The confirmation system is the main issue: if you don't confirm within their text window (for context; I was already having phone issues and not receiving some texts a few weeks ago) then you get a follow-up message giving you only one hour before your appointment is canceled. That's unrealistic for people who work and can't always get to their phone right away. I called back during my lunch break three minutes after the cancellation text came in and was told my appointment had already been given away. In three minutes? That doesn't make sense. Then suddenly I was told I could have my appointment back after I complained. How can it be given away and then magically available again? Either I was misled, or the scheduling process is completely disorganized. On top of that, the communication was unprofessional. Being told "that was my bad" & with an attitude the whole time we spoke by someone in management is unacceptable in a medical office. It's disappointing because the dentist themselves is great, but the front office experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I strongly suggest better training in professional communication or hiring staff who understand how to speak to patients respectfully.

Since Patterson sold the business to whoever the new owner is, the service has deteriorated year after year and I've final had enough. Don't believe me, just take a look at the reviews from a few years ago when Patterson was still the owner and compare them to the more recent reviews and you'll see what I mean. I was with them for 10 years, but no more. The rest of my family has already left this dentistry over the last couple of years and I was the last one holding out. Needless to say, I wont be going back to this place, especially when there's other options in town. It was not provided and they much later claimed they "never" provide Nitrous Oxide on first visit and she never requested it. The dentist and hygienist also tried to talk her out of her anxiety, which is about the dumbest part of this situation and shows the practice is more concerned staying on schedule than accommodating nervous patients. Her cleaning was rescheduled. My wife took a day off work. At 7:30 am the morning of the appointment, they canceled it. Apparently only one person is certified to use Nitrous Oxide. Sadly, I recommended this practice to my wife. I have left it as well, because they do not respect their patients needs. Another practice has managed to meet her needs.
