I was running 4 mins behind due to traffic and they went ahead and brought in the appointment behind me since they were already there and waiting. Not ideal for me of course but great if the shoe had been on the other foot. It's a pretty cozy space so I waited for the appointment to wrap up by admiring the small town views and a few new pair of glasses. Dr. Nguyen was a pleasure. She was knowledgeable and made sure that I had just as much of an understanding of what was going on with my eyes. I didn't feel rushed at all going through my exam and she gave me thoughtful suggestions on my next steps to ensure that my eye health was being prioritized. I also appreciated that Dr. Nguyen sanitized the equipment before having me use each machine. At the front desk for check out, the woman who helped me there was also really patient as I scrambled to find my HSA card to pay. It started pouring down raining and she was even kind enough to walk me through the back door to my car so I wouldn't get as wet. I will be ordering my new contacts from here soon and was told the turnaround time is really quick. I look forward to receiving them and I am excited to have a new eye doctor.

I called First Eye Care, as they had seen me once before, under similar circumstances, and they told me to come in immediately. The reception staff was so nice and I was promptly seen by Dr.Kumar. She was so kind and shared extensive information about my condition, a severe corneal abrasion, and provided excellent care. She confirmed that I should not have put off seeing someone as soon as possible. Needless to say, I gave my original eye care provider a second chance to step up, and now I definitely won't be going back. First eye care Downtown has my business going forward. Eventually we reconnected and found out that they have been delivered, but to the other location (‍). They said they would be ready to pick up on the 28th. OK.... I show up on the 29th and they can't be found. Only reason I'm giving them more than 1 star is they carry decent brands and have a decent selection.

Wrong prescription!!…read more I visited this location on March 31, 2021! The doctor and the staff were decent. The exam didn't take much time. I received my glasses maybe a week later. When I got them they were dirty. The front desk lady was upset because I asked her to clean them. I'm sorry--but who wants to pick up dirty glasses? A few days later the glasses were horrible! They hurt my eyes and gave me a headache. I had to resort to my old pair. I called to tell the doctor about my issue. I went back in for him to "correct" the prescription. In the office, everything seems fine. I'm guessing because I only had them on less than 2 mins. So that didn't give my eyes time to adjust! Two days later these lenses are giving me the same problem. The prescription is just too strong. At this point, I'm over it. I couldn't just drop what I was doing for the doctor to "correct" my prescription again. So I finally had time and he told me it's been too long and I have to pay for this visit-- because my eyes changed within 2-3 months. Seriously!!! You want me to pay YOU to correct YOUR mistake. It just didn't make sense. I'll just count this as a loss and move on. I will take the rest of my money elsewhere. This isn't my 3rd pair of glasses so I KNOW what I'm talking about when it comes to my lenses and eyes. Buyer beware!
