I found mine pretty quickly yet Doreen was patient in sizing each of us for our glasses. She even went the extra mile in showing me the different type of lens colors for the transitions that I knew I would want for the one pair we purchased. Even though it was a very long appointment for fitting, sizing and such for us both, Doreen never made us feel like we were taking up her time. I'm just sorry I took so very long to write this review as we have been busy with so much in our lives. When it came time to pick up my glasses she even gave me cool cat cases, remembering how much I love our senior cat that I mentioned during our appointment Thanks Doreen!! We appreciate you so very much! Your kindness has not gone unnoticed Lovely Lady. Apologies for the tardy review

As soon as you walk in, you're met with a massive selection of beautiful frames, and what I think is super unique about their store is that they're pet-friendly! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and I'm looking forward to going back for a new pair of frames in the near future!

In both cases it wouldn't have bothered me if there had been another customer but there wasn't.

Here's the main problem. I made an appointment with Dr. West for an eye exam for CONTACTS. After…read moreasking him before he started the exam to make sure it was for contacts he straight up told me that eye exams for glasses and contacts were the same thing (should've been the first red flag that he wasn't gonna do what I asked and that he was scamming me, but I was tired and naive so I trusted his word) and ended up giving me a prescription for glasses. I was told over the phone twice that the price would be around $80, but instead was charged $95. Another thing I noticed was the wait time. I came an hour early to my appointment since I was driving straight from Norman to South Tulsa Optical and had everything filled and done, but I still ended up waiting 20 min past my appointment time when another lady, who came in the same time as me and was filling out papers too, was taken in by the doctor in less than 5 minutes just after turning in all her papers. Honestly the whole experience while in the office was not at all bad, but just the aftermath is what did it for me and straight up was a scam.

You said "she", I'm a patient of Chris McDaniel. But I understand that you feel things have changed. They have. And like you, I don't understand it, can't put a finger on it, can't verify a motive. You said, "seemed quite rigid and strange to not be accommodating". Okay we agree, something's awry. But, from my viewpoint, it's still a fun place with the artful displays, the inspired wall paintings, an optometrist who knows sign language, medical competency, etc. Perhaps you'll rethink leaving.
