They are closed and have been for over a year now. When you call the phone goes straight to Verizon stating it no longer takes calls.

This year, we have planned two trips to the island and my wife and I are already planning how many Cosas pizzas and island creamery visits we can fit in. It's been almost a year and we're still talking about it. Can't wait to come back!

In terms of quality, the experience was about as good as I could have hoped for. I called in advance but it still took a minute to get my pizza ready, which is okay as fresh food outside on an island is worth waiting for, but bears keeping in mind. There are some picnic tables set up nearby but I did have to depart due to wind and find a more sheltered locale to eat. The pizza had relatively whole crushed tomatoes, which is usually not my preference, but in this case the flavor really hit. The tang, the char, the smoothness of the contrasting ingredients is what you'd get at a high-end place. A salad with ranch dressing and the tiramisu I got for dessert were not on the online menu, but having arrived and seen these options I was glad I elected to take them. It's not the same experience as a sit-down restaurant, but it was a winner for me.

After the tracker said had been delivered we called to actually ensure not misdelievered, interrupted before could ask question and was told had several deliverie. Forty minutes after tracker said was delivered actually received the pasta. This was over an hour and a half after ordering a sandwich & pasta. Further the order was not complete and the cheese Parmesan package actually pay for were not included in our order. So called the store at 4:40 to tell them and 40 minutes later still waiting. Called the store an 2nd time about Parmesan cheese and was told she was on her way. When asked for clarification either on her way or had not left the store yet, the employee stated had not left the store. so it is now 5:28 PM and finally have Parmesan cheese. This time when finally delivered cheese, there was a PASSENGER whereing a hoodie. As my daughter was handed a bag with the cheese, the employee stated to her "when you forget, I put more in the bag". We did not forget. But very sad takes two hours, to get this order.

Last night, on my actual birthday, I walked out…read moreof Amato's carrying two steaming boxes that basically turned my 2025 into a perfect year in one bite. First, the Large Cheese. This is the pizza your childhood dreams of when someone says "pizza." The crust is thin but has that magical leopard-spotted char on the bottom, the kind that makes a satisfying crack when you fold a slice. Sauce is bright, just tangy enough to keep you reaching for another bite, and the cheese... dear lord, the cheese. It's a molten blanket of whole-milk mozzarella that stretches like it's auditioning for a slow-motion commercial, then snaps back with that perfect oily sheen. No grease pool, just pure dairy glory. I ate three slices before I even made it to the car. Zero regrets. Then I opened the Sicilian and actually said "holy sh*t" out loud in my kitchen. This thing is a glorious brick of happiness. The corners, those fabled corner slices, are basically fried cheese cubes hugging a pillowy, olive-oil-soaked interior. The bottom is crisp like focaccia that went to war and won, and the sauce on top has that slow-cooked sweetness with little specks of herb that make you feel fancy even when you're eating it straight out of the box with your hands like an animal. The cheese caramelizes right at the edges, turning mahogany and nutty. I'm 99% sure this pizza added years to my life. I've had pizza in New York, New Haven, Naples, and Detroit. This random Tuesday-night birthday pickup just kicked every single one of them down the stairs and took their lunch money. If you're within 50 miles of this place and you don't go get these two pies, I'm sorry, but we can't be friends anymore. 11/10. Would sell my remaining birthday cake for another one right now. Go. Right now. Thank me later.
