Excellent customer service. Although busy the owner's son came out and assisted my mother and I with a request we had. He took us into his office and took the time to get the details of what we were looking for. He was patient, informative, and explained everything in detail. I love this nursery! They have a GREAT selection of plants, literally anything you can think of. It's a huge Nursery! Every time I come and visit I always tell myself I will get one plant but that's to hard! I end up leaving with 5. The prices are great as well, I don't live in Visalia so when I'm in need of a plant I go to Nursery's in Nevada or Home Depot but the quality of the plants are not like the ones at Leo's Nursery. Such a beautiful place with amazing products. The staff there is very friendly and always answer your questions especially the Owner, he is very honest with determining which plants to use for whatever project you have on your mind. This nursery has the healthiest, affordable, best looking plants in the valley for sure. Everything is well taken care of, and never afraid to ask workers for help to help find the plant you are looking for, or any general questions that you may have. How can you have a nursery with flowers and plants with no care instructions ? Was looking for fast growing replacement of two birch trees in mature setting. When I saw this red maple at Leo's Nursery I knew it was 'the tree for my yard"! I'm so glad I stumbled across Leo's Nursery on Yelp! They have any plant you could ever want, and not just a few, but literally hundreds of each. Their selection is tremendous and the place is enormous. It doesn't look like much from the street, but when you walk in, it just goes on forever. With it being my first visit I wanted to get a look at the whole place. By the time I got to the back, I was ready for a nap and I had only gone down one row! The staff is really friendly and helpful. I told them what I was looking for and they told me where to find it and how much each size would be. And the cherry on top was the prices. They're so cheap! I got several red banana plants and giant birds of paradise that were bigger than I've seen anywhere, and significantly cheaper. For years I've been going to Belmont Nursery because everybody says it's the best. It was a drive to Leo's, but completely worth it. Belmont Nursery will never see me again. They have such a great selection and are so helpful. We purchased a queen palm @ Leo's last year and it is doing wonderfully. Just last week I was on the hunt for an Oklahoma Tree Rose. My dad had rows of them planted at his farm over 20 years ago. They were hard to find back then, so imagine my joy when Leo said they had one. Don't get confused Leo once again Sir 80% of the money I spent on plant materiel was at Leo's nursery so yes I brought some of my customers there to look at plant material & if what you had was to expensive, not good quality, or did not have I purchased from other nurseries who ALWAYS APPRECIATED our business though they knew the bulk of our business was W/ Leo's nursery which is NOTHING short of SMART business. And lets get it straight It was I not you who ended our business relationship, once again what smart business man would end a good paying customers business who also sent business his way which added up to tens of thousands of dollars a year. As for why I took so long to write this review, well just been busy over the years making our customers happy & since I received some negative feed back from a friend who purchased some plant material from you it just made me do the right thing I should have done 8 years ago. Great nursery, fantastic selection. We first came here because it was closest to our house, but go back now because he has any tree and plant we might need. He's helped us pick out several great trees, including a gorgeous Coral Bark Maple that's growing nicely in our front yard, as well as numerous fruit trees out back. His staff is very helpful and know their stuff, and the owner Leo gives great deals on his trees. Yes, this place can be overwhelming (lol you don't realize how far is goes back until you try to walk it all!) but just ask the staff for help and they'll tell you exactly where to go. ;-) read more

I was astounded to see a sea of red trees on my first visit - didn't know there were so many varieties of Red Maples. Found an Orange Rocket Barberry - had never heard of it before, and they had several sizes to choose from - all in gorgeous condition. Plenty of help is available, too, from answering questions and offering advice, to loading your car. (I just can't seem to cram enough into my car, but they are experts in making everything fit.)
