I walked in late on a Tuesday and they were cleaning g up, ordered a small roast beef sandwich on wheat. I can not believe one place can screw up a sandwich order to this level. 5 sandwiches not a single one was right. Mayo where no mayo asked for. Pickles on wrong sandwich. Employee was at computer to take order and did not greet or even ask for our order- we had to initiate all orders. The 1st thing I noticed as we walked in was the satanic show on the television. One of the other employees noticed it later, mentioned it to the other employee. I asked her to change it to family friendly show and she did without any question. A man walked in reeking of weed, of which we realized he was the cook later. 2 of 5 sandwiches had the wrong bread. 1 of 5 sandwiches had a hair. I normally love Lenny's. I have been to several locations in this area but, today I decided to try the Olive Branch #30 location and I couldn't have been more disappointed. I ordered a turkey sub which was subpar. The meat was sliced thicker than at any of the other locations. It was piled on generously but, the large portion of meat was bland and flavorless and overpowered the more flavorful condiments. The cheesesteak I ordered for my wife was a huge disappointment. Instead of grilling the meat and veggies and melting the cheese on the grill, it appears that they toasted the bun and melted the cheese on the bun then placed the meat and veggies inside. I have never seen anyone make a cheesesteak this way and it was a horrible dry mess that was inedible. I have never thrown away subs from any Lenny's location particularly their normally excellent cheesesteaks but, these ended up in the trash after a few bites. This is the only Lenny's in the area where I have had a bad experience. There are other locations close by. I will be taking my business to those locations in the future. Ordered curbside. Sat outside and waited 15 minutes after they said it would be ready. Called the curbside number on the window... nothing. Finally went in and guess what.. there sat our food. They said the number on the window was wrong and just hadn't been updated. So much for curbside service. Our food was wrong. My salad that was $8.50 didn't even fill the bowl. Absolutely ridiculous. I'd say this is average, but consider that I grew up in NJ where nearly every sub shop offers a Philly cheese steak, which means this is high praise indeed. Service was a little spotty, dunno if the girl was new or having an off day, but my order was input wrong at first, and we weren't given our cups until we asked for them, but all minor problems. As to the sandwich, it was good, but nothing that makes it stand out. Well, the fact that it was well made and not greasy is an improvement over some chains (*coughpennstationcough*), but there was nothing notable about it, it was just a good cheese steak. If the Memphis area is the kind of place where the only cheese steaks are from chains like Subway, then you'll likely love it, and it's prolly the best cheese steak in the area. Perhaps when I return next labor day, I'll see what else is out there. read more

On 7-9-21 I went to Lenny's online ordering portal and put in an order. The order was approximately 32.00. I pressed submit after entering my CC information and a small box popped up and said something to the effect of "your order didn't process"...not sure of exact words, I clicked through. Before I could even try to submit a second time my online banking app hit me with two notifications. I had been charged twice. How is that possible? I submitted once, was charged twice. Here's the kicker. I called the location, as directed by the contact us function and I encountered a kid named Drake who proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do that was a corporate issue. He also said he had no record of my order. To summarize: I used Lenny's system. I trusted Lenny's system with my CC info. I was charged TWICE, but I still get NOTHING because he doesn't have my order. There's NO ONE who can handle my issue tonight so I'm left here having to go somewhere else to buy my family dinner, and I guess I'm damn lucky I have enough money to do so because LENNY'S can't be bothered to have someone who can ameliorate my situation in place, and doesn't even have an onsite Manager to give me at least a MODICUM of customer service. I've lived my life in customer service, at all levels. I've never seen a more horrible situation than this. We are talking about a company just taking double what I tried to spend, then STILL not having the decency to at least let me get my order that I originally ordered. WTF? Really? Ever hear of letting me show you my bank information, then letting me at least get my food....then refunding me for just ONE transaction? I tried, but that was too much work. The food comp would have cost a bare minimum amount compared to the fact that I will never eat Lenny's again. There are too many options....I'll miss the great food, and I'm obviously angry right now. Like - why was the website not taken down? "DRAKE" told me whoever he called said that the system was messed up because of the storm. The STORM ENDED HOURS AGO. FIX IT. At the end of the day, I know I'll get my money back, either through LENNY'S customer "service" resolution or a chargeback from my bank....but I'm hungry, and Lenny's brand goodwill has taken a hit with me. I don't know why I've wasted so much time with this. I know systems fail, but this is a case for having no way to fix an obviously egregious situation. Customer service? Indeed. I love Lenny's and eat at the Collierville location a lot. But this Lenny's service was terrible the only time I went in Olive Branch. It started poorly when we walked in and waited at the register for someone to take my order for 10 minutes. I finally asked one of the workers if that was the right register and she said it was. 5 minutes later they look my order. We sit down to wait for our order and after 20 minutes I got restless. At this point, a man who had called in his order an hour ago didn't have his order. An hour for a sandwich!!! He was furious and so were the 10 people behind him. They weren't busy but they were so slow they looked like they were. Another 20 minutes later we got our food and left with our 2 sandwiches and way too much anger about sandwiches. I'll go back and hopefully the service will be better and I can add a good review. Only good thing about the visit was our food was decent that is why it got 2 stars. read more

Came to this place highly recommended. Food was very fresh, very fast, but I thought lacking in flavor. Not like it was poor quality, or cooked bad, just bland. Ticket #72 I placed an online order through lennys.com to pick up at this location. My order included four sandwich combos (chips & drinks) and four cookies. This was my first time doing an online order. The online ordering process asks you to specify exactly what chips, drinks, and cookies you want. When I picked up my order, I was given four empty cups and a bag which I assumed contained all of what I had ordered. When I arrived home, I discovered there were no chips or cookies in the bag. I returned to the store where I spoke with an employee and the manager, neither of which offered an apology for not giving me what I had ordered. They expected me, a first-time customer, to automatically know I was supposed to get my own chips and cookies, when the website ordering process says NOTHING about that. I enjoy the occasional sub from Lenny's but this location was by far my worst experience. Customer service is below par with a very uninterested atmosphere. That's the least of my concern as long as the food is good, but that's where I made the decision to write this review. I might mention I'm not a very picky eater. However, the meat on my Italian was old and smelled of it as well. I could barely take 3 bites before giving up and throwing it in the trash. It later made me sick to my stomach and could barely hold it down. On the other hand, I've had a philly there and it was perfect. Very slow service, It took the girl who was making my 5" sub 14 minutes to make my sandwich, because she was too busy walking back and forth beside the young man who was waiting on a customer. Then when she finally got done, she felt the need to show off to the same guy she was trying to be cute around while holding my sandwich, so i finally said does it take almost 15 minutes to make a sandwich, she stopped playing then. The limited amount of meat in the sandwiches is ridiculous. I actually complained and was told the prices went down and so did the size and contents.
