I was first referred to Preferred Builders by my tax preparer, Happily, my first repair/remodel turned out wonderfully so I immediately started a remodel on my own home. Scope of work: remove all the carpeting in the house and install laminate plank flooring in those areas. The travertine flooring in the entry, kitchen and hallway had large craters which collected dirt and water residue after washing. I had the floor steamed, the craters filled and the whole floor resealed. I had a gasline installed in the kitchen and a new gas oven installed. I also had a complete bathroom remodel which included removing a huge jacuzzi tub and installing an elegant and safe walk in shower. For the bathroom Nir listened to my concerns and needs and then gave me two 3-D renderings of my options. They have not returned since, yet somehow claim their work is complete. Not one bathroom was finished. I've attached photos of their "beautiful finished work" so prospective customers can decide for themselves. It's less "dream renovation" and more "living in shambles." What makes this especially upsetting is that the property is used to care for rescue dogs, who have been forced to live around the mess and unfinished construction while we waited for Dave's team to return. Based on my experience, avoid Dave Telem and Dave's Remodeling at all costs. If this is their version of a completed project, I would hate to see what they consider unfinished.
