After utilizing St. Louis Suit Co. for another wedding he was in and seeing that the pricing was almost the same to buy the suit and have it fit you perfectly from here, as it was to rent from the other major retailer, it was a no-brainer! We are so pleased with our experience, and heard nothing but good things from our groomsmen as well - they were able to get their suits ordered & altered in one location! They could also buy shoes & shirts at a really good price - it is so convenient being a one-stop shop for their outfit. Everyone who we interacted with here was so kind and helpful - they were even able to do a last-minute alteration to my husband's pants the week before the wedding! We highly recommend St. Louis Suit Co.

I am probably among his first customers, when he had the Euclid shop. This was in the hey days of the CWE, Flamingo Cafe, Europa, Balaban's, Culpepper's and others. I wanted a sandal with no back strap and with Steve's input, I got my first pair of custom sandals. The toe strap finally broke, and an identical new pair was purchased when the shop was on Delmar. The third pair was purchased while he was in Belleville. I wore and still wear these sandals virtually every day that the weather allows. Cheaper, accepted by the masses, but classless, flip-flops have never had a place in my closet. I don't need new sandals, but I need Steve's skill to see if he can salvage a Mary Francis purse in which the "leather" shoulder strap, cracked, peeled, chipped and is unusable, as it is. I believe anything that you buy from Steve will be as well made and your experience will make you believe that there are still people who don't accept mediocrity in their products. The purchase was going to be a pretty nice one that we were really excited about, but that experience had us just leave instead. I get that the store has issues with shoplifters, but you can't make a customer cry because one hanger is on the ground or because she's holding one skirt and two are in the changing room, so they're not all in one place. That's completely normal shopping behavior. The rest of the stuff like options and how much things are is all reasonable, it's just the service that's lacking.

As recently as last year, I have found that Old Navy makes great work pants. The stretchy, comfortable types that feel like leggings but are loose enough to pass as real work pants. Not only that but Old Navy have upped their game in the athletic wear department. On my recent trip there, I found several leggings and workout top that looked and feels excellent. It is now a usual stop to peruse their athletic wear whenever I am in store. Checkout counter moves fairly quickly here. I haven't had to wait longer than maybe 5 minutes.
