There were two staff members helping other customers, which I understand, but after standing there for about 12 minutes no one even acknowledged me or said they would be with me shortly. The reason for his treview today is the superior customer service of Denise, their general manager. She is very friendly and helped me with a return of a gift to Rayban.com, which was not even purchased through their store. She spent extra time and attention to this matter, which was actually more challenging given the hoops and hurdles that the online store requires. I am never one to write a negative review about a business. It takes a lot for me to speak poorly about a company. I've been going to this location for over 5 years. As a return customer, I am truly disappointed in their lack of professionalism and business practices. After discovering I had retinal tears, I have been seeing a retina specialist for laser surgeries the entire year, including monthly eye exams. When my contacts needed to be filled, I was informed poorly that I needed an annual eye exam with their office (lens crafters). When I went in to retrieve my rx to move my services to a different office, the staff was rude and unprofessional. When I also asked to pick up my husbands rx, she informed me they had no information on him, he's been going to the same location for 5 years. When I went to use my vision plan at another office, they noticed that Lens Crafters had charged my insurance for an eye exam that never occurred. Not only is this considered a medical malpractice, it's also illegal. When I called, (Emily) they acted as if the charge was never posted and to contact my vision provider myself to dispute "the mystery charge". I am grateful I have chosen to move my services to a different office with both honest and upfront services. I will also be insisting that family and friends avoid this location. read more

LensCrafters is an in-network member cost at plus provider with EyeMed Vision Network. Per the policy the member does not have a co-pay for eye exams and a frame allowance of $150. Unfortunately, I was made to pay a $10 co-pay for the exam and would only be allowed $100 for a new frame, I paid the $10 and walked out without purchasing frames. Went in to have an eye exam, then buy two pairs on glasses, onem for driving and one for reading. I was seen by the female doctor (there is one male and one female) She did the exam and wrote a prescription which was filled by them. Not too hard to remember me, as I am so small that I buy children's sizes. Even with the lower quality of the children's sizes, the price for the two sets of children's glasses the cost was $400.00 When I went to get the glasses, I looked for fit only. When I got home I realized that I could not see out of the glasses I returned them, they checked the lens and said they would redo. I went to pick up the redo and went for an appointment with the male doctor. In the course of me trying on the glasses, he asked me "She did tell you that you have cataracts, didn't she?" I turn around in shock and said "WHAT? I HAD NO IDEA!!" They did not refund any of the money for the exam nor the money for the glasses---although I did have it confirmed by a doctor at Scripps that I do, in fact, have cataracts and am going to have to have surgery--neither of which are worth a thing to me. Quite the money grab. Stay away from this "business." Complete lack of professionalism. read more

Plus she never even stood up to show me anything. Then looking around I saw 3 other customers not being help either meanwhile the 5 employees ignored all of us. 2 at desks and 3 behind counter. As a GM of a clothing store I understand customer service is everything, which means your team is everything. Whomever is the GM here PLEASE do yourself, and customers a favor and reevaluate your team. I will never return to this location! read more

I have shopped at this location for the past 5 years. They are always very professional, extremely helpful in all phases of eyewear. The doctors are excellent in their exams and have great recommendations. The biggest kudos is that Lenscrafters stands behind their product making sure all is correct with your glasses. I have had to bring back glasses for adjustments and replacement...never a problem, no cost involved.The selection of eyewear is outstanding. Blind folk unite! We all congregate for our annual/bi-annually pair of glasses, just so we can see the world in high definition. LensCrafters has the reputation... but I never had am opportunity to visit! Made it a point to schedule an exam and glasses purchase here for the first time. I was immediately greeted as I walked in. Introduced to George who immediately asked for my glasses (which I hadn't purchased at LensCrafters) and got to cleaning, adjusting and fixing them. I was blown away! Having scheduled an appointment online, I was then ushered into the exam room by Dr. Esfandiari. A very kind gentleman, great at carrying a conversation, and immensely knowledgeable on optometry even at one point nerding out about a photo of the back of my eye and a unique "surfers eye" minor damage I have on one of my eyes (wear your sunglasses kids.) I loved it! I was in and out of the exam room in 10 minutes and was given the choose to parooze hundreds of pairs of glasses. I was the sat with George who helped me put in an order for Oakley Sunglasses and a pair of wire frame glasses. He made multiple measurements and adjustments to the frame to make sure my eyes were centered in the lens and the glasses fit on my face. Two weeks to order the glasses. My sunglasses arrived within a week. My glasses arrived right on the 14th day! When my sunglasses arrived I again was paired with George who spent 15 minutes making sure they fit just right. Heating up the plastic frame and bending and twisting till the fit just right! When my glasses came in, same treatment from George. You can tell, he truly cares about his craft. Walking out the door satisfied with both pairs. I continue about my day, until I encountered an issue with my glasses. The thin wire frame allowed me to see perpendicular to the angle of the lens which caused me to see double and triple in my peripheral, causing me to feel dizzy/sick. An hour later, I was back in front of George, explaining my issue. He went all out to try to "fix" it, measuring lens curvature against my original pair, realigning placement on my face, I was honestly impressed. We finally settled on me having to return the wire frames and moving back to thick frames. 30 day satisfaction guaranteed! I did a bit more paroozing and found a great pair of Burberry's. George expedited me a 20 minute lens creation in house. My glasses were ready in 10 minutes! I was blow away. If you are due for your yearly or bi yearly check in or just need your glasses adjusted, definitely swing by, ask for George. The guy is truly a master of his craft! read more

My husband and I have been here twice and the service has been great. They replaced the nose piece to my glasses and had frames that my husband liked. (Our first visit, they fixed my issue with my sunglasses to that it doesn't catch on to my hair.) They also accept insurance. My husband's glasses didn't seem to have to correct lenses so we went in and they re-measured the glasses and replaced them. We will continue to have our prescription glasses serviced and purchased here. read more

Went in today to have my son's Oakley glasses repaired. The store is super clean and the staff was very helpful. I was greeted within seconds of entering the store. They took my son's glasses into the back for a few minutes. The very pleasant gentleman with the Packers jersey came out with the repaired glasses. The glasses were perfectly repaired and spotlessly cleaned. I asked him what the charge was and he said the repair was complimentary! The whole process took no more than 10 minutes. He made suggestions that were very helpful and listened to what I wanted. He didn't try to sell us things I didn't want. Bad Eye exam led to a misdiagnosed prescription :( After having an eye exam here and receiving an up dated RX ...I decided to check out some frames...after getting the price estimate ( which was high$$$) ...I decided to shop around....found a much better price at Costco Optical ....I ordered new glasses with the RX i got from the LensCrafters optometrist......When I received my glasses WOW!!!! I knew something was wrong :( Luckily the optometrist at Costco had an opening so I decided to have them check out and see what the problem was....after an examination including a comparison of my new glasses and the RX from LensCrafters .....it turned out the prescription from LensCrafters Doctor was way off!!!!!!! I took the new RX from the Costco Optometrist along with my bad glasses to the Costco Optical desk.....they sent my frames back to the lab... AT NO CHARGE !!!!!!!!!...to be corrected :) I picked up the corrected glasses and they are Excellent!!! Subsequently I called LensCrafters to see if they would give me a refund or right the situation...No Refund :( Next time I'll just go to Costco. read more

This place has helped me more times than I can count. I am blind as a bat without glasses, and my lens loves to pop out of its frame. I can typically get it back in, but a couple times the wire holding the lens has broken. Everytime I've come here to get them fixed they've been super helpful and had my glasses ready within the hr for free. Today it happened again, Saminah and Kellie both helped me and I can finally see again!! They are super helpful and this is practically the only place I buy glasses now because I have the assurance I'll be helped when the inevitable happens. Totally recommend!! read more

George, their associate, stopped by, introduced himself and let me be when he noticed I just wanted to be left alone to peruse around the store. When I found a pair, I casually asked for pricing. George was helpful, insightful and kind. He didn't pressure any sales, looked for the best discount/deal possible for my purchase and made the transaction quick and painless. I went into LensCrafters this afternoon (12/4/22 at about 3:30) to purchase two new pairs of glasses. When I walked in there was one male customer service rep assisting a customer and two other female associates helping another single customer. When that customer left the store both of the female associates started carrying on laughing with each other in conversation. This went on for over 15 minutes despite the fact I was plainly looking at the display items. Nobody came over and asked if I needed any help or had questions. In the middle of this the male rep began helping another customer that walked in well after we were there. When I walked out I commented to my wife that I wasn't going to give them any business that they didn't earn. I could see the male associate looking at me when I said that but did nothing to try and get the other two who more interested in talking than doing their jobs to come over and help. We had an exceptional experience at LensCrafters. My friend referred me after we had a poor experience with a popular Encinitas optometrist. My 17 year old needed to transition to contacts and she was very nervous and resistant. I called LensCrafters and gave them the background story. Between Dr. Esfandiari and Kelly, they spent over two hours with her. They were supportive, patient and kind. She is now wearing her contacts and is thrilled. My family of five will now go to LensCrafters. I don't think I've had this kind of service in a very, very long time. They are exceptional and also have state of the art equipment. I like this LensCrafters a lot better than Oceanside office and the Optometrist here is pretty cool, young guy with a new family full of excitement although he did misspell my name I mean it's only on my insurance information he put ual rather than uel. It's cool cause the other guy caught the mistake and reprinted it I'm guessing they wouldn't have got paid by the insurance company they're probably like who is this they're not insured with us. They have a nice selection of glasses but I 100% of the time stick with Oakley cause that's just what I do so I gotta wait the two weeks it takes Oakley to fill the prescription but they come out looking amazing along with me looking amazing. I always get the protection plan just just in case my amazingness gets a scratch on them.
