The food should not be missed. Their strombolis are named after characters from the Mario Bros games, and the yoshi is to die for. We had a focacia sandwich, too, and on both dishes, the bread is so fresh, it just hits the spot. For drinks, the classic negroni is solid, but their creamy drinks are next level. I am wondering if they use fresh home-made cream because it is worth the price alone. The Irish coffee is a decadent treat, and their take on a white russian is the best we've ever tried. How to describe the ambiance? It is like finding a frog-themed library that has a bar inside, and the bar has a rock music theme. It sounds confusing, but somehow it works like magic.

My taste buds got together and learned Portuguese they could write a thank you note to the kitchen staff. I took photos of everything including the signature cocktail and made my social media friends look at them. This place rocks! (Literally. They have a rocking playlist and live music at night.) No matter your appetite, this place has snacks and full entrees that span a range of palate-pleasers. You cannot go wrong here ordering something out of the ordinary or sticking with what's familiar. The staff are always in motion serving patrons and checking on tables. They seem very happy working together as a team. Their smiles were not just for guests but for each other. Comfortable indoor seating as well as relaxing outdoor seating to accommodate any size of party. Happy Hour specials and 2-for-1 pizza Sundays after 7 PM make this a great spot for anyone on a budget. They do not skimp on creativity or flavor. Treat yourself and try them early in your stay. You'll be better off than me with the option of returning here once more before you have to go back home. Manga!

Didn't have much expectations thinking it was gonna be a tourist trap but I was wrong everything came out to be exceptional. My group got 2 pitchers of their sangria and it was delicious and tasty. Their seafood is pretty fresh and everything came out to be very flavorful. I personally enjoyed the camarones y cahuil which is shrimped drenched in garlic and butter. Only mistake we had was the pizza and ceviche but nonetheless everything else was delicious. Big plus is the atmosphere. Music was on point and the vibe was what we needed after a long day. Would recommend this place if your in the area. Take note they have happy hour for drinks and their cocktails are exceptional.

Timing was right because we got seated right away and had a lovely meal before the service changed to cocktails only at 4pm. The outdoor space is fairly small so we sat inside. Honestly, this worked out better for our party of 5 and we were not sitting under the hot sun. Cocktails were good but the food is better. Some of the stand out dishes were the octopus and the buttery prawns. The crispy Greek cigars were good - but a different twist than what we are used to. They were topped with oregano and honey. I didn't taste any truffle in the honey truffle dressing. My daughter loved her matcha latte and the avocado platter. The oriental skewers (kofte) were good but I thought they were a little bit salty. We also got the grilled cauliflower.although it had a blackened char on it, it was very tasty. We tried half the menu between our two visits, and there really wasn't a loser in the bunch. The two that stood out for us were the milk punch and the green curry cocktail (can't remember the name), as both were unlike anything I had ever tasted before. The green curry cocktail BLEW MY MIND, as it tasted exactly like Thai green curry but in cocktail form. The balance of salty and sweet was incredible. I'm still thinking about them weeks later. The drinks were so good that we actually came back on our last night in Portugal, even though we had to walk 45 minutes up the hills of Alfama to get there. The vibe is also really nice. It's classy, dark, and mysterious, but the service is so friendly. Our first visit we were served by the owner, Peter, who is a fascinating guy. We really enjoyed getting to meet him and hearing about how he came to open this bar. The second time, we got to meet Peter's wife, who was such a sweetheart. It's also the kind of cocktail bar where everyone ends up talking to everyone else, so if you're looking to meet other people, it's a great place to go. Definitely don't miss this place! I have Celiac disease and so navigating food when traveling is always an experience for me and I immediately tagged this place as one we would return to. Sadly, when we went and I said I needed to be gluten-free and asked if they had a separate menu when I only saw three items the server said "We really don't have a lot." ...then why is it advertised in huge letters on the sign outside? Felt strange. The service was exceptional of course - none of this at all is a condemnation of the employees - they were all great and attentive and helpful... I just think the advertising of the menu and branding needs... some rework? The check arrived with major sticker shock for fries, wings, and sangria (that was way way too sweet). We spend a good amount of our disposable income on dining out, with intent, and the value ratio for this one was... off. Environment? Very chill neighborhood "burger bar" type place.
