I have been coming to this LensCrafters since I moved to Middle Georgia 2 years ago. It is located in The Shoppes At River Crossings on the corner across the street from Dillards. Every time I've visited this location the entire staff is friendly and personable. The optometrist is patient and explains everything to me about my eyes and answers all of my questions. Typically the exam is quick and thorough. Once I get my prescription I take my time to shop for the perfect eye glasses. LensCrafters has some of the best selections amongst optical shops near me. They have all the high-end brands like Prada, Ray-Ban, Tiffany and many more. The staff is helpful when it comes to making my final decision. I have purchased sunglasses and eye glasses from here and have been pleased with everything. I love that they have flexible hours and that I can schedule my exams on Saturday since I live almost an hour away. This location is always organized and clean. If I could I would give them a -100 rating. I made my appointment online 32 days in advance. I had the date time I made the appointment and the confirmation number saved on my phone. Writing this this is after making numerous calls to this Lencrafters over 2 months trying to make 2 eye appointments. I called repeatedly for 2 months and left voicemail messages telling them i was trying to make 2 eye appointments to which i never received a single call back. The day of the appointment my husband and I came 15 minutes early signed in only to be told we had no appointments. They asked to see our online confirmation which I showed them to which they said we had no appointments and they would not honor our online appointments from their store. They said we could wait all day and maybe they could work us in but there was no guarantee. They offered us appointments later or the next month to which we asked if we came on that date would we for sure be seen. They told us they could not guarantee that we would be seen on the date they set for our eye appointment either. Why make eye appointments if you are not going to honor them. We left and immediately and will never go back to LensCrafters. We had been loyal customers for over 20 years with them but NO MORE. We called America's Best eye care and they got us right in and went above and beyond to help us. We got 2 pairs of glasses each and they were excellent. We will never go back to LensCrafters, and i advise everyone to switch to America's Best. read more

AWESOME! Called on Friday to see if they could do my single lens prescription in one hour at 1000 on Saturday ; the gentleman I spoke to said they could. I showed up promptly at 1000 the next day & Pam initially said they couldn't do any lenses until noon because someone was running late. When I explained to her my phone call the previous day, she called someone. Within 10 minutes, Eric, on his day off, showed up, took care of my lenses and I was still out of there by 1100. When I told Eric how much I appreciated him coming in on his day off, he looked me in the eye and with sincerity and said: "I'm the manager; it's my responsibility." What a refreshing attitude! When I first went there for eye glasses I hoped for a good experience. My normal eye center was back logged with patients due to Covid and I really needed new glasses so I tried Lena Crafters. Well, they had my eye glasses for 2 weeks but forgot to call or text me and let me know they were in! I should have learned then but I gave them a second chance. Big mistake!!!!! I ordered prescription sun glasses so I would have them during my vacation. Received a text, went to pick up the $198.00 sun glasses, only to find out they screwed up! My prescription sun glasses were clear!!!! No more chances for Len Crafters! Going back to Browns Eye Center where zero mistakes have happened! read more

These joints are all the same, mediocre quality and poor customer service AFTER you PAY and then sometimes bait and switch tactics. I usually buy glasses and contacts. After the exam, I picked out a frame. I was told that this style of frame wouldn't look good with thicker lenses and she steered me to a designer line that was twice the price. Ok, fine. I took her word for it. But, later, I thought, she didn't know what my prescription was, so it would be impossible for her to know if my lenses would be thick or thin. She was simply steering me away from that pair to a pair they'd make more money on and that's the trick. Contacts. I asked for the prescription as I often buy them online. The guy behind the desk asked what I was paying and I truthfully told him. He got rather upset and said he couldn't match that. I didn't ask him to match anything. Another time and another location, they try to steer you into "their" preferred brands of contacts. This doctor gave me a trial pair of lenses. When I went back, I was wearing the lenses I had and not his. He remarked that I shouldn't be able to read what I was reading. Like, did he think I memorized this chart or something? After looking up the lenses he was trying to push everyone had the same complaints that they tore very easily and didn't see as well out of them. They were softer and for some people, that might be the deciding factor to tolerate. But, being softer and not as rigid, you do loose some aspects of clarity in vision that he didn't want to admit. He was a California want-ta-be doctor. Likely never had been in that state in his life but had the fake tan, dressed like he was heading for the beach and knew a few key phrases. My take from these locations is that it's a chain that's pushing products that they can make the most money from. You are the disposable product because after a few few times of being shoved off, you'll move on. read more

I have been waiting almost 6 weeks for a pair of glasses. My lenses were wrong twice and had to be sent back twice and I even had my own frames. It has been over two weeks since they were sent back yet again! I just called to check and of course can't get anyone to answer the phone. I will NOT be going back to this place and I certainly won't recommend Lens Crafters to anyone. This is beyond ridiculous. I want my frames back and my money back! read more

Dr. Vinh is hilarious and informative! This was my first visit to LensCrafters and I was a little nervous but now I'm so thankful I came!

I have a positive review and a slightly negative review. I thoroughly enjoy the knowledge and expertise of Dr. Vinh. I was surprised at how personable he is to his patients and how much he does care about what he does. However, I was not truly impressed with his staff the last couple I times I visited. I signed in and the staff did not bother to check if I had. Instead I was asked why I was there and not truly greeted how I feel a customer/patient should be. I had an appointment but the person helping me acted as is I did not need to see Dr. Vinh and that I was done when I received my glasses. I have been through the glasses proves several times and I know that the optometrist wants to make sure that your glasses are beneficial to your eyesight not "well, give the glasses a couple of minutes to adjust and goodbye" routine. I feel that the staff needs to become more oriented to the patients and customers especially if you're spending quite some money to better your eyesight. read more
