There are other places in Ojai, and it feels like this place has started slapping on a convenience fee because they know there aren't many options in town. The last work they did on our car was shoddy. They don't stand by their work and just make excuses rather than take accountability. Instead of taking our vehicle back, we took it down to Ventura. We ended up with a great mechanic, and we will now move all our vehicles down there for work. The problem we took our car to this place for wasn't actually fixed, which is why we ended up with issues not long after.

I'm super happy I found this place. I bought a used BMW X5 in January. Within 500 miles of taking…read morepossession, I started getting a CEL. Unfortunately I didnt take to B & C initially. I'm new to the area, so I had to take a chance on finding a spot. The first place I took it completely ripped me off. The replaced one part, and changed my oil. I wont even say what they charged, but its 2 to 3 times what it should have been; and it didnt even fix it. A couple hundred miles later, and my car became basically undriveable. Knowing the first place ripped me, I took another chance and tried out B & C repair. Within 2 hours he called and said the car was fixed. And like an honest mechanic, he handed me the part he swapped out; which was a bad spark plug. The plug looked like it was dropped at some point and basically had no gap. Not only was the car fixed, but now it drives like what I would expect a Bimmer to drive like. So clearly it was an issue before I took possession of the car. I was changed for one hour of labor, and the part. The bill was literally 1/6th of what I paid the first shop. So not only did he fix the issue, but he was completely honest and upfront. I'm really excited that I now have a go to Indy mechanic for my BMW's.

The young guys who work there rude and combative. It was embarrassing and a shock to see such men or boys to say so rude. Obviously the owner makes a pretty penny off of me and other people in town and I don't know why anyone trusts him but maybe everyone else has a different opinion but this is mine now. I do not recommend them do not go there they are rip off! They are not professional people at all. They had to make two separate keys one for the door one for the ignition instead of doing the what they should of the solenoid or whatever they needed to do I'm not a mechanic but the first time they should have fixed it right instead of us having to go back there and pay basically over $900 they are rip off you're not stand by their word and do not stand by their word do not

Dont bring your car here!…read more I had my radiator was replaced when Jason was still here. Jason was a really great man. Floyd, however, is very rude and condescending. 6 months after my radiator was replaced, the new one started leaking. I called and spoke to Floyd, who stated that if the radiator is the issue, they would replace it under warranty. Three times I brought my care here, and the first two times he said it's not the radiator. So those first two times he charged me a diagnostic fee. This being my only car, I had to pay Uber fees to get it there, and get back. On top of the diagnostic charges. The first time he told me it was the water pump and tried to charge me $900. I bought it for $100 on rockauto.com and replaced it, and still had a coolant leak, so it wasn't the water pump. I took it back to him and he told me it's the coolant hose and charged me yet another diagnostic fee. I let him replace it, and it was still leaking coolant. I took it to him a third time and he said it is the radiator and replaced it for free. Or at least he says they replaced it. Once I got it back, I now have an oil leak that I didn't have before, and it still leaks coolant! The only reason I am not suing him is because I decided to get a new car. So he charged me two diagnostic fees when I was right the first time, and I had to pay Uber fees every single time I brought it here. Two Uber charges to get it there, two Uber charges back, three times. And that is on top of his incorrect diagnostic fees. And now I have a car that still leaks coolant, but also now leaks oil. I say it again, do not bring your car here!
