When I looked at my ticket, I could see that "Diamond" had originally been written down and then scratched out, with "Chief Peak" circled instead - a service that runs around $40. I have a photo of the ticket showing exactly that. I asked the attendant, who I always confirm the service with, whether I had gotten the Diamond. He said no, this was the same wash I always get. When I brought the discrepancy to Jo Anne, she seemed to coach the attendant into saying I got what I paid for, which wasn't true. The interior wasn't even properly cleaned- crumbs and debris still in the center console tray, visible dust and specks on the seats and between the seats (photos attached). The exterior looked no different than it would have after a $40 Chief Peak. I spent about ten minutes trying to sort it out and got nowhere. An hour and a half wait, $130 out the door, for a 30-minute, $40-level service. Really frustrating . I won't be back, and I wish there were more car wash options in town.

Not toweled down. No one telling me it was done as far they were concerned and ready for me to take. I'm waiting and waiting, asking one of the guys working there about it... he doesn't say anything. I finally go in to ask the cashier (possibly one of the owners or manager), and she gets upset and tells me this is what I get. I dry it off myself using their towel. She starts screaming close to me when I mention how I'm going to share on Yelp about my experience. If this is what they mean by a drive through cleaning, why be upset that I want to make sure other people are better informed than I was?

We ended up with a great mechanic, and we will now move all our vehicles down there for work. The problem we took our car to this place for wasn't actually fixed, which is why we ended up with issues not long after.

All told, I spent over $1,500 on repairs done incompetently and which ultimately put my car in worse shape. I had a number of things done to the car, which was admittedly a lemon: the steering carriage was replaced, for example. But after one particularly grueling trip to Gabriel's, I got stranded on the other side of the grade, in Thousand Oaks, and popped the hood to find oil being spurted onto the spark plugs. I do not trust this garage and have never taken my car back. My overall opinion is that Gabriel's was shady and unprofessional -- and unfortunately, it cost me (and my family) a little too much to figure this out.
