The latte itself was not overly sweet, although I personally would have liked a slightly stronger matcha flavor. Still, it was a great drink to walk around with while exploring the local shops and community around The Barlow. Between the atmosphere, the people, and the location, it's an easy place to keep coming back to whenever I'm in Sebastopol.

Very cute vibes and it was fairly busy when we visited. The very nice older woman working the front counter seemed to be mostly on her own, so it did take awhile for her to take our order. When she finally came to us, she was so nice and apologetic. Even with the slow service at first, her kindness and warmth made up for it. After ordering our coffee, a waffle, and a breakfast burrito, we found a nice table to sit at. Unfortunately, I quickly realized most of the food here seems to be made in the microwave. This was certainly a bummer; however, the food was still ok. The waffle must have been fresh, and it was the best thing we ordered. Despite the microwave food, Coffee and Moore was still a great, adorable cafe that we enjoyed. I am sure there are nicer or more hip spots in Sebastopol, but this was a great stop for us!

Sarmentine is located in The Barlow in a premium corner location. Easy and free parking nearby. They offer phenomenal pastries and coffee beverages. I tried some of the day-old pastries as well as a selection of fresh stuff such as the pain suisse, canele, and some others. Everything was amazing- even the day-olds. I also thought the pricing here was reasonable for great pastries. I have paid much more than what I paid at Sarmentine for less scrumptious pastries. The staff who helped me out were kind, and they offered some great recommendations as to what I should order. The inside/outside dining space is a great touch, and they have a great kids' area right outside as part of The Barlow. Worth the visit!

I ordered an almond milk latte but was initially given regular milk. They remade it, though they seemed annoyed about the mistake. After spending over $40 and getting back to my car, I realized the remake was just steamed almond milk with no espresso at all. We also ordered pizza but were told that the pizza place (Acre Pizza) couldn't do a half and half pizza and no modifications could be made. You can only add items on. So we ordered two pizzas and waited the 20-25 minutes. The pizza was ok, but nothing spectacular for the cost of 33 dollars per pizza, mine was a little burnt as well. The pizza came with two flimsy plates a few napkins and exactly 1 packet of red peppers and 1 packed of grated cheese. Just a heads up the Acre Pizza is a few doors down and when comparing menus there is a $5.00 per pizza mark up.

A lot of small businesses are hit with high processing fees for using credit transactions. I usually try to help support small businesses. But unfortunately I no longer carry cash. However, the cookies are good, and the charming shop and staff make up for the high-ish prices. The flavors here are really unique. They have many classics, as well as some specialties like lavender, cinnamon, and ginger. I really enjoyed the lavender one. It was satisfying but also refreshing, all stuffed into a cookie. There isn't really anywhere to sit here, but I think it's more of a to-go place anyway. A beverage and cookie make a great snack to walk down the streets of downtown Sebastopol. This is also a great place for a gift. My grandma ended up grabbing some cookies as a gift for her neighbor, and they wrapped them up so nicely for her.

It worked but it wasn't the most comfortable seat in the house as people were walking in and out of the door and the pastry case was right next to us. There was a group of four near the far end and they offered to move us but then we would have been sitting right next to them. They also have another small private room but that was going to be used for a wedding cake meeting. Gergana is the owner and she greeted us warmly. She said she took over the patisserie in 2019. The other employees were very sweet and helpful. They provided us with a tea menu so we could select a tea from their varied tea menu. They returned with little pots of tea for each of us. There were many people dropping by to pick up a pastry and drink and others stopped by to pick up their cake order. The employees were efficient and quick to help everyone. They refilled our tea pots with hot water and checked on us throughout our time there. The desserts on the top level were our favorites. It came with a candle which was very sweet. The sandwiches on the middle level were chicken, egg salad and cream cheese with cucumber. Our favorite was the chicken salad. Overall, it was a fun experience to savor all of their small samplings and Gergana is there to ensure everything runs smoothly so that your time there is relaxing and extra special. She even gave us a hug as we were leaving. I look forward to visiting this local patisserie again for a cup of a tea and a beautiful pastry.

The macarons are a little harder and chewier than I expected, but they are still amazing. I actually found Patissierie Angelica specifically because I was looking for high tea services and thus have had their West County High Tea service twice. The second time I had the high tea service, I was given a private room! I particularly enjoyed the lemon curd, jam, and clotted cream with the scones. Patisserie Angelica is also located in a quiet and spacious part of Sebastopol; there is a parking lot that usually has space. Cons: The private room became a little stuffy as there was no air flow (other than an open window) nor air conditioning. However, things might have changed from the last time I was there. Overall: The bakery is truly amazing. I absolutely enjoy the desserts sold there and would love to have more of the high tea service in the future. It's perfect for private parties!
