Really bad experience plus the employees do not care about the customer. From the exam itself I should've known. My doctors was an Asian lady who kept talking over me and was very rude. She was showing me different images and asking which one was better. Tbh none felt better because I COULDN'T SEE! I kept telling her "I can't see them" and then she snapped and said "I am not asking you if you can see them, I am asking which one is better" HUH? How does that make any sense? How is that going to help me? But ok. Fast forward two weeks later when I go pick up my glasses there was an older white male who helped me find them (cause they couldn't find my glasses after they had texted me they were ready) anyways, he comes from the back with a pair and when I put them on it was so blurry. Like it felt wrong. I told him that and he said I had to "adjust" and wear them for a couple weeks before I could say it was wrong... Fast forward two weeks of me wearing glasses that I KNEW were not going to get better because it was so blurry and zoomed in, I go back in the store and told the employee at the time what was going on. He goes to the back and comes back LAUGHING! Talking about "oops, that wasn't your prescription" ... I KNEW IT! I knew it, and they didn't care nor had any kind of remorse for making me wear the wrong prescription for TWO WEEKS! SMH! I got my right prescription now and it's ok. Since then though, i have been getting emails about "appointment confirmation" The first couple of times I called to cancel and tell them I never made an appointment, told them they probably had the wrong person and to FIX IT! To this point it still happens and I don't care anymore. I just cancel and someone else is probably getting their appointment canceled because they're so messy and disorganized. Never again coming to this location, I am very disappointed after everything I had to go through with them. Do not recommend! Avanzando dos semanas en las que usé esos lentes que SABÍA que no iban a mejorar porque estaba tan borroso y ampliado, volví a la tienda y le dije al empleado en ese momento lo que estaba pasando. ¡Él va a la parte de atrás y regresa RIENDO! Me dijo "ups, esa no era tu prescripción"... ¡LO SABÍA! ¡Lo sabía, y no les importa, ni tenían ningún tipo de remordimiento por hacerme usar la prescripción equivocada durante DOS SEMANAS! My wife and I have been using this location for 3 years. Never again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon our visit on 4/26/2025 we arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment. 2 employees were seated at the front desk, neither attempted to greet us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No problem ( maybe they were having a bad day). We proceeded to check in and waited 30 minutes for a pre screening ( no problem maybe they were busy). My wife and I both requested routine eye exams and were seen separately.The young lady performing the pre screening asked if we wanted Fundus Photography screening which we both declined costing $39.00 each. After eye exam and checking out I was charged for the Fundus screening which I did not receive and was charged for. My wife and I discussed what was done in each exam and discovered we had the same exam done only I was charged for something I did not request or require but was charge. I am a 67 year old on Medicare and receive no cost eye exam yearly. This unfortunate situation was only discovered after we returned home. while at checkout I was told they gave me a discount, how do you discount a charge not authorized. Upon arriving before my eyes were even assessed or my chart was even reviewed I Was told I had to do extra testing that's not needed nor covered by my insurance. Money hungry establishment. I am someone who does not even wear glasses or contacts; I have perfect vision the only reason I get my eyes checked yearly is because I pay for it in my insurance package. The patient transparency is horrible, when I asked about this "NEW" policy I was told it started August 2023. I then asked why not inform patients PRIOR to their appointment of this policy, I was told it's due to HIPPA. HIPPA has absolutely nothing to do with informing patients of newly "required, mandatory" testing even if it's not needed that's NOT covered by insurance. After visiting this location for 3 years I will not be back. read more

Everyone was okay. Customer service could do some work but not the worst thing in the world. I was told my copay for a basic contact exam was $65 dollars and for one with astigmatism $200. I'm a little confused as I know my insurance covers an exam with a $10 copay and LensCrafters was listed as under my eligible providers. I ended up leaving and getting no service to sort that out with them. My insurance told me that only a couple of the Optometrists are covered and that the copay she was giving me was my cost with an out of network provider. I am not certain if the young lady who helped me did not know but when I questioned the cost, she told me our prices may have changed from before. I'm sure we both could've found that out with slightly more searching so a fault on both ends. Regardless the store is clean and I'm sure some of the staff is pleasant if not just too busy to look into things. read more

I have always had a great service experience but not this time. I ordered new contacts two weeks ago, as I'm going out of town and need a back up. I called today to be told there was an issue with the vendor. I understand issues occur but a courtesy call would have been appreciated. What if I hadn't called for status. This is unacceptable. Our family has used this LensCrafters repeatedly and found them to be consistently delayed with getting our glasses. This time, I was told that it would take 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks passed I still had not received any update. In contacting them I found that my glasses had been shipped from Dallas but that there was no tracking information. With the Christmas holiday I was told that it would be 4 more days, bringing my total wait time to 3 weeks. When there are delays it would be great for LensCrafters to notify its customers. We should not have to contact them. They have gotten too big, and customer service has declined. Thank goodness other eye glass stores are opening everywhere! read more

I went to look at glasses after getting my eye exam at my eye doctor. After I chose a pair I liked I was pressured to buy all the extras and was appalled at the final cost of my eyeglasses. I have insurance so I feel like they took advantage of that to charge so much. I said I was surprised at the cost and wanted to compare prices elsewhere, they immediately started trying to remove all the upcharge items. I left very dissatisfied. I then went to Warby Parker in Buckhead and purchased a pair of glasses (with all the extras included) for $95! Customer Service was excellent. When I went to file my insurance claim for Warby Parker I found out that Lens Crafters FILED MY CLAIM!!! Are you kidding me? Pretty sure that is insurance fraud! Did not realize a mask was needed until I got there. Was approached by Desmond who was very curt and told me I could not have an appointment or enter store without mask. I asked him if he had any disposable ones on hand and he emphatically said no. Thankfully, I found one at the bottom of my purse and was able to do appointment. No biggie. However, while I was seated a lady came in without mask, Desmond acknowledged her and she even sat in front of him and nothing was said regarding a mask. I do not know why Desmond openly chose to treat 2 customers completely differently for no reason. Just don't like establishments that don't treat their customers equally. This is not the same Lens Crafters I went to last year. My family and I will be moving on. read more

I had an excellent experience today at the Lens crafters on scenic Hwy. Saya was awesome very polite, friendly and helpful with choosing my glasses. When I walked in the door I was greeted with a welcome to lens crafters. Everyone was wearing a mask and following the the distancing rules. Use to love LensCrafters cause I could get glasses in an hour but since they ended that the glasses take about 2-3 weeks to come in and good luck with them calling you when they arrive. If you need glasses right away, that's a pain. Since they no longer have that service there's no real advantage to going here so this will be my last pair of glasses with LC. As to this location... They are SLOW and you're gonna be waiting forever. They really should just sell based on appointment. read more

This is the worst place. My sister was there last week with my mom who is almost 60 years old and the dr. Was treating my mom so bad. She could barely see so she kept squinting her eyes and the lady yelled at her telling her to stop or to do it right or get out. After that she started yelling at her to stop saying stuff she didn't ask her. This lady is very lucky I was not there bc it would have been really bad. I needed another pair of shades so I decided to try this place out today. To make a long story short I found what I wanted but it comes at a costly price depending on what you want. By the time I walked out of the store with the shades I wanted I ended up dropping $200 easy. They also do have a nice insurance plan where you pay $35 for the year and if you damage your shades in any kind of way you only pay $25 for replacement but some things are also free. It just depends what you end up doing to them. No it does not cover lost or stolen. read more

Long story short, I had my eye exam 4/18/2011 and I didn't get my eyesglasses til 1.5 months later or even my "trial" contacts til 2 months later. Reason being: My orders had been "lost" and no one bothered to call me. I called them at 2 weeks and was told that it could take up to 4 weeks for my order to come in. When 4 weeks rolled around, I was told that it could take even longer... :L They did try to make up for the lost orders by providing a temporary lens for my glasses (It did not have anti reflective coating), and then offering me a discount on my co-pay. They also provided an extra pair of trial contact lenses as I waited for the correct trial pair of lenses to come in. ( I have really bad astigmatism.) I'll acknowledge the effort, so for that I give them 2 stars. But otherwise, it would have been in the negative star range. read more

This place is a piece of ****. I went there for a contact lens eye exam and I told them I was gonna order off of Walmart so they can just approve my prescription when Walmart contacts them. They ended up denying my prescription because according to the manager, the doctor that I was seen by is only there 1 day/ week so they cannot get it authorized. Then they tell me the only way I can get my prescription is to come back for another exam. People are so unprofessional here. They talk to you in a condescending way. I had another bad experience with them a while ago but gave them another chance. That was a mistake. Will not be coming here ever again. read more

I have never complained about service before but this is crazy I have been trying to get my contact prescription faxed to have them filled for 2 weeks. They have sent nonexistent prescriptions 2 times told me I need re to wait for the doctor to come back in 4 days. Not returned calls. Also told me no brand comes in my contact prescription which I find very hard to believe. Also they forgot to initially order my trials so those took 3 weeks to come in. Just feel like I wasted $100.00 plus my insurance benefits on this place. Beyond frustrated right now. read more

I had an appointment at 4. I arrived at 3:45 and didn't even see the Dr until 5:45! Ridiculous! If they accept walk ins, they should still go after the appointments! I rearranged my entire afternoon, including childcare for my small children and then sat for 2 hours. I'll never return...I'll go to Pearle! Update: we had to return another day because they didn't have enough time to fit for contacts before closing. Bonus: we were told by the Dr that day that contacts really aren't an option because the astigmatism is so small and prescription for glasses was only based on that bit of unclear vision.
