I needed to have four speakers replaced and I upgraded from 5.25" speakers to 6.5" I also requested the stereo deck cover upgraded and multiple plugs be installed around the boat, last minute at drop off. Jesse and his team had to drill through fiber glass and three layers of ply wood. The job ended up taking four hours longer than anticipated and Jesse still honored to original guesstimated price, although no promises were made and he didn't have to do that. I wad absolutely blown away by the work done to my boat. The team went above and beyond by cleaning up old messed up wiring performed by a different local shop. Kevin did a fantastic job on the quality of taping, spraying around sensitive items, and the overall thickness of the product. The lining in my Ram has taken a beating from my 5th wheel hitch (and overall truck duties) but is still without a nick in it. I'm amazed at how good this liner holds up and have no doubt it will return its value when it comes time to sell the truck. Due to this positive experience, this time when I got a new truck I got it right in to get it sprayed and couldn't be happier with the quality, price, and experience.

Unfortunately, the dealership outsourced this and the body shop failed to do their job properly and the paint started to peel. Hyundai or the body shop would not cover the peeling paint. That meant I had to look elsewhere to get the job done a second time. The first body shop, was closing down to move and would not take any business. The second was ridiculously overpriced, quoting me nearly three times as much as what Javier estimated the repair at. It was Shift'n Gears, next door that recommended Calderon's Body Repairs, now I know why. I brought the car in and his wife took the info and pictures and a day later I had received a quote. I was surprised that the estimate, so much I immediately replied with, "when can I drop it off?' It took parts of four days, but the turnaround time was quick. More importantly was the quality of the work. It honestly looked like a new car. I picked it up and it had been washed and detailed and looked great! I was very happy with the work done on the bumper and driver's door handle. Would I use Calderon's again? Hell yes! They stand out by being amazingly candid, genuine, and compassionate. Let me convey an example. My truck was totaled by my best friend's wife who successfully avoided a deer only to encounter an oak tree. We had the truck towed to the only place geico recommended, Team Auto. When the independent tow company came, they said, "oh you're going to Team? They're the absolute best here. They do excellent work." I figured that perhaps they were insincere and working the two companies in concert. Didn't believe them.. Yet. Then later that evening after dropping of the truck I went to a grocery store and was chatting with the store manager about the day and my truck. He wouldn't stop going on and on about how he thought Team Auto was the very best around. It seems like from my small sample size here, the town of Paso Robles loves Team Auto! But that's not all. My experience with Ed was out of this world. In a great way. Since I live four hours away, I wanted my mechanic to work on my truck locally at home. This needed a long distance tow to make happen. Even though it meant that Ed would lose me as a client, he went out of his way to call all his friends to find me the best price for a tow of 250 miles. While we were waiting, he personally drove me over to the uhaul dealer and waited with me supportively while I inquired about renting a tow dolly to tow it up myself. He was genuinely helpful and altruistic, but not at all in the "used car salesman" kind of way. Ed and his team are top notch. While talking with him, I saw pictures of some beautiful cars he built and painted for celebrities like Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno. These are real car guys and if they choose Team Auto, rest assured they've done their research. Also, Team Auto apparently built one of the batman cars for one of the Batman movies! They're passionate about what they do and it's obvious that they don't look at their job as work, but rather it's a pleasure for them to make each repair a work of "art". I would work with Ed and the team again in the future and would go out of my way to bring my car to them for repairs. They're the best of the best. I really wanted to try to use a local company in Morro Bay so I didn't have to drop the car off out of the area. We got hooked up with auto body builders and these guys delivered above and beyond. They were able to do everything they said they would do on time and under budget. Communication was open at all times. The craftsmanship was definitely high-end with pride of ownership.
