told him she did not want gel polish. According to Mr. Le her charge should have been $35 for a full set $5 coffin style so $40 plus tax. She wasn't given gel as when she slept one hand was stuck to her blanket and the polish was all messed up! A sloppy poor job! Her friend got the same nails so she should have had enough to pay for her nails and leave a tip. Now Mr. Le said his employees should not speak another language in front of customers. He didn't address the fact his employees were talking about the girls in Vietnamese thinking they didn't understand. Kids are tech smart. My granddaughter turned her n Google Translate. They talked about the fact she was too young and then they went on to call my granddaughter ugly and they called her friend pimple face! Do you want people like this working for you? What Mr. Le says is one thing but what was said and done was just wrong! Danny keep the $20! I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for manicures and pedicures and waxing for that matter! read more

It seems they didn't want t ok waste their time with just nail polish and tool the more expensive pedicures instead. I will never go back. I have no idea why people give this place such a bad rating. I've gotten my nails done here over the last 4yrs and every single time I've walked out satisfied. After constantly hearing bad reviews from other people about them I thought maybe they're not doing something right that I don't know about so I tried another place highly recommended by a friend who gets her nails done frequently.. and I wasn't happy. I wish I had come back here instead! On my most recent visit, I had Tina. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she was so helpful and told me she'd do her best. I was so happy with them! Not once did she cut my cuticles or burn me either. Usually a couple hours after getting my nails done I'll notice a couple things I don't like, like the shape or if the one of the nails is crooked or not. I had the most horrific most traumatizing experience here. I usually go to Eagle nails Kaneohe but the lady I go to wasn't there and I really needed a polish change so since I had errands at the mall, I decided to go to the mall for a SIMPLE polish change. Tell me why they gave me an older man with hella attitude. He never even tell me where to sit just expected me to know where I was supposed to be seated then he started removing my color but cutting and knicking me the ENTIRE time. I tried to make it obvious that he was hurting me the whole half an hour and yet he still butchered my damn toes with that electric nail file. And he kept holding my foot down but I couldn't help but shake in pain already. Visible blood was showing and he still continued. Upon cashing out I told him I wanted to do Apple Pay and he stared at me for about 5 minutes and said "what that matter you no more money!?" As I was waiting to scan my phone! Super ridiculous. Yet I still tipped him appropriate percentage. WILL NEVER RETURN, even if it is an emergency. read more

I've visited here 2x, both times I left satisfied. It's always a risk trying to deviate from what I'm familiar with, but glad I did! Last time just nails were done and this time nails & pedi which was a great experience. Please ask for Nancy if you can. The quality of her work was what a gal like me would expect. Been getting nail services done for over 15 years and my one go to place is typically my first option (Top Nails) & now this place comes in 2nd. Only downfall, location is somehat fsr from my area where I reside. Upside... it's in the mall & it's convenient for a one stop shop during the weekend. I went to get my nails done with my niece and my sister in law after work. When we first enter, the lady tells me to pick a pink for the design that I wanted. She tried to convince me to get a dark pink although, I wanted a more neutral one to match my skin tone. She starts cutting the nails with a scissors and I guess she wasn't paying attention and literally cut my finger open. There was blood everywhere and she looked at me and said, "what did that come from". Instead of giving me a band aid or letting me wash my hand, she wipes it and leaves dry blood on my hands. She then continues to do my nails and squeezes the cut every time she does my pinky. My sister in law also did acrylics and before telling the man who was doing hers how long she wanted it, he was already cutting it, making it a lot shorter than she wanted. When my niece was done doing her toes, the lady wouldn't let her sit next to me because she said it would be to distracting. (She's 6) and was stuck sitting by strangers for about an hour more. Not to mention, these were $75 AND SHE CUT ME. I paid $117 for a manicure and a pedicure. They also DO NOT clean up after done.
