When it comes to glasses, I am quite particular. I love me some fancy minimalist and lightweight frames such as Lindberg. They are quite pricey, but in my opinion, so worth it. Not everyone knows how to work with these frames as they are quite delicate. So when I heard Abe works closely with Lindberg and is an authorized retailer for the brand, I was beyond happy. I look forward to meeting Abe and visiting his optical wonderland. I will soon be getting my annual eye exam and will bring my prescription or prescriptions here. Stay tuned.

Honestly, I used to think you had to go to a Costco to get prices this fair or a good selection. You don't. Came here a few week ago looking for new eye glasses with my husband. We were looking for some…read moreplace that would take our insurance (our usual place doesn't take our new insurance) and a family business to support locally. I found them from my provider list and looked them up to see that they are a small family business. We came on a Saturday late afternoon and they were wonderful. We wanted to look at the frames first to make sure there is something for us before we agree to do the eye exam and use our insurance to process everything. The father Bill, daughter Kristen and tech Jennifer introduced themselves to us and was very helpful. We felt that the service was amazing. They were attentive and worked with us since I'm picky with frames. I even explained that in the past the Optometrist had purposely given me a higher prescription which forced me to squint for an entire year back in college which then forced my eye prescription to increase. Dr. Amir was understanding and said my prescription didn't increase much and it would be similar to it. I'm looking forward to picking them up and to see how it looks. I'm excited as this would be new glasses since 2018= new look.

I was shopping at the banana republic factory store, and laid my sunglasses down and then when I…read morewent to pick them up again the screw from the temple fell out, and I couldn't find it at all. One of the employees told me to go to Cohen's Fashion Optical they'll fix it for you which I did . I entered the store and was greeted right away and explained my problem with my Coach sunglasses and originally they told me you'd have to leave it because the person who would fix it normally wasn't there today and come back on Wednesday to pick it up . But then the employee said wait a minute let me go in the back and see if we can do it today and lo and behold, they repaired it within five minutes. They also tightened the other temple's screw. It was a three dollar charge to fix and it was worth every penny. Great customer service and I will return

The gentleman who works here is very nice and tries to always be helpful but the owner has done me wrong and turned from a pleasant person to a rude lying snake . I had to call my insurance company for help because after making false promises she did a 360 and told me that I had to get all new lenses after I paid an extra 90 dollars 7 months before plus insurance co-pay and was promised new frames in the new year for free which was part of my insurance plan. I still had the same prescription but now she couldn't find any frames to fit my lenses. When I got the new lenses in July 2024 I wasn't covered for the frames. She told me to come back in January 2025 to get new frames so that they would pop out my lenses bought 7 months before into the new frames. By the way since I was not eligible for frames when I got the new lenses they used the old frames that I was wearing for 2 years already. When this was done I noticed a small line in the bottom of my old frames that they but the new lenses into till I could get new frames in 6 months as part of my insurance coverage. I pointed out the line in the old frames and was then told it was part of the design of the old frames. I believed it was the start of a tiny crack but was told DEFINITELY NOT. Ok I trusted this store and took their word that it was not a beginning of a crack. A few months went by and in the EXACT SAME SPOT OF THE LINE I HAD POINTED OUT PIECES OF THE FRAME STARTED TO BREAK OFF LITTLE BY LITTLE. I went back to the store and the owner said yes they were breaking off and I must have done something to cause it. She said that I should be VERY CAREFUL WITH MY GLASSES SINCE I WAS NOT ENTITLED TO GET MY NEW FRAMES FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS. I left the store but before I did I mentioned that where the frames were breaking off was the exact spot I had pointed out a line in my frames after the new lenses were but into them. I was told NO! You damaged the frames and I had to wait for the new frames . I disagreed but it was fruitless to argue that they had started the crack when putting in the new lenses. She was adamant and told me to be very careful with my glasses since the old frames were still holding the lens in place. Ok I was upset but could not afford to pay for new frames because I was due new frames in a few months. I left and went about my business and the frames still held so I was just going to wait 2 more months until I was eligible for the new frames covered by insurance. January came and I happened to be ill so in the beginning of February I went back to the store but I was told that the owner was in vacation by the gentleman who always works there. He said she would be back in a week and in the meantime I should start picking out new frames that I wanted from the insurance companies collection and he made me an appointment for me to come back when she was back from vacation. I did this and also picked out frames that I liked. They were put away for me and I returned to the store on my appointment date. The owner came in and I asked her if she had a nice vacation and she Rudely informed me that SHE WAS NOT ON VACATION BUT ON A BUSINESS TRIP BUYING FOR THE STORE. I replied that I was only repeating what I was told. I had a new eye exam to make sure that my prescription was the same as 7 months ago and the doctor confirmed it. The owner looked at the frames that I had picked out and she said OH NO GOOD THE LENSES WOULD NOT FIT THE FRAMES. I went through all the frames that I was eligible for under my insurance and was told NO NO NO. None of them would fit my prescription. She then proceeded to go through the motions of looking in her stock for frames that would fit and came up with NOTHING AT ALL. I was told that I would have to buy new lenses again, at least another 90.00 plus dollars so that I could get new frames to fit. I thought that was RIDICULOUS AND WRONG SINCE 7-8 months back she SPECIFICALLY TOLD ME TO COME BACK AFTER THE NEW YEAR TO PICK NEW FRAMES FOR THEM TO USE FOR MY LENSES. I was SPECIFICALLY TOLD THAT I WOULD JUST HAVE TO COME BACK AND EASY PEASY HAVE THE LENSES BUT INTO A PAIR OF FRAMES I WOULD PICK OUT. OH HOW THE STORY NOW CHANGED!!!! She told me that nothing she had would fit any of the frames in the store and I had to buy all new lenses even though I had the exact same prescription in order to fit into new frames. I am disabled and on a fixed income and spending the extra $90.00 plus dollars in July was a problem but I was told I needed prisms and that was an extra cost so I had to get them and pay the extra $. It all seemed so easy in July to just come back in 2025 and pick new frames out which was totally covered by my insurance. BOY HAD THE STORY NOW CHANGED AND I HAD TO PAY FOR NEW LENSES IN ORDER TO GET MY FRAMES.

But it turned out to be some other doctor named Jyostna Jain who checked my eyes. Becky at the reception desk scheduled my tests as soon as I walked in they got the tests done for glasses and lenses. 1. I got to know later that my vision insurance was not covered at that place and they didn't even feel an obligation to let me know before proceeding with the tests. 2. A few weeks into using the prescribed lenses I noticed that something was off and got my eyes checked again and was told the right eyes power was tested incorrectly and there's a lot of difference from previous prescription. So over all I ended up paying $200+ for eye tests and prescription that was not even correct.

Dr. Lambertson has been my optometrist for somewhere between the last 5-10 years. Every visit goes…read moreincredibly well, in that there is almost never a wait to be seen if you have an appointment, and even if there was, his office is literally inside Costco so you could walk around to pass the time. Dr. Lambertson is friendly, and does a pretty much perfect job of making sure you get the right prescription every year. Once you're done with your appointment, Costco sells frames literally right outside the office door so you can literally step outside, hand them your prescription, and then have your frames ordered. It usually takes a couple weeks, but then you can just go and pick them up at costco. The reception staff is incredibly friendly as well, and I will continue to be coming to this office every year.
