Quite a predicament to be in! I was appreciative of Billy Reid, the owner of Coastal Lock & Safe, responding in a timely manner to quickly unlock the camper door without any harm done. He lives locally and is not farmed out by some company in Chicago or elsewhere to respond. The first three companies I called operate in this fashion. They responded by telling me they would have a technician in the area contact me. Three did and all seemed sketchy and very difficult to understand. They also could not assure me they would not simply drill the lock out. I'm glad I passed on them and found Billy Reid of Coastal Lock and Safe.

I agreed to that. An hour later, my wife, who was still home, was told to send a Venmo payment of $578 directly to the technician there, his personal Venmo for David Aloni, for $578. I called the office on Feb 5 to inquire about why it was $328 more than he said it would be and that we agreed do. The woman on the phone said she would be happy to refund the "$125 service call fee." I then explained that we were charged $578 when he specifically got approval for $250. She did not have an answer other than, "This must have been materials and labor." I threw her my truck keys and told her to go. Then tried several other locksmiths found here on Yelp who either didn't answer, couldn't be here for hours, or were closed. Then I called Daniel and left a message and he called back in minutes. Said he was finishing another job but based on my address could be here in 25-30 minutes.
