Lies concerning next day shipping... Ordered my glasses on the 14th, here we are on the 17th and still not shipped. Customer service is non existent. I do not recommend this company. Plenty of other alternatives read more

5 - Eyemart Express Hickory is amazing. I took my mother here to get a pair of glasses. She does have insurance which covers $200 for glasses. We came away with 4 pair of glasses for less than $50 out of pocket. We went to run a few errands and within 36 minutes I had received texts for all 4 pair letting me know they were ready. We went back to get them - 100% perfect!!! She loves them all and is so proud of them for she now has colors to match her outfits . I honestly can't recommend this place enough. I have been telling anyone who will listen. She had a prescription from her long time ophthalmologist and we just walked in. Within minutes we were assisted and narrowing down her selection. yall i had such a great experience. broke my sunglasses and needed to get a pair in three days - no eyeglasses place in boone said that they'd be able to make them on time so i drove an hour to hickory for this eyemart, as they said they could have them ready within a day. with insurance i got my frames for free. ive never seen a price that low for the pair of prescription (and polarized) sunglasses i bought. misty was the one helping me out and she was so sweet and accommodating. not to mention - they had my sunglasses ready in less than twenty minutes! i literally had to ask misty a couple times if it would truly take twenty minutes because i've never had any pair of glasses ready in less than a week. beautiful quality - absolutely will be returning. cannot recommend this place enough read more

I've been coming here for years and usually had good experiences, but this time was really disappointing. They got my prescription completely wrong, and when I asked them to redo it, I was told I'd have to pay again -- even though the mistake wasn't mine. After being a loyal customer for so long, I expected better service and accountability. Very disappointed with how this was handled. read more

10/10 recommend! First time getting glasses and the employees were so kind and attentive! They had a huge selection that you would get prescription SAME DAY! That was a huge surprise for me. They had good prices and the accessories are very reasonable. The glasses cleaner has free refills for life, definitely get that! read more

A few of the staff at the Hickory, NC location is rude and acts as if the customer is a bother. I visited this place on 4 different trips in January 2023. Each time they acted as if the customers were a bother. They were only rude to me on the second visit but they treated other customers with short quick answers and rolled their eyes at each other when the customer was not looking. These customers were elderly and did not understand the process. On my first visit to this location, the staff was arguing among themselves one young man and one young woman. On my third visit, two of the women that worked there were smarting off to each other. Love my glasses and the price was reasonable but the staff was not so nice!!! read more

Super excited about this place. Unfortunately, despite having 4+ visible employees they are unable to fill a prescription because there was no optometrist on site. It's 4:30 PM... lol But, there is an optometrist next door as they are conducting business as usual. Poor customer service and low expectations are the norm. read more

What a wonderful experience. This has now become my favorite place to shop for eye glasses. My husband and I were greeted with warm charm as we entered. The lady who greeted us was extremely helpful in choosing my new pair of glasses. I got two pair of progressive for under $100. That's a deal folks!!! I've had these for several months now, I have no complaints! They have a huge selection of frames to choose from. Your lens are made there on the spot, Same day. I believe it took less than an hour for not one, but two!!! A must shop if you wear and need glasses! read more

I'm pretty sure my husband and I had the same ophthalmologist, Asian woman, extremely condescending. We will not be return customers.

Went today with my mother to get her prescription for her glasses The doctor there is Very rude and disrespectful to the elderly She made an error in the prescription And would not even talk about it to us after 2 hours waiting they finally said there was an error in the computer We never got to talk to the doctor I would never recommend this place to anyone The eyeglass side is very friendly And helpful in any way possible read more

I was in need of an eye examination for new glasses. I have to admit, I am guilty for judging! This office is adjacent to a Walmart. I was very skeptical, and very short on other options. So glad I was! As soon as I enter, a woman coming out of the office noticed me and without a beat, asked "how may I help you!" I don't believe I was quite ready for her readiness to help me. She was courteous, very friendly and pleasantly professional! Right away she took my information, and didn't hesitate to let me know I could be seen within a few! She had no idea how happy she made me! As soon as I finished my paperwork, I was seen by another woman who was just as nice as the other lady. (My apologies for not asking either of the women their names) Not long at all, I'm seen by the optometrist. Again, pleasantries, and professionalism! All this, in one office...WOW!!!!! Some places make you feel like you're just a number, or you're riding a conveyer belt. Not here! This office wasn't that large, but it's filled wth the right ideas and personalities on how to treat a person! I had such a wonderful experience, I intend to bring my sister and nephew for their eye examination! read more

Terrible experience. Cost me 350.00 for nothing. The optometrist they sent me to next door somehow managed to write my prescription incorrectly and I received 2 pairs of completely useless and way over priced glasses. I went back and heard excuses...I believe the eye mart side made the glasses according to the prescription the 'optometrist' wrote but her prescription was 100% wrong. Just a terrible experience. Would urge you to avoid this place. I should have pursued this and fought it but had a heart attack 2 weeks after this disaster. Don't go there. read more

We (me, 2 kids and another adult) had been clients for over 5years at the old Bethlehem Eye Care facility. They were amazing never waited more than 10 days for glasses, always returned calls and super helpful. Now the new owners and new doctors, I kept trying to give them a chance. My daughter waited nearly 3mos for her glasses to come back they assured me it was covid reasons I gave them benefit of the doubt and she had backup glasses. Then this year 2021 my son's glasses got broke on a roller coaster they had lifetime warranty on them. They assured me the frames would be 7-10 business days. 3mos later they decide then after my son missed his baseball tournament as he couldn't see to come in and they would try to find different frames after his are on back order. He was due to come in weeks anyway to have his eyes checked. I called always I called them, never returned calls. I called several times was told different things all the time first it was the frames are in the hickory office to oh no they aren't there that was a mistake. So when they finally offered me to go and get different frames as his were obviously not coming I told them I didn't trust them anymore to order anything for us. And who would, they don't tell accurate times obviously have no communication with vendors for there frames. All they had to do was be upfront I was as nice as I could be but after nearly 3mos of him being without glasses we went somewhere else.None of the original doctors, secretary's are there the homey feel is gone. They should have called the vendor found out they are backorder I am pretty sure within a few weeks they knew or would have had called then to see what they could do for a frame for him and put his old lenses in. This new place was much better and less drive and he has glasses. I hope they will do better in the future and I used to recommend them to several folks I knew in Taylorsville never ever will I recommend this place again. Supposedly they are sending me a check for the glasses my son never got but even then the time they said they mailed it out to me, I called a week later and got oh yeah we had to wait for the doctor....that is late to. Very irresponsible place I wish them luck in the future but we will never step foot in there again! They obviously didn't want us there anymore after the way we were treated and my son is the one who suffered read more

I have been a patient of Dr Peter's as well as my two sons. She is very professional but friendly and has gone above and beyond to make my older son, who is a quadriplegic, very happy and comfortable. She seems to always be on time and rarely have to wait. And above all, provides accurate prescriptions and opinions on the proper type of corrective lenses and eye care. Thanks Dr Peter's for all you've done for myself and my family. read more

The service, friendliness, quality, and prices here are the best I have seen for this type of business. Excellent work, highly recommended!
