She not only hemmed my dress perfectly and added delicate beading, but she also completely transformed the back by designing a stunning corset and a beaded clasp at the top of the dress that matched seamlessly with the original details of the gown. She also added more beading at the front as I wasn't a fan of cleavage. Back story: I was originally supposed to wear the dress in 2020 for a Disney wedding. However, we all know what happened in 2020. We decided we would do a 5 year vow renewal but when the time came and two children later... I no longer fit into the original dress. I still loved the dress and wanted to make it work so I decided to see Christy and see if alterations could be made so I could wear it! At first I was hesitant of the pricing as the alterations were more than the dress itself. However, you're paying for the quality of the work. I had alterations made in 2019 and they weren't to Christy's standard. She actually spent time fixing those alterations as measurements were off. Her eye for detail and craftsmanship are unmatched--everything looked like it had always been part of the dress. Thanks to her, my gown fit like a dream and felt uniquely mine. I received so many compliments, and I truly felt beautiful on my wedding day.
