I think they're tropical or houseplants. Super helpful employees. They even tied a garbage bag around my rose so it wouldn't make a mess in my car. I asked about trees with purple flowers and they were also quite helpful suggesting what I could be thinking of and told me if I get the name they can tell me if they have it in stock. I'm very pleased with my experience and will be back soon to add more to my garden.

I talking about less than $5.00 of merchandise. I was impressed. She then led me to the parts I needed and explained how to piece them together. I also needed one other thing that was harder to locate, but she patiently found what I was looking for, then took care of me at the register. I overheard the gentleman tell the office personnel the weight of the rocks so I decided to add more to the order. Then overheard him tell her the weight of the additional amount. In all, we both added it up. I paid for it ($960). Within an hour or so, I returned to discuss buying more. Within minutes of arrival, I was told the total weight of the first order was calculated wrong and it would cost more ($530). When the company makes a mistake, own it. Don't ask the customer to pay for your mistake. I paid the difference because I'm honest. Interesting fact - you won't see the scale where the rock is weighed. I guess they expect you to believe they are honest. Avoid, avoid, avoid! I'm disappointed and sad to know this company is not as it was. I purchased several yards of rock from them 8-10 years ago and didn't have this experience.

I then left and went to another department and asked for a person to be called to help me in the grinder section on aisle 17. I heard the announcement loud and clear across the store PA I wait another 10 minutes and ask another department again. I hear a clear request for help on aisle 17 with grinders . I did have a gentleman announce himself as Manuel to. Please call him Manny. He was not dressed in any kind of insignia as being a Home Depot employee he said that he would absolutely help me when he saw I was looking at grinders. He shouted to another gentleman who was a distributor for another type of grinder. This person was trying to help me, but he didn't know the Dewalt grinder system, and didn't know if there was a tool that would help me take the wheels on and off again no help whatsoever from the store. Finally I approached self check out. I asked one of the ladies to please call me the manager. A gentleman who said he was one of the store managers named 'Red' came and identified himself as one of the store managers. He said he wasn't sure why nobody came up and that was too bad that happened. I ask who the GM of the store was and I was told his name Brian . But I was also told he was too busy walking around the store looking at inventory to deal with customers who are not being helped. Clearly they have lots of managers, but none of them managing. I definitely would avoid this Home Depot. It was just so conveniently located off the freeway on my way to Sacramento that I thought I would grab something I needed. What a mistake. Our air conditioner died on a 100 degree day. My husband thought that the problem might be the…read morecapacitor so the search was on to find one available immediately. The Davis and Woodland Ace Hardware did not have any, nor did the Woodland Home Depot. Who knew that the Dixon Ace Hardware would carry them and have them in stock. They set one aside for us and we immediately made the trip to Dixon. The capacitor was waiting for us and the sales person mentioned that they are the only ones in the area that carry items like that. We wandered about the store a bit, it's larger than the Davis Ace. My husband was also looking for a specific drip irrigation plug but they didn't have it in stock. Two sales members helped us look for the item and then they explained that the store will be doing a major re-do in October so they are starting to reduce inventory and the plug seemed to be one of the current reductions. Even so, the store was orderly and well stocked with other items. Our $40 purchase in hand, my husband installed it once we got home, saving probably hundreds of dollars if we had called a HVAC company to diagnose the problem and replace the capacitor. BTW, it worked and we have cool air again.
