I can't count how many times I ordered from here. When I moved to the West Island, I always wanted to have a Portuguese restaurant nearby for those craving. The food was delicious at the beginning; I'm talking about the 2 years. Hot, moist chicken, seasoned fries, fresh salad and delicious rice. It seems that this is no longer the case... The last three times I ordered from here, everything arrived at room temperature. Chicken was decent but the fires and rice were not freshly cooked at all. It disappointed me because I just loved knowing that every time we ordered from here it would be fresh and ready to serve. I had to nuke the rice and chicken in the microwave to have it at least hot. I'll take a break from here for now and I'll decide later if I should give it another chance. read more

I was surprised when I walked into the restaurant to find out that the ownership had changed hands. We are a social, foodie group. I was there last time 1 1/2 yrs ago and loved the food and the service and attended with a large group that filled in most of the restaurant. I was with a large group again and was not as satisfied as the last time around. Personally my plate was good. We had two tables of 10. I asked for them to take the orders of one table since it was full at one point and waited for the second table to fill out a little more and gave the order to take the orders of the second table. These are the comments of my members "I thought the service was sub-par, to be honest." " Poor services. Furthermore the meal size was slimmer too" "I found it funny though, I arrived late, last one to order and gets it within 5 minutes before everybody else, wilted salad an all" Furthermore, we asked for more bread and never received it, they only served Coffee, did not have Cream for the Coffee only milk. They did not serve any kind of tea. I asked for a cup of boiled water and a slice of lemon, literally had to wait for the water to boil! I personally loved their French Fries, they were nicely seasoned and real potatoes not the frozen kind, and the Piri Piri sauce was great too! If an institute cannot provide for a large group, I as an organizer do understand and should be told so! read more

I wanted to give this little gem the highest possible rating. I requested catering for "eight hungry people" and received 3 Portuguese barbecue whole chicken combos, with lots and lots of extra piri piri, subtly flavoured rice and absolutely wonderful hand cut fries finished with sesame seeds and a hint of lemon. The tossed salad was made of the freshest greens I have seen in ages, perfectly accompanied by a light house vinaigrette. The appetizers -- shrimp cakes, chorizo sausage and grilled calamari -- were outstanding. Noting that the restaurant would be closed around the time I needed to feed the crowd, I had asked whether it would be possible to have an order ready shortly after they opened. They were happy to accommodate. My order was ready exactly on time, and I received a courtesy call from the restaurant just before pick-up time. All this, and a staff member carried my order to my car! My new go-to to feed a crowd, and a very memorable Thanksgiving feast. Thank you 3 Marias. read more

Pretty good Portuguese resto. Once again found it threw Yelp and its yelpers. The olives and red sauce were great. I wanted to avoid the bread but that sauce was heaven. Octopus starter was really good but the squid was OK. I can still taste the one I had in Porto....My chicken meal was good too. I really wanted the Cod but they just got the shipment and not ready. I guess next time. read more

Les 3 Maria - Chicken sandwich - Portuguese Near Me - Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec

Great food but service is below average. I understand it's a family owned restaurant, but I'd appreciate if they didn't use the dining area as living room/office. I don't need to hear videos from their phone, nor watch the staff sitting on the chair so comfortably as if they're in their own living room. Service definitely needs a lot of improvement and proper training. read more

What a gem of a find! This is a tiny, no-frills spot in a strip mall that you might pass by without a second glance. Then you smell the food grilling! The specialty is chicken covered in delectable Portuguese spices: Tender with a nice kick! My choice was served with a large green salad and fries enhanced with garlic. I also sampled the grilled Octopus, which was fresh and tender. I already want to go back! The added bonus is that the most of the menu is Gluten Free - the owner and servers were great! However, this place gets 5 stars based on the food. :) read more

Truly a hidden gem. Really affordable and the chicken, fries and pripri sauce is amazing!

Came here 3 times. First time I loved it, but next 2 times didn't. First off...please put a napkin in your bread basket! Can anyone wipe clean the dusty border next to the tables? You might wanna bring a sweater or hope to sit way in the back, away from the freezing entrance area (in winter) or away from the a.c. (in summer). What about the food? Large full plate! That's definitely great. Half chicken with a salad (old lettuce) with no dressing (?!) with some french fries. First time I ate these fries I thought these were the tastiest I had ever eaten. But then, last 2 times they were not seasoned enough... The chicken NEEDS a side bowl of sauce or it is quite boring. Waitress seems out of place...portuguese resto? At least they play portuguese music. Thought I had found a good place, but it's not consistant. Again, I'll need to go back downtown, to places like Doval's. Being clean, consistent and fresh is very important in the restaurant business. This place just isn't. read more

Not many Portuguese restaurants on the West Island. Picked up some chicken leg dinners to go. Chicken and fries are soooo good, nice change from the usual take out places. read more

Great chicken and absolute best fries! 4th visit we'll be back. Call ahead for pickup.

Delish...busy..call ahead but be close because they are super fast!! This place fills the parking lot in DDO on weeknights between 5-6. If you need to go to the neighbouring Jean Coutu be prepared for no parking. And with good cause...you are feeding a family for around 25$...chicken, salad, fries..tasty. and I don't love chicken. Great piri sauce..my kids mix it with mayo to dip their tasty fries. Bonus..the chicken comes cut in portions. Often they toss in extra bits when a full chicken is ordered. Apparently Tuesday nights they have specials. I had the chorizo bun..there was enough extra bread for another family..and so good!@ Ambiance inside is typical mall resto..but the workers are so nice!! read more

In a week where I ate octopus 3 times, Ferreira, Quattro and 3 Maria. 3 Maria was the best even though I had takeout! I'm of Portuguese origin and know Portuguese food quite well. 3 Maria uses a charcoal grill which makes all the difference in the taste. When you walk in you're instantly transported back to the streets of Lisbon as that charcoal and chicken smell hits you. The chicken is fantastic and definitely the best in the west island and on par with the chicken in the Portuguese community. It's not quite Portugalia but without a doubt equal to Romados. It's a small place but fantastic. 5 stars for authenticity and taste, I highly recommend it. read more

Everything was just ok. We had mixed plates and chicken plates. The sauce was pretty bleh when raw on the table for dipping, slightly better once cooked. We took the leftovers to go and gave them away to the homeless because they weren't worth reheating. First round of fries was terribly salty but they were polite to replace them without a fuss. Very limited selection for juice/soda and we were extra unfortunate that our visit got caught between when they were selling alcohol and when they were converting to a BYOB, so we could neither order wine nor bring some in. Alcohol would have at least helped the meal go down... read more

They need to update their opening hours, because we made a big detour to come to this place, it's 12:45 pm and they were closed. In the app and their website said it was open. read more

What a little piece of heaven! Went with a colleague for lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We started with a couple of cod cakes - the cod and potato mixture was smooth, and they were beautifully fried. I then had a chorizo sandwich, which was nicely spiced (the server asked how spicy I wanted it, and it was delivered at just the right mild heat). At first the sandwich appears to have a disproportionate amount of meat to bun, but you soon realize that the sausage is so flavourful that more would be just too much. The accompanying fries were delicious - seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic. Side salad was fresh and the vinaigrette helped cut the heavier dish. My colleague had the chicken breast and said it was delicious. We finished off the meal with coffee (served with steamed milk on the side, a nice touch), and a nata. The nata is a custard filled tart, sprinkled with cinnamon - so good that I picked up 6 to bring home. Resto was clean, food fresh and service was great - I will be back! read more

Amazing chicken probably the best in west island! A little pricey in comparison to other chicken places but well worth it.

The fries are incredible. Full of spices. Now that the fries are out of the way, the chicken here is juicy and delicious. They have a very tasty spicy sauce that they serve with the chicken and fries that is a must for spicy food lovers. Highly recommended! read more

Consistently good Portuguese chicken at a very reasonable price. My go to place when we're in the mood for Portuguese chicken, only problem is its a bit out of the way. read more

Truly enjoyed the meal , juicy , fresh and tasty. To arrive at the result though service was slow and long. It is I guess an outcome of freshness and unique flavour. Hopefully they will find a happy median. read more

I really wish I didn't have to leave 2 star but unfortunately I didn't think more of it. We ordered the cod balls for an appetizers and they were still frozen in the middle. Then my husband ordered a chicken sandwich and specified not spicy. It came sooo spicy he ( or me and I like spicy) couldn't eat it. There was pepper alllll over the chicken. They did offer to change it ( and that's why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1) but by that point he had completely lost his appetite. The owner (or looked like it) was siting at the table next to us and never even bothered to come see what the problem was or even offered us a little discount on the uneaten sandwich.there was 2 other people in the restaurant, wasn't like he was busy. 50$ later and we're on the way to McDonald. The waitress was good at leas. Again, really sorry, I've never ever written a bad review before, but it really wasn't worth the money, time or effort. read more
