I have had a mixed experience with LensCrafters. I bought some new lens and frames and was promised 7 to 10 business day turnaround. The purchase date was March 25 which, as of the date of this review, is almost a month. Today, I went back to the store which is the fourth time to find out where my glasses are. The three previous trips I was told they "are in transit". I also discovered they went to a lab in Mexico which they were encouraged to use. Today, I was informed they were out for delivery and had been shipped the 20th, yesterday. The delivery could be affected by customs. My concerns are: 1- Being told three times previously they were in transit when they had not yet been sent. 2- why wasn't I told they were being assembled in Mexico which could delay arrival? 3- why utilize Mexico when it takes longer especially considering processing through customs? 4- why wasn't the store monitoring the fulfillment instead of my going to the store 4 times and getting false information? read more

Worst lenscrafters location ive ever been to. Staff is rude and disrespectful and dismissive. If I call to schedule an appointment or check to see if my prescription is ready, they always leave me on hold for 10-15 minutes. The company must not be treating their staff very well if everyone has an attitude all the time. I've never met anymore unwelcoming group of people. And the selection of glasses is mid. God help you if you have to make a return or exchange because they will treat you like garbage. And if you request to have no coatings including in your lenses, they will ALWAYS put coating regardless of what you request and will charge you for it. I was in Atlanta for this previous weekend on family business. During one of our events, my lens popped out of my glasses which I had just purchased in January of this year. I did an online search and found that there was a Lenscrafters close to where I was staying so I went there to see if I could get my glasses repaired. I was expecting to have to pay for the repairs since I did not buy the glasses at their store. I met the salesman there, I believe his name is Matthew, and I received the best customer service from him even after I said that I purchased my glasses elsewhere. He immediately went to work on repairing my glasses and kept me informed throughout the entire procedure. He even mentioned that they do this service at no charge even after I mentioned that I had expected to pay. I highly recommend this Lenscrafters store to anyone in the Tucker, GA area, and make sure you ask for Matthew! read more

Beautiful new store with a huge selection. The sales person managed to find a specific set of frames in an obscure bin within the store. She helped to make a final selection and explained the differences in the measurements of the frames, etc. It was also very easy to schedule an eye exam while inside the store, and they had appointments the next day. read more

I had a really good experience at this LensCrafters location! I can here for my annual eye exam and glasses. Scheduling an appointment was easy, i did it online, when i arrived they We're busy but i was still seen right away. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable and the doctor was also provided me with additional information and answered my questions. My experience with the doctor here was great the last time I came. However, the front office staff was incredibly unprofessional this time around. Upon my arrival, they barely addressed me, just casually instructing me to take my contacts out. Then, instead of checking me in, all four employees sat while one shared a story from the previous evening. Only when the story was done and everyone got to make their jokes did the storyteller ask if I had insurance, which they apparently don't take anymore. There's no reason to have a patient wait for 5 minutes for you to finish a story. There was paperwork for me to do - give it to me while you share! Keep some of your personal stories a little more private from the patients. read more

Popped in really fast for a quick frames adjustment. My glasses were one side clapping giving me a professorial disheveled look. Upon arriving, I was greeted and seated within 30 seconds. I also left a review under Dr Warstadt's name, but just in case: I visited the eye doctor here and had a great experience. Great as far as visiting a doctor, at least. Service was reasonably quick, the staff was really helpful, and Dr Healey was great. I was even sad when they said they didn't need to see me for another year. If all doctors were this pleasant I might visit them more often! That said, the selection of glasses on site was pretty subpar, to me. Everyone knows about Zenni and Coastal these days, so I can't understand selling $300 DKNY frames. I'm stingy, though. I wanted a pair of glasses in an hour but they said they didn't have the lenses I need in stock, AND I couldn't find any glasses for under $150 anyway. My eyes were dilated so maybe I just couldn't read... ha. Anyway, come for the doctor but order your glasses online like a normal person is the lesson here. read more

I didn't get a pair of glasses from here, because even the cheapest pair was $300 plus with insurance. The selection seemed nice though. However, Wex (shortened version of his last name) has to have the best customer service on earth. He was so nice it was annoying. It was like I was in a movie. Came in for a fast pair of glasses since mine had broken and I can't see very far without them. I needed them fast since I was going out of town the next day. Wex was absolutely wonderful to deal with. He was very careful about saying that they might not have the lenses that I needed but he checked and they did so I picked out a frame. He said the lab was pretty busy but that they would get the glasses done that evening. Well, the lab messed up one of the lenses not once but twice. However, Wex went out of his way to go to one of the other stores early Friday morning to get the lens and the lab called and said that the glasses were ready by when I needed to pick them up. It could have been a catstrophe, but Wex saved the day. read more

My only mission was to get out of there with new glasses this morning. Mission accomplished. I found frames I liked, and the people were helpful. More importantly though, I REALLY liked Dr. Warstadt, the doctor in the side office where you can get a prescription exam. $85 for the exam which seems reasonable, and most importantly my prescription is laser accurate, and Dr. Warstadt is EXTREMELY competent. I would thoroughly recommend this place just for him alone. Good job, LensCrafters. read more

I had a truly delightful experience at this location. Everybody from the front desk staff to the doctor and the really nice lady who helped me with glass fitting was friendly, professional and helpful. I am buying contact lenses after a long time, so I had a lot of questions and my doctor was really patient with me and went over all the queries and concerns that I had about the lenses of my choice ( price and quality). I was really pressed for time and they were happy to work along with me and and I out of there in a giffy with not one but two brand new pair of trial contact lenses and will be going back there in less than an hour to get my brand new glasses. What I truly liked about them was that they listened to my needs and did not push me to buy or add anything superfluous or excessive with my order. My only qualm is their frame price ( but it might be true for any lens crafter ). I wanted to keep it within $150 and it was really difficult to find anything stylish within that budget. Finally found one from their clearance selection ( which is pretty big) that I liked. I would highly recommend this store and will be back next year for another set of contact lenses and eye glasses. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. First off, the lady seeing me kept calling me "Miss" even though I'm obviously a man. Then she started trying to pick my glasses out for me. This is of course fine, but she got really pushy with it. I told them to not put any special treatments or coatings on my lenses. They said I would get them in about a week. 14 days later, I called them asking where my glasses were. Apparently the woman who was seeing me put an extra treatment on them WITHOUT asking me. Now I'm having to pay extra for something I didn't want. And to top it off, they still weren't there! As I'm writing this, it's been 16 days and I still don't have them. I would avoid this place like the plague, unless you want to deal with complete idiots. read more

I came here about a month ago to get some emergency glasses and it was the most relieving experience ever all thanks to Wex!! What a circus this place is. They couldn't get my insurance information the evening I went in, so they gave me coupon discounts to supposedly put me in the realm of what they guessed my cost would be with insurance. I was buying 2 pair of eyeglasses. The first pair they told me had to be special ordered - give a week to 10 days. They couldn't get the lens order for the other pair into the system. Tried 6 different times. Told me they would figure it out the next day and would let me pay over the phone so the order could then be placed without me having to come in again. Told me the glasses would be done same day. The next morning they called me and took my credit card information because they "got it figured out" and the glasses would be ready that day. I went in that evening and was told nope - the lenses were special order. No one bothered to call me and let me know. They spent a half hour looking for my order before they were able to tell me this. Really poor customer service. I don't think they have a handle on their operations here. I wonder if I will actually get either pair of glasses.....On the other hand, I love Dr. Warstadt, who does eye exams in their facility. I and a coworker have used him for many years. read more
