3 years later and I'm still so glad we found Olga. Pre-Covid, she had more employees helping her but now, like many other businesses, she is operating with less hands to help (just 1 or 2 others assisting her now, as far as I can tell). That has not changed the quality of her services and her pricing has remained fair. We have her come on a fairly regular schedule now but occasionally will need to reschedule and she's always been very accommodating and very communicative. I will say, she and her employees are very straightforward and no nonsense but still polite, so they are not big on small talk and would rather quietly get their work done than converse with you. So if you're looking for conversation while they're working in your home, you'll need to find someone else. I plan to keep using her services for as long as I can! read more

I am extremely disappointed. I originally scheduled a Monday appointment. I was told only they only accepted cash on the first cleaning. I got a text message on Sunday evening that apparently a car was broken down and that the cleaning team would need to reschedule. They gave me some options and I chose for them to come on Tuesday afternoon from a list of dates and times that they provided. On Tuesday morning, I confirmed again that they would need cash. Olga responded and said that yes, they would need $180. I said that it should be $160 as that is what was quoted to me via Yelp messaging. She corrected herself and said yes, it'll be $160. I went to the bank and grabbed cash so that I would be ready to make payment. I received another random message around 1:30pm that the cleaning team will be done in about 25 mins. I texted back and clarified that no one had come to my home and that my appointment was at 3pm. Olga responded and said it was the wrong person that she texted. 3pm came around and I heard nothing. Radio silence. I texted around 3:15pm asking if her team was on the way. No response. I texted again around 3:40pm and asked if they needed help finding my house as it's in a new development. Again, no response. I called the phone number she was texting me from and no one picked up and the voicemail was not set up. I texted one final time just saying, "Hello??" around 4:20pm and again, no response. This was just extremely unprofessional and very poor communication. I recently moved into a new location and even though it was fairly clean when we moved in my roommate and I still decided that once we were settled in that we should have a cleaner come just to do a good thorough job of certain areas/mop especially. I did my fair share of research and found lemon cleaning to have overall good reviews aside from the ones where it was clear people had miscommunication issues with them. Which could've been either parties fault. So I decided to secure a date and have them come clean. Olga (the owner I believe) told me three people would be coming for 2 hours to clean the items that were provided in the description she sent me for a basic clean. I let her know we didn't need our bedrooms done so she was fair and took a little less off my original quote. Today was cleaning day. My scheduled time was 11, but she let me know they could arrive at 10:30 if that worked for me which it did so cleaning began at 10:30. Granted like I said our house was already fairly clean and I clean weekly so it's not like anything had been neglected or really need to be crazily scrubbed. The team was complete by 11:15. I thought wow that was fast so I came downstairs to pay her and checked what I thought would be noticeable areas. However, I still am unsure if downstairs was mopped because they did not bring mops with them or asked to use mine. I noticed the lady upstairs hand mopped some areas, but not sure how much she really could accomplish that way. It seems that many of our light fixtures which were easy to reach were not dusted or wiped at all. Which considering I didn't ask much of them I thought that was stuff they would've definitely got. I will admit that cleaning is a hard job, but considering they didn't even stay the full time slot and there were things missed and things I'm unsure of that were touched I feel that my quote should've been lower. I tried to contact her after the fact and I have yet to get a response from the number she called me on or Yelp messaging. I guess this is what people referred to when it came to communication. They also do not have voicemails set up on ant of their numbers and I think that is done purposely to avoid any comments or concerns. If you notice, most genuine businesses will reply to feedback whether it is good/bad to make sure they fix issues and to keep customers. I am very disappointed. They were supposed to come to clean my home on Monday, May 24th 8:30 am and confirmed on Yelp. Monday morning I sent a message and many more message during the day. They did not show up for service and not even a courtesy call if they were having issues. During this time, I can understand if there is any sudden development. Olga and the orange team have been cleaning my place for a few years now! I have worked with other cleaners, but Lemon Cleaning has been the most reliable! They are a miracle worker, especially with my pets! My couch ALWAYS looks brand new after they leave (black couch and white cats don't mix...). Somehow they get all the cat litter out of my carpet and tile that I can never seem to get budge. AND they get all the mildew out of my shower that takes more elbow grease than I possess. They are honestly fantastic. When I have additional requests, they always accommodate me! Communicate your expectations and they will meet them. From what I see in the negative comments - if you are worried about scheduling issues, no matter the business - these can happen! I always schedule them a few days before I need them there, and in a time frame that can be flexible. Sometimes there are illnesses or car issues that have prevented them from coming to their scheduled date. They always get me on the schedule the next day or two when that happens. Sometimes a job finishes quicker or longer than anticipated, so they can show up anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour early/late when that happens. Olga always texts me and informs me when this is happening to confirm it is okay. If you need them exactly on time, when I've scheduled the first appointment of the day, they are always prompt! They are polite, speedy, thorough, and the best around! Don't let a few instances take away from the five stars that they deserve! read more

My husband hired them to come over and clean the common areas & bathroom, and do some dishes while I was out. As far as the bathrooms go, they did an ok job. The toilets and sink were visibly cleaner but it didn't wow me. Same with the living room/dining room: they did some dusting and vacuumed the couches (which was nice) but I wasn't really wowed like I have been with past cleaners. Additionally, they didn't get the top of the built-in when dusting. The main reason for the low rating is for the work on the kitchen/dishes. Most of the items they "washed" had to be done again because they were still dirty. Some were oily and they left all the dishes out on the counters without drying them (even though there were plenty of clean dish towels out). Additionally, they murdered my beautifully seasoned cast ironed pan and did a bit of damage to my cast iron griddle. I was livid when I saw this, as you can imagine. According to my husband, they brought three people over for an hour and honestly, I am shocked that we were charged 3 hours worth of work for what was done. They didn't even wipe down the counters or stove. So frustrating! I have tried to contact them via all the phone numbers I could find, as well as email. None of the phone numbers had voicemail set up and the email bounced back as undeliverable. I texted one of the phone numbers. No response. I really wanted to give them a chance to make this right before posting a review but it's impossible to get ahold of them via any of the communication channels on their website or google listing. We were ready to put our home on the market and we wanted the place to sparkle during an upcoming open house. Olga messaged me back quickly, answered all my questions and were very flexible on the time and date. On the day of the cleaning, Olga and her partner (didn't catch her name), came in and walked through the house with me. She was looking at the cleanliness of the home (or not, ha!) and estimated how long it would take to clean the rooms discussed. I was very happy with the results, happily tipped $20 per girl, and will definitely use them again -- hopefully to clean our next home. This is a review to remind myself not to use them next time. Their attitude was not good. Came late. Did not clean my apartment. They did say they could clean again after I caught them not really clean up my unit but I let them leave because the situation was too awkward and the owner's face was annoyed. But what de hell would I know that after they left I used paper towel to wipe my windows and I found that the windows were still dirty. I also wiped kitchen shelves and all drawers in the kitchen and the bathroom. They were all not be wiped at all! I have to hire cleaner to clean my apartment once a year because it is a rental property. I did not want to accidentally call them again next time since they are 4 stars on Yelp. (I'm very curious why they have 4 stars) So I'm writing this review to remind myself to avoid them next time. Oh here is an advice for you if you want to use their service. Stay there the whole time to monitor them otherwise you will get the same result as mine. Especially if your house is not too dirty. Our unit was pretty clean before they came. I am in dismay about the "cleaning" job that was done in my home this morning. I hired Lemon Cleaning for a deep clean of my house. I was told by Olga through Yelp messaging that it would entail: "Kitchen : cabinets outside ,Countertops sanitized and inside Trash emptied,Microwave sanitized I inside & out, refrigerator and Stovetops cleaned outside& inside.Floors vacuumed & washed,Walls cleaned , bathrooms vacuumed and dusted. Mirrors, sinks, faucets, counters cleaned, Items on counters washed, Bathtub, Showers cleaned, Shower doors and tracks washed, Towel bars washed, Outside cabinet dusted Toilet bowls cleaned and sanitized Floors, baseboards washed and/or carpets vacuumed. Area rug shaken or vacuumed. Blinds, fan,window sill. Lemon cleaning." I was also told they would be sending two people. Only one showed up and she did a terrible job. There is still mildew in the shower and tub, the bathroom sinks were not cleaned, the shutters are covered in dust, the cabinet faces are totally dirty and now have streaks from where they were haphazardly wiped, the window sills were not cleaned, the shower tracks were not cleaned. It really looks as if almost nothing was done. Also, she inexplicably rearranged the entire contents of my fridge, moving condiments and drinks from one place to another; very bizarre. I could not be more disappointed. This is an absolutely unacceptable job. I feel like I was taken for a fool and they pretended to clean but did nothing they said they would. BEWARE! read more
