We have a Pottery Barn 8pc (17pc cushions/backs w chaise) patio sectional needed replacement. Equivalently appointed replacement products cost around $5000-$6000. We considered online purchasing replacement cushions at around $3500-$4000. We assumed re-upholstery to be cost prohibitive but messaged Nextdoor app for upholsterer recommendations and linked up with Leon Custom Upholstery. WOW. Cannot express how pleased we are with the results. Jose Leon is a confident, capable and professional craftsman supported by a quietly efficient and productive staff. Their fabric sample catalog is enormous and in touch with current high-performance manufacturers such as Kravet, Outdura, Sunbrella, Tommy Bahama and others. They kept in frequent communication regarding fabric accessibility, fabrication time and expected delivery. Yes, they offered pickup and delivery for us as we are in a reasonable radius (and the size of our project of 17pcs). YMMV. Jose did an awesome job redoing my favorite sofa that was damaged by an ink spill and years of wear. Originally, I wanted to have a slip cover made so that I could remove it to wash. When I brought the sofa in, Jose also recommended reinforcing the cross supports and replacing the foam. He had some extra fabric that he used to reupholster the base & pillows (removing my old ink damaged fabric!) and made a washable slip cover with material that I brought in.
