Had an oil leak so took it to them. paid $2k for repair. 3 months later, still has oil leak. look under hood- didn't use factory gasket- instead used rtv and refused to fix. worst service ever. read more

Has to have the worst customer service and sales people I have ever seen or dealt with. Called about a truck and they sent me over a purchase order that was listing the truck for more than they had it posted for online. Then the manager called me and told me he would have the general manager called me which never happened. I tried for about two weeks to get through to somebody to make a deal on a vehicle and then I get a phone call from the manager saying that the general manager Steve, who refuses to give me the time of day to speak to me and does not want to do his job would rather sit on a vehicle for eight months than to make an actual deal. The manager Mario is extremely rude, and tried to tell me that I can't afford to buy the truck I am looking at. When I specifically stated I can come and purchase a truck in cash or finance whatever would be easier and better for them. What a joke of a dealership the owner should definitely go down and teach the sales team how to put together a deal especially on a vehicle he's paying for for eight months on his lot read more

I recently had a recall repair on my vehicle that i purchased from Len Stoler in February 2025. On the positive side - the service department was able to get me scheduled very quickly and the shuttle service was convenient. On the negative side - since I was close to needing an oil change and tire rotation I decided to have that done also to save me some time (I usually use a local mechanic). Total bill for oil change and tire rotation was $132 (and this was with using a $20 off coupon!) Never again will I have that done at a dealership. Ridiculous price! read more

Worst car dealer experience in my 45 years of buying cars. I initially inquired about a used car via Carguru and then spoke to a salesperson. Some days later I received a couple texts asking if I was still interested. I responded that I was and needed photos of the car as there were none on Carguru for weeks. The salesperson said the car was not inspected yet and that is why there are no posted photos....really? I then called back on another day and said that I wanted to make an appointment to see and possible purchase the car. I was told that my salesperson was off that day and I needed to make an appointment for the following day when my salesman would be in. I made the appointment for 8/6/2025 for 10-11 am. I received a couple confirmation calls from the dealer saying they will have the car all ready and parked at the front door. I drove 1 hour and thirty minutes to the dealership with a checkbook in hand and a low milage late model Mercedes Benz for a trade in. The car looked good and I asked to take a test drive when the salesperson said that the car still was not inspected so I could not test drive the car. Neither the employee confirmation callers or the salesperson had the common courtesy to call me and say I cannot test drive the car. They knew I was 90 minutes away. This was an absolute failure on all involved Len Stoler employees. The salesrep did not even ask us to wait and then go inside to see what could be done. He just said "I told you days ago that it was not inspected" So why didnt he call and postpone the appointment? Last time I checked If I had a ready willing and able customer with an appointment and I needed an inspection done ASAP, then I would have told my sales manager to help out here. Set up an appointment to look at a used C8 Corvette with the Corvette specialist John Ray. Arrived for the appointment on time and attentive salesman said John was handling something unexpected and apologized. 20 minutes later John comes out and is clearly not in a good mood. He gets the keys. I have already done my research, so I dont have questions and ask to take the car for a test drive. He asks if I'm buying today and when I tell him not this day but ready to buy over the holiday weekend, he tells me he doesn't allow test drives unless the I'm buying today. Walked out. I've bought several cars from other Len Stoler dealership and had a good experience. Surprised to get such attitude for a car that is less than most trucks on the lot at 60k. He has no idea of how serious of a buyer I was from that interaction, and even if i was ready to buy today, that attitude alone would have sent me out. Hoped back into my 911 and drove off. Never got treated like this at the Porsche dealer - guess I'll just go back to them. read more

Terrible experience. The vehicle I inquired about, test drove, etc. and ended up purchasing, was supposed to have been inspected and ready to go upon arrival. It was not. I had to come back to have them fix the seat belt clip in the back seat. (I live far, too). It is impossible to get a hold of anyone...do not use the chat or text feature, you won't hear back. This took longer than it should have because of this. Then..just FOUR months after purchasing, the vehicle starts driving funny and I take it in to a Ford Dealership (it's a Ford Escape I bought through them with the after market warranty), they needed to replace the transmission. There is no way that in 4 months, about 7,000 miles would I have caused damage to the transmission. It's not all covered, so I am stuck paying $2500 out of pocket. I have been trying to get a hold of a manager to speak with to try to resolve this grievance because I do not believe I should be responsible for this much as I do not believe a full inspection was completed prior to purchasing. I tried contacting, they put me in touch with sales and said "I heard you want to purchase a new vehicle from us!" I corrected them and then they sent me to the service department. They called and never left a message, never sent an email. I figured out on my own it was the service department and again not management. This dealership is AWFUL. Oh and they did not send me home with my tags as they were supposed to be transferred over and it took a month to get everything straightened out so I could go to the MVA and get new ones. I have bought over 23 cars in my time and this dealership has got to be the worst one ever. Started with an online inquiry, Emily from online sale responded quick. Then it all went to hell. Could not put a deposit on it, had to be there in person. Bought one in SC over the phone and had it delivered to VA...they don't do that. Then dealt with Jeff P. for about 6 hours of phone tag, and ever question I had I had to call him. Then they tried the "market adjustment " extra 3000 dollars. Nope! So finally got to an agreed price after 6 hours, for Jeff P to say I have someone coming in to look and if it doesn't sell I'll let you know. So I said I'm ready to buy it, what do you need? I finally was able to pick up my car from Len Stoler a month ago. Big shocker the repairs were not all made and the gash in the door that was promised to be repaired before I even purchased the car was not completed. I was given a form with the agreement that Len Stoler was responsible for repairing the door and that they would call to schedule when they could figure out a time. I was asked to take my last review down which I had no issue doing once my car was fully completed. It has been communicated several of times from Len Stoler that the repairs will take 24 hours to repair (24 hours for paint to dry). I dropped off my car on Monday as discussed with Ray and clarified several of times I would be there Wednesday evening to pick up my car. Knowing how Len Stoler works I made sure to call a few times Tuesday to confirm they had not forgotten about my car again and that it was actually being worked on. After being transferred around from employee to employee I was told from Nate that my car was being worked on and would even by ready by the end of the day Tuesday. It was confirmed by two separate employees that my car was being worked on and ready. There was confusion on what was being repaired and it was clarified it was the initial damage to be repaired on the door. I informed Nate I would be by Wednesday night since I was told it takes 24 hours for the paint to dry, since that was the only night I was able to take time off of work (again) to pick up my car. I know he worries about miles being racked up on his potential sales. It is now Wednesday and I have received notification that there was confusion and my car will not be ready today (even though this was clarified with Nate on Tuesday since he stated the car would be fine to drive Tuesday night for pickup it just can not be washed). I have decided to pick up my car regardless of the repairs, this is extremely frustrating with this being my 6th trip out there (I live an hour away). It has been expressed by Len Stoler that things are behind with COVID which I completely understand but I have been very clear about the issue being miscommunication and unrealistic timelines because the amount of time, money, time taken off of work and gas I have wasted to try to meet Len Stoler halfway each time they haven't had my car ready. Len Stoler's favorite line seems to be "that is not my department, I have no control over it" rather than communicating to resolve the issues. Now I'm left with the only option of picking up my car with the repairs still not being completed for pre-existing damages. read more

We bought a used Honda Civic. The salesman was very easy going, and we didn't feel pressured to buy in any way. When we arrived the car was ready to test-drive, and the dealership was clean and comfortable. After the sale our car did have a few problems appear but we feel like they were items not easy to catch with an inspection. The headlight switch was touchy and wouldn't always stay on and the air/defrost/vent controls would not always switch to a different mode. The dealer did repair the issues and the general manager made it clear that he wanted us to be happy after the sale. They even provided a loaner car as we had to wait for parts to arrive. Overall I would recommend this dealer and will likely return for our next vehicle purchase. This was our second purchase from them, the first vehicle was flawless and is really lasting a long time. Let me start with my history. My father was a technician, salesman, GSM, and GM during my childhood. I worked at 3 dealerships as well. I was a lot attendant, technician, and then Service Advisor. My husband was a technician. I know accidents happen. When I took my Cadillac Escalade to Len Stoler the first time after purchase I spent $1400 to fix the AC. I was 8 months pregnant and was not worried about the cost because it's much easier to pay someone else to do it. I knew our son and newborn daughter needed AC. When I got the vehicle back the bumper was not put back on completely straight. I know how it can be, so I didn't complain. We can adjust it ourselves. I just picked up my vehicle from the second service repair completed (warranty repair). The technician left a dirty handprint on the driver's rear door, a scratch with a grease spot on the driver's door (pocket knife level and down to the paint), and greasy boot prints on the running board (least of my worries). When my husband addressed the GSM he was kicked out because he was cussing and extremely pissed off. We left the vehicle over Labor Day Weekend and returned today. My husband spoke to the Service Manager. She stated that there's no proof the technician did it. She insulted us stating that the vehicle is 'filthy' outside and inside. I have a 2 year old and a 2 month old. Yes, there are goldfish on the floor, dog hair, and some strands of grass. But, that doesn't give you the right to damage my vehicle. Accidents happen. Take responsibility and make the repair. Their 'fix' was to give us a stick of touch up paint and a 'hand wash'. Which looks like they used a mud puddle to do. The Service Manager made some very ignorant comments and refused to make the situation right. I am so very disappointed in the lack of respect to my vehicle as well as my person. Yes, I bought it used. And yes, it came with dings and scratches. But, not the one that your technician made from his carelessness. When I went inside of the service area to retrieve my keys (which were both left in the vehicle unlocked without permission), there was a technician standing there who had a pocket knife in the right pocket. This to me clearly indicates that I was correct in how it happened. I highly recommend if you drop of your vehicle do not sign your repair order until you walk around the vehicle with your service advisor and notate EVERY scratch etc. I am not a liar and I am disgusted that someone in the service manager position would degrade a person and wrongly accuse them of lying. I hope this review helps future customers as I was extremely disappointed in my choice to use Len Stoler Chevrolet. Which was always not recommended by my fellow car business affiliates. I should have listened to the people who advised me not to use this dealership. May the repair they completed not be as shady and reckless as the care for my vehicle. PS - She specifically told us to 'be careful' going to social media because Big Brother GM is watching and they won't help us if we need something. read more

Bad business practices, tell you one thing on the phone, when you arrive, passes you to another sales agent that is a real @$$ , sales manager told me he would sell a vehicle to me for a set price that wasn't great to start off with, when I left and came back 30 minutes later they increased the price by $300 and told me " you thought you heard me say that price, you heard the price you wanted to hear but I didn't" , I walked away from a 34,000 deal over 300 bucks on principle ... Zero stars. This is a Len Stoler rating and a Chevy rating. 2019 Chevy Traverse with 40k miles. Suddenly VERY loud noise coming from the exhaust, so loud it was embarrassing to drive. Relative in another state who is a mechanic shares there is a known bulletin about the issue with the exhaust. Out of warranty by 4K it's not covered and we are faced with a $400 bill to replace piping in the exhaust. 40k miles really? Had a Lexus with 245k and never did anything outside breaks and tires. Trading this truck in and going back to Lexus or Toyota where we get the return. Service advisor actually said "We don't build them we just repair them". Seriously!!! Way to represent your brand. I'm going back to foreign and it won't be at the Len Stoler dealers. read more

I went in to the used dealer ship back in March with a large check to buy a vehicle. The used side of this business the guys where Amazing. Let me get into what is really causing this 2 start review. I had to go to the new side of the dealership where I had to sign all my paper work for the loan company to purchase my truck. Come April my first car payment was due and I still had not received any type of communication not only from the Bank my Loan is through but also the dealership to let me know there was an issue. I followed up with the financial advisors about the problem and I found out my paper work "fell through the cracks." So this ment i have NO hard tags or my financial paper work from the bank. Well it's now May 1 week out from my tags dying and still no answer as to why I've not received anything. I went in and followed up and still waiting for an answer. I will NEVER go through this dealership agian. Very poor lack of communication with their customers buying from them. Lack of any urgency to make the situation right. The Manager is very nice and he does try to rectify the issue but that doesnt help with the real problem at hand. read more

My Chevy Trail Blazer has never been the same after they took 5 months returned the car to me first time it broke down on the way home. They replaced an exhaust manifold and the mechanic's were clueless. I warn anyone to avoid this dealership. They are unscrupulous, don't care about they're customers and shouldn't be in business. Please read and share!!!! In 2012 I bought a brand new Chevy Cruze from Len Stoler Chevrolet. Ever since that day my car has been in there for warranty repairs or recalls. Recently I took my car in and told them that it lost power and was making a ticking noise. They asked me if the check engine light was on and I told them know I continue to bring my car in. They told me they couldn't find a problem. Approximately 2 Days Later the check engine light comes on in my car still has no power and is still ticking. so the mechanic or as I like to call them plug and play's fix the problem as he claims. The car is still ticking when I pick it up and I'm told that the tire is making that noise. One week later my ticking noise gets louder and the check engine light comes on again. I lose power to the car again. This time they fix the problem but my car is now out of warranty and so we pay them $280 to replace a sensor that the Plug and Play said it needed. now my car is still ticking and it's getting louder. this noise at supposedly coming from my tire only happens when I start the car and the car is not driving so we know that is not coming from the tire. Will the car loses power for the third time. And I take it back to Len Stoler with the check engine light on and now they tell me that my cylinder 2 & 3 are losing compression. now they want to charge me $3,400 to fix it or $6,400 for a new engine. I'm putting my business out there so everyone knows not to go to Len Stoler Chevrolet. I've had a phone call in to GM Headquarters to try to get some assistance. I explain to them that my car has less than 80000 miles on it when this problem started happening while it was under warranty. do you know Len Stoler had the nerve to ask me for receipts for all my oil changes because I didn't take it to them for oil changes. They're trying to blame this on the owner. I find it degrading that I can tell them my car has a problem and they don't believe me yet they want my oil change receipts. there was a time I drove my car up there and told them that my brakes were malfunctioning. they could not find the problem and told me my brakes were fine and sent me home. guess what came in the mail not too long after that. A recall on some parts for the brakes. guess who took her car back up again and said I told you there was a problem with my brakes here's my recall. now my car is also been recalled because of the engine coolant. Now I'm reading in documentation that the Chevy Cruzes who have had engine coolant recalls have also had engines that have malfunctioned. yet the dealership is still trying to blame me for not changing my oil. I'm waiting to see how the dealership and GM Headquarters is going to solve my problem with my five-year-old vehicle who has been serviced and maintained by one of their approved dealerships for every warranty issue and every recall issue. What I also found out is that the Chevy Cruzes have had 935 defects. I repeat 935 defects. How is this my problem? read more

I bought a new car from them 4 months ago. Its been back 5 time for a vibration. They replaced 2 tires and it got better but its still vibrating a little. Service manager is NOT really willing to help. I had to contact GM now they are sending in an engineer. I still feel GM is siding with the dealer because their last diagnosis was "car operates as designed". I have driven other Impalas (friends and family) and they ride real nice. My car now sits in the garage because I can't drive it. I hope I don't have to go Lemon Law on this because its a beautiful car. I would not recommend their service deptartment now. This review pertains to the used car side of Len Stoler. I'd rate this place between a 2 and 3. Normally I'd round up, but there were so many things that I couldn't justify a three. First off, the people are extremely nice. Ray, the sales manager, was one of the few people who sent me line by line pricing for the car we were interested in. And guess what...it was spot on! Nice not to have unexpected surprises during the buying process. We spent an entire day looking at cars. This was the only place where they were willing to let us visit other dealers without giving us a hassle for not buying that day. It definitely says something about them and the faith in their product. There is definite room for improvement: The gas tank was about half full. If we would have bought the car the first time, I wouldn't have minded. But when they knew we were coming to buy it, it would have been a nice courtesy to fill it up before we arrived. Our salesman was not on the property when we arrived to pick up the car, even though we called in advance to let him know we were coming. When looking at the car, I noticed the coolant level was dangerously low in the overflow container. This could have caused major issues with the engine overheating, resulting in a costly repair. It would have taken 2 seconds to fill it up before we arrived. They did fill it up before we left, but I fear what would have happened had I not checked. We were given a 30 day warranty in case any issues arose. The low coolant fluid was bothering me because you're not supposed to randomly lose fluid. I saw a drip coming from underneath the car less than a week after buying it, so I contacted them and asked what they could do about it. They said we could bring it in to have it checked out, but odds are that they wouldn't cover it. What good is a warranty that doesn't fix issues? I changed the cabin air filter a week after buying it, thinking it might be about time. to my surprise, THERE WAS NO AIR FILTER IN THE CAR!!! Typically it is something replaced with an oil change (which happened at Len Stoler), so clearly no one even looked to check on the state of it. FYI- It only takes about a minute to check. Plus, they did the oil change but did not reset the computer for the oil change. A quick online search and a short youtube video later, and I did what they should have. As mentioned earlier we took two trips. The car had a strange smell during our first visit. They were nice enough to have a detailing company basically fumigate the insides to remove the lingering smell. The smell did improve, but the insides of the car had miscellaneous leftovers from the previous owner(s), making me wonder how well Len Stoler, and/or the detailers, cleaned the car. In fact, upon lifting the backseat, we found all sorts of "goodies"- half eaten french fries, candy, dirt/sand, and what looked to be prescription medication. Clearly, the inside was only cleaned for "show". We waited at least an hour to go through the financing process. The process itself only took us maybe 10 minutes (we already had outside financing), but with only one finance person, things back up easily. Communication is shaky sometimes. I sent several questions that were never answered. I don't expect an immediate response, but when questions are never answered you start to wonder. The next time we're in the market for a new or used car, we might give this place another chance if they're offering a really good deal. Otherwise, we will probably look elsewhere read more

Dropped car off to have an intermittently inoperable door fixed and a spare key made. they never called to provide status. I called after 3 days and was told door fixed, key on order. After calling on the fifth day for status, was told key would be done in one more day. Finally picked up car and was told nothing was wrong with inoperable door. Bottom line find another dealer for service. door is magically working now.... so in essence it took a week to get a key made. Really guys..... come on. read more

I called at 5pm last night and made an appointment to a test drive a used truck that i noticed online at 10 this AM, as I live a hr away from this dealership. Arrived to find out that the truck had been sold last night and my appointment was not cancelled. The used car salespeople were wholly unapologetic and nonchalant about wasting my time (one of whom did not even leave his office but merely called out from his desk out of view), using the excuse that the woman that made the appointment was in a different department and wouldn't have known that the truck sold (even though i called their used car sales line to make it). I am very disappointed in the service I have (not) received. The service reception was rudely absent. I left my car there for 4 days, but they did not begin the service until my return from my trip. The potential for a loaner car was vacantly offered but not available for use while my vehicle was not serviced. 4 days later, I am car less with no clue whatsoever how I can resume work to pay for my non-service. Was told I would have free oil changes for two years. Lady who checked me on told me that it was no longer free after my second one. Was quoted an hour, waited over two. Got a car wash and the windows were streakier than when I bought it in, had to get it washed the same day. I don't complain about services often and I'm not persnickety but this was so bad I won't return. Hell if I am paying for an oil change I will go somewhere that won't take two hours. The warranty work to replace the louver on my Hummer was a rip off to GM. When I went back to get my vehicle that "was ready". I found the one thing they were supposed to do was not done. The louver was still sitting in my car. They said they couldn't find it. I have a telephone. Don't you think they would call and ask about it. It's ready but the job's not done. I then waited 2-1/2 hours for them to order glue and wait for it to be put on. If you don't have they materials to do the warranty work, why would you schedule an appointment to have it done. I am very dissatisifed with the communication of the service manager and the mechanic. No quality assurance there to see that the work they charge for is completed or done right. We purchased a new Tahoe in 2008, and were ok with the sales experience. Nothing great, just typical four hour process you just seem to have to deal with these days. Few years later had a few issues with the vehicle, and the service department looked at the car and found nothing wrong. To our surprise they didn't charge for their time to look at the vehicle. At this point we were probable to recommend or revisit this business. However, recently vehicle had issue with power door locks, a well known and documented safety and convenience issue with all of the trucks Gm has produced since 2007. Instead of paying approx. $300.00 PER DOOR to have dealership install new flimsy OEM parts, I found a company rebuilding the faulty Gm parts for only $69.00 per door, and I would install them myself. When I called the dealership to get two part numbers so I could service the vehicle myself, they absolutely refused to give me the part numbers. The parts guy who answered the phone on my first call had a horrible attitude, he took the time to look up the part numbers to tell me he had them in stock ( of course they do, with the extremely high failure rate I'm sure they fly off the shelves! ), but refused to simply tell me the two eight digit numbers he had already taken the time to look up. I explained that due to the fact these parts fail on a regular basis I wanted to go with a beefier rebuilt unit, and asked for the part numbers so I could get the right ones for my vehicle. The parts guy continued with his rudeness and continually refused to divulge to me the numbers. After asking twice through two different employees for the manager on duty I was put into the voicemail box of the General Manager. I left a detailed message explaining why I called and provided callback information. No call that day or the next. I then called again, and spoke to the parts manager, to voice my displeasure with the lack of cooperation of the dealership in my attempt to correctly repair the vehicle on my own. That manager, to my surprise, was just as uncooperative as her employee, and continually told me how they were in business to make money, not look up part numbers to help the people repair vehicles bought from the dealership on their own. Shocked, I figured that the general manager would be concerned that the parts department was only concerned with selling parts, not taking care of customers whom already patronized the dealership through buying a vehicle and financing it through GM. The parts manager told me she would speak to the general manager, and I should expect a call. Well, no call for rest of the day, so I stopped by on my way home in person. I was too late to meet with general manager, so left name and number with a salesperson who promised it would get to the general manager and that I would be addressed. Next afternoon finally received call from the general manager, whom was just as unwilling to help a customer in need as his employees had already been. As far as I can tell, the troubles in this dealership start at the top and trickle down, compounding in severity as they fall to the lowest levels of the company. Being in the market for a diesel pickup as I write this, and at one time being a satisfied and likely future customer of this dealership, I certainly will not be shopping for anything from Len Stoler. BTW, I was able to get my part numbers from another Carroll County Chevrolet dealership without delay. read more

The salesman Jacob "Jake" treated me with dignity and respect. He went above and beyond to make sure I left with a smile on my face. Good job Jake. And his overseer Mike was excellent as well.
