This repair took 5 days to resolve ...not because he couldnt get it out sooner but because of the warranty response which he kindly helped me with through out the whole process. From day 1 he seamed like a good guy. I was having issues with the warranty and he walked me through the process till it was resolved, this guy knows his stuff. I got my transmission repaired I am happy I am very grateful for his help not only for repairing my truck but his helpfulness and all around kindness and patience. I first went to the shops recommended by my insurance company, but was NOT treated right by them. (They were highly patronizing, with a "don't-worry-just-leave-it-all-to-us" attitude that was extremely annoying. Plus, I just didn't feel a sense of trust...call it intuition.) Then I found Phill's. The owner, Ken, treated me with respect. He answered all of my questions, and even more, he provided me with information I didn't know about! He took the time to look over the insurance estimate, and found several mistakes. Thanks to him, the estimate was revised, and the amount the insurance company was willing to cover went up by $1500! I felt completely safe that I was being treated ethically and responsibly at Phill's. Now my car is back, and it looks brand-new! While I don't wish an accident on anybody, if you do have one, I cannot recommend Phill's more highly. Stay away from the fancy shops with the big names and go to Phill's instead. If my car ever gets smashed again, that's exactly who I'm taking it to.

I've ever met. He is always up-front about the work that needs to be done, suggests lower-cost alternatives if there are any, and doesn't try to get you to buy things you don't really need (like literally every other mechanic/dealership).
