Worst customer service I've ever had along with a horrible product lens are the worst ones I've ever used

Really exceptional service! Very accommodating and helpful in every way and then some. They really go above and beyond at this location. The eye exam place right next to them isn't apart of lens crafters. So if you get bad service from them it's not lens craters fault. Was really happy with the experience as a whole here! read more

First time for me today at LensCrafters at Valley Hills Mall in Hickory. The exam was fine the optometrist was very friendly but professional. The employees in the office helped me find the best price for the exam. When I went next door to select glasses, all the employees were super nice they helped but I did not feel pushed to select more expensive frames. They looked up what my insurance would pay and showed me frames with that in mind and the price I wanted to pay. I wound up with 2 pairs, one regular and one prescription sunglasses. With what I saved I am now on their website looking at additional pairs. Great deals. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. read more

I've gone to this LensCrafters for sunglasses for many years and always had a great experience. Friendly staff that took the time to make sure I was happy with what I picked out. Last December I found out I would need prescription glasses for the first time in my life. The staff here helped me get an eye exam with Dr. Kiser's office next door, and then helped me pick out a great pair of frames. Having never worn glasses before, they were very patient with me going back and forth on a frame I felt comfortable with, and they would all give honest opinions when I asked what they thought. And believe me, I was self-conscious enough that I think I asked everyone there what they thought of each frame. I went back the past weekend to also get some prescription sunglasses and had another great experience. These were a little easier for me to pick out as I knew more of my style in the sunglasses department, but they were still very helpful with every step. After picking out the frame and which lenses I wanted, my wife and I grabbed a bite to eat and my sunglasses were ready for pickup right after we finished our meal. The service here has always been top notch. They take the time to make sure you find what you're looking for and to explain the differences with lenses/frames. The LensCrafters store (not the opthalmologist; Dr Kiser is great) is a SCAM. They offer 40% off yet their lenses and frames are 40% higher than anyone else's. Moreover, they wouldn't take my $150 insurance off the 40% price. It is an either/or and that smells like a SCAM. Avoid. read more

They were fast and efficient- I was on my Lunch hour - Sales person found me a pair of glasses I liked. Made sure my lenses would fit. Reviewed the details with me and ran my credit card. I got an email on hour later and my glasses were ready. I picked them up after work. Very helpful team - store was very busy but I was in and out in about 15 minutes - Great Work and thank you !! read more

INCOMPETENT SERVICE! The eye doctor was ok, but the staff was beyond incompetent. I was early for my appointment, three individuals were late for their appointments and arrived AFTER my appointment time, but they got to go before me, which ended up in me waiting over an hour for my appointment - the staff could have cared less. Then, when I went to order my new glasses, I could not have had a more incompetent person named Lola who did not know how to fit the glasses and gave me a hard time because I wanted to use my own frames. It took two hours - and then she kept screwing up the order when I was checking out so that I could pay for it. THEN! when the glasses were ready, only two pairs were ready (although the voicemail said all three pairs were ready) and the woman getting my glasses refused to believe me and another person said they were in Beijing! Nope - I'd rather go to Walmart than this place. read more

The advertisement for glasses in 1 hours is false so if you go in expecting to get glasses before u leave forget it. Also I was very disappointed at the way a special needs lady was handled today or almost not handled. If you cant service all people handicapped or normal as u would call it u don't need to work with the public. Narrow minded people who treat God's chosen ones as if they have a disease need to do a little research, they are not contagious and u can't catch anything from them so treat them with a little respect and you'll find its rewarding to work with them. read more
