I remembered Jackie as being incredibly friendly and talented, but since she wasn't taking new clients, was referred to Alexis. Alexis is fantastic. Easy to talk to and she gave me just the haircut I was looking for. I get a really nice family vibe from Stone Fox. They all seem to get along but also treat their customers like family - in a good way! I love that their products are all natural and organic. I have no problem getting appointments quickly and at times that work for me. They have a super convenient parking lot, too, which is AWESOME for the East Side. I had had a bad experience previously with another stylist who razored my ends to hell, and Sarah said that we would work together to get my hair back to where it should be. And my cut was exactly what I wanted even though I had to go a bit shorter than I would have liked (to get rid of the bad razoring). Sarah and I talked through everything to try to determine what was best for me and my hair - I was a little nervous seeing someone new, but she was very patient with me and took the time that was necessary to make sure I was happy with everything. The brand of hair products that SF carries is amazing. Similar to Aveda, in that they're natural and mostly organic, but they do so much more for my hair than Aveda ever could (and one of the shampoo/conditioner types smells like Thin Mints. I am very impressed with everyone who works here. They are upbeat, happy, friendly and very, very professional. My lady is particularly happy and loves the new owners, Melanie and Rebecca, as well as manicurist Janelle, who also performs pedicures. According to my lady, Melanie "...is an artist..." and is the reason why she gets so many compliments from others about her hair. The location is in a shopping center on Bluemound Road and Calhoun. I've been searching for a while now to find a place where I can get a really good haircut and also have a stylist who keeps up on all the latest trends. Bella was an absolute phenomenal stylist. She is very experienced with 15+ yrs and a wealth of knowledge. The salon has new Covid procedures. When you are to arrive to your appointment you text once you're in the parking lot and they will let you know when you can come in. Everyone has to wear a mask while getting their hair done. They have a hand sanitizer readily available if needed and they're keeping the place very tidy and clean. I couldn't be happier! I am absolutely thrilled with the wonderful haircut she gave me.
