The fruit garden was our favorite. Their tier consisted of berries, plate of desserts and a tier of sandwiches. Also served is a basket of scones along with a platter of deviled eggs. The deviled eggs and the curry chicken sandwhich were my favorite but all the sandwiches were pretty good. Price is a bit high compared to other afternoon teas but we were here for a special occasion. Staff was very nice. She would come and check on us or if we needed something and knocked was very responsive.

The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There were no other guests, so we had the whole floor to ourselves. It was super quiet and peaceful. I imagine it would be different if there was a house full guests. Jim gave us suggestions on things we could do and places to visit. He also gave us the code for the door, the wifi password, and warnings about bears. We opted to walk around the area and enjoyed a fantastic dinner at The Perch restaurant just a few minutes walk down the road. Coffee was available at 8 the next morning, Adriana made breakfast ready by 830am. We had eggs in hash brown cups, sausages, maple scones, toast with a variety of spreads, and fresh orange juice. Everything was delicious. Sorry I didn't take pictures, I was too busy eating! I was able to eat everything on the table. I had mentioned our list of food allergies upon reserving online and also emailed the list closer to the date. The communication was excellent. I would love to stay at Old Bear B n B again. There is also a side and back patio that has the barbecue grill and a water fountain. Aside from rooms in the main house, there are also two guest houses that has been turned in to cabins.

I asked for something simple and she went above and beyond to make things easier that I could've ever expected them to be.
