This just isn't the place anymore. I got my eyes checked to make sure my vision didn't change and really wanted to get a nice frame for new glasses since I will be at my computer more often these days. I love that they have a large selection, but the pricing doesn't match the market. It was going to cost me $400 more at the store than another shop in town for the same thing, even with my insurance! That's outrageous. I also tried to have them just put new lenses (which would have been fully covered) in my glasses from two years ago and the associate told me they don't make my frame anymore. When I went home, not only did I find them on the Lens Crafters website, but called Cherry Creek and they carry them in the store. Really disappointed since I do love their selection. This will be my try on place, but not my purchase place moving forward. read more

Recently visited Lens Crafter as a walk in on a Saturday and I was welcomed in as soon as we got there and ended up ordering glasses and sunglasses with my prescription on them as well. I forgot the names of the lady and gentlemen that helped me but they were so nice and helped me out so much for being my first time there and also coming in as a walk in. I have been shopping around for glasses and this was by far my experience yet! Linda was very attentive through the whole experience. She was helpful, kind, and professional both over the phone and in person. This store has many options to choose from, and had more affordable options than most, if not all, the glasses stores I have been to this past month. They were most helpful with insurance. Went in for an appointment Friday with eye pain. Halfway through the appointment, the eye machine broke down and I was told I needed to reschedule. Ended up rescheduling the next Thursday with promise of compensation. Called Monday to confirm the appointment and compensation details as they were not clear. The manager Lindsay was an arrogant c*nt and said she was canceling my appointment and that I could go somewhere else and hung up in my face like a little girl. Called over ten times trying to get some corporate number or somebody higher to help since the manager cannot do her job, each time they answered and hung up on me like little kids. Finally answered after like the 12th time and just kept incoherently yelling about they were calling Westminster Police. For me calling and asking about my appointment?? Is it a crime to call a business? Ridiculous waste of time. The fat little receptionist and the old stinky coochie manager should be fired. read more

I get my glasses ordered to this store and it's always very seamless and quick. I recently lost a screw, and my glasses were unwearable for a few days. I couldn't repair it myself, but then I remembered the complimentary services at LensCrafters. This location's new Assistant Manager, Christian, was able to repair my glasses with ease. What a horrible experience. I'd give it zero stars if possible. Getting married and tried my fiancées eye dr. Very deceiving. They have a nice selection of frames. BUT when they took me to see the optometrist that part of the building looked like a empty warehouse. Very sterile. No signs, decor or even personnel. To top it off, not even an on site optometrist. It was a virtual visit. I was shocked when I was told I had cataracts and high eye pressure. Then my fiancee learned his Dr. left. No kidding?! I left also. From the call to get an eye appointment the associate was rude. They insulted us when we got to the store for the eye appointment by telling us that we didn't know what we were talking about with regards to our insurance provider. When we went in to pick up the glasses they gave use the wrong ones. In order to fix the "mix up" they wanted us to pay an additional $120 to upgrade to the frames to what we had originally chose. read more

My wife and I both needed glasses for first time and Michaela was awesome at helping us find frames and walking us through the process, getting measurements, etc. We got our eye exams elsewhere and couldn't find frames that seemed to work for us. We remembered seeing this LC location so we stopped in to check their frame selection. I was still having trouble finding something when Michaela asked if she could help. I told her what I was looking for and some specific fit issues I was running into. She came back quickly with 5-6 pair that absolutely met all of my needs. It was like having your hip friend pick something for you to try on that you never would have picked out on your own, but ends up being the perfect style and fit! I had cataract surgery and went into Lens Crafters, Walnut Creek, Broomfield, CO for a set of glasses. The woman who assisted me was named Chloé. She dressed professionally and had a great smile. She took care of me with ease and in very little time, which I appreciated. I loved her confidence and demeanor! She's a real asset to Lens Crafters! I received my new pair of glasses but I was having trouble seeing correctly and returned to my eye surgeon who did and exhaustive exam to conclude my eyes were in great shape but recommended an MRI. He also gave me a revised prescription. I went back to Lens Crafters and met Dillion, the manager. If there were ever a better manager on this planet I wouldn't believe it. Dillion was patient, informative and completely compliant. He effortlessly gave great customer service and took my problems seriously. One problem was a constant haziness on my lenses and particles constantly sticking to them. We determined it was the lens cleaner I got somewhere else but we went back and forth with other odd issues I had and he was very patient and reassured me that he was there to assure I got the best pair of glasses possible. I can't applaud Dillion enough. Not once did he rush the process or disregard my concerns or allow himself to be distracted. My eye problems still persist. My surgeon said he may have to give me a contact for the non surgical eye as the non surgical eye was near 20-20, best close up vision while the surgical eye was corrected for distance vision...I get a bizarre 3-D effect...! I just wanted to put this out there as Dillon and Chloé make Walnut Creek a top notch business. They gave me stellar customer service and in this day and age that is becoming rare! Thanks! read more

Pay heed to the warning signs and do not go to this place. Made an appointment online b.c the phone numbers listed on their websites were disconnected (first sign I should paid attention to). Tried to call 12x over 7 days to ask a question about insurance to no avail: line was busy or had a message saying this location was permanently closed. They called me the day before to confirm my app, and when I called the number they told me to call, it said they were closed permanently and to call a different number. That number was also wrong. So, I decided to show up to my app ten minutes early b.c I had a bad feeling about this business. Go figure. Their doors were locked w a sign saying to use the other door. Plot twist: there isn't another door! I walked around 3x and could only find a locked delivery door around back. I knocked on the door before walking to the front again to wave at the person sitting in there working. She wouldn't even look at me. Total circus with a bunch of clowns. Being casually dismissed by someone that cannot even take the time to stop and look at you is a sure fire way to guarantee I will not be back. I took in my RayBan prescription sunglasses because the lenses started popping out and the last time I took them in they said they were fixed and they were not. Now they tell me the screws are stripped and I just need to buy a new pair. I was also told that 4 years is a long time for them to last!?! So, apparently now RayBan makes garbage that is built to wear out in 4 years of mild use and good maintenance and Lenscrafters thinks that is great because they get to sell to you more often. My first time going to this location and it was a terrible one. I should've read the reviews prior. I came to ask about a return. Like the other reviews have said they were very dismissive, especially the "plus size" lady with darker hair. She was very unpleasant and not helpful at all so I left. I went to another location (120th in Thornton), they were super nice and helped with my return. I will not be coming back to this location. I ordered two pairs of progressive glasses (frames and lenses). The sunglasses so far seem good. Went to pick up my regular glasses today - they were the wrong frame. I was just handed the new glasses and that was it, not asked how they feel or anything. The manager - Tammy, I believe she said her name was - tried to put my new lenses in the correct frame taken right off the shelf. Michelle (who was my original salesperson) also tried. Michelle brought the glasses back to my smudged up and asked me how they were. I asked her to clean them, upon which another round of working on the glasses proceeded back in the lab and up front. Finally the manager came back to me. I requested new glasses and frames be made for me. She said, "It will be two weeks." I told her that was fine. Isn't that what should have been done in the first place? To watch them working on my glasses in various places in the store for 10 minutes was unsettling. To take a frame off the shelf and try to take my lenses out of the wrong frames was unsettling. Wondering now if I will get totally new glasses or not . . . Lesson learned on doing business here. Now, if only I could figure out the receipts that I have. Michelle is not very comfortable in ringing up sales; thankfully someone else was there the day I ordered them. Who knows what I paid for. Hoping I do get a whole new set of glasses. By the way, I've been waiting for over a half hour to speak to someone at Lenscrafters. Never again. read more

From my experience, LensCrafters just sucks and this store exemplifies that motto. Right now, I'm trying to submit a request in general to Lens Crafters to try to get my script, but can't. It apparently won't go through. I've done everything the website asks and have done that more than once. To discuss this particular location in Westminster/Broomfield, we were upsold on everything and left feeling our scripts were incorrect, too. We spent our yearly covered exam here, but we returned to the last place we got glasses (a bit further away) to get the scripts filled because they were honest and straight forward. We tried LensCrafters in Westminster because of better proximity, but poop with proximity can't compare with quality and a longer drive. Avoid this locale and avoid LensCrafters in general is my best advice!! LieCrafters seems to be a more accurate name! read more

I picked out ten pairs of frames and had such trouble deciding. Jemay picked out a frame I had not picked and they were perfect. She really listened to what I was looking for and was hinest about what did and did not work with my face. I was also able to get a fancy pair if sunglasses due to a sale. Very exciting to have nice sunglasses. I always settled for cheap ones. When I picked up my frames Jemay had a hand written thank you note. What awesome customer service and so knowledgeable. Went in store for new glasses on 9/13 and Richard the sales guy was totally rude. I told him I have gotten glasses here for years and never been treated as poorly as he had treated me. I picked out a pair of prescription sunglasses in person with a worker and left them to hold while I had my prescription sent over from my eye doctor. The worker told me they had all my information on file from a previous purchase. I waited 2 weeks after not hearing anything about my sunglasses to call and check on the progress. I was informed my glasses were being made and I would be called when they were ready to pick up. I waited another week and a half to call to check on the progress, only to be told that they have no record of me or my glasses! Very unprofessional. I could have ordered them through a different company for cheaper and had them by now. read more

I have to ask for minor details that used to be a given (receipt with itemized details). If I could give this place less than one star I would. I bought a pair of glasses for three times the amount I usually would here about last year October 18. It took a week to get, but once I did no one could adjust it to my face shape. Once i left the first visit the outsides were so icy i slipped and dislocated my left patellar, which i ended up getting surgery on for it. this is the same visit the manager had scratched the lenses and then ordered another pair, to which i was blind for two weeks to get another pair. Once i finally got them the manager adjusted again and couldn't figure it out, blamed it on a silicone allergy I've never had. So I went to another location, still could not adjust. After many attempts I gave up and readjusted my own for the past year, to which yesterday one of the nose pads snapped off. I called about the insurance and a possible new pair, apparently I was over the three week mark and the worker just seems intensely uncaring and unmotivated. Basically shot a "not my problem" then hung up. This place is beyond terrible with service and I've had glasses my whole life, updating them with a new place every year. I go to Dr. Smedley at LensCrafters. He is very professional and nice. Dr. Smedley found my cataracts and sent me to a Opthalmoligist for surgery. He has been my doctor for 5 years and I would highly recommend him. read more

Due to the need to get glasses quickly before a vacation, we took our children to Lenscrafters for an exam by Dr John Molinario. His impersonal approach made us feel like just another number, and his very rude and impatient handling of the children's exams was enough to make me tell him, "they are just kids." He was trying to get eye drops in our child's eyes by telling her to basically just do it, he had other patients to get to! While my intercession did seem to soften his approach, we will never be going back to him and do not recommend Dr Molinario for pediatric exams whatsoever. Once we had the prescriptions (which he did not seem to be sure on and asked for my input before writing the script?!?!?!), the technicians were trying to upsell us on too many "features" that we said forget it, we are going elsewhere. read more
