It's is apparent that many other tourists dine here as well. Two tables were filled with American tourist ordering Hamburgers with fries. Not here to rave about the food at Bar Ercolano nor the service. You need to flag down wait staff for service as well as to get the check. It's about the ambiance here. It's all about people watching while enjoying that glass of wine with American music blasting in the background. One night we passed by Bar Ercolano and there was live musicians outside and people dancing in the street.

But the octopus was a little rubbery on some pieces. The char was nice. We also ordered cured meats and cheeses to snack on, and it was wonderful! I only wish we had more prosciutto. The day and time we walked in was slow, so our service was good. Overall, I'd say it's a good stop for a snack or something small, but the ambiance is the main draw.
