This is the best local bar in Port Washington and it has had that status in the past, now, and forever. Open 7 days a week until 4am and has a pool table & jukebox. The current staff consists of Ross, Mikey, Iryna, Lorna, and the owner Barbara; they are all the best. And if anyone has a problem with them then they're actually the problem because I've been drinking in bars my entire life all over the US and internationally and I've never had a problem with ANYONE working at Lennon's Pub. It's straight up the ultimate local Irish pub with a pool table. It's been that way since 1975. I came here one Wednesday night for karaoke with my friends. My ex-boyfriend is a pedophile and I have a 7 year old son and they let my ex-boyfriend go to karaoke at canz so I have to stay away from that spot. Luckily my best KJ friend Dave will have a new Wednesday show soon that I can go to. Anyway so my friends who are the sweetest, who wanted desperately to go to canz but could not because of my situation agreed to try out Lennon's pub in their home town for karaoke that night. I wasn't overly impressed with the karaoke scene compared to others I've been to. The bar itself was okay. They don't serve food but they will put out a plate of snacks for you and the bartender we dealt with that night was very generous in refilling the snacks for my two friends. They will also allow you to order food in which is nice. Overall it's an okay scene it just wasn't lively enough for my liking. Maybe I went on an off night. read more

Do not even think of coming to this stupid Janky bar you guys...don't go to Lennon's pub!!! I've been there many many times as I grew up down the street from it. I've had some bad experiences but this latest visit last night was the final straw... the bartender was horribly rude and treated me like crap and I am an Indian (dark skinned) local of 20+ years who has come here many many many many times!!! Imagine how they'll treat you!! Oh I guess if you have white skin maybe okay.... I'm almost in tears after leaving...that Irish bartender is such a stupid jerk!!! To be slightly more specific when the bartender was outside smoking a cigarette and I was playing pool I went outside and told him "hey take your time but when you come back in could you bring me another cider please " and his verbatim reply was "I will absolutely take my time" and then when he came in he did not bring me anything.. then I finished my game and went to the bar to ask for my drink and ask what's up and he said "no I'm not giving it to you because you're f**** annoying" lol... what a childish little foul mouth so and so... I'm pretty sure he was drunk but who knows maybe he's just a nasty bad person... If the owner is reading this I truly hope your bar goes out of business and makes room for a place thats actually nice to go to and reflects well on this town instead of this embarrassment. At very least fire that Irish bartender because he made a scene last night with his rude behavior. Lennon's has somehow been an institution in port Washington as far back as I can remember. I know nothing about who owns or runs it but it makes no sense to me why it still exists in 2021. It often reeks of piss and the vibe is sad middle aged alcoholic (coming from a youngish alky). I really think it's time for them to go extinct and make room for literally anything else will be better... Should I start a petition? I truly believe no one will miss it especially not people who live right down the block (me). Somehow, this was my first time at Lennon's, but it seems to be one of the more popular townie bars for twenty-somethings to go out & meet up when they're back home from college or the holidays or both. Christmas night was no exception, & the joint was pretty crowded. $5 Bud bottles. Big gaudy internet jukebox. Pool table. It wasn't memorable in any sense, but also wasn't unpleasant in the least.
