I am reviewing this bar a 2 star out of 5. Today I read a fiasco that the shop owner posted online about a former employee that she had working for her. In all of the situation, because she drags it out in long messages and captions, she portrayed herself as a victim. From her perspective, she got beat up by the former employee and her mama over a 30 day notice when the former employee kept making late booth rent payments. When you hear the former employee side which is a very young minded girl, being she's 21 & the owner is 31, she explains that they didn't come with the intent to fight. I read the owners side of the story, the former employee side, & I read the former yelp reviews on here. If you're a person with common sense that knows how to put 2 & 2 together you'll see that the owner isn't as innocent as she paints herself to be. But because she's a well know hairstylist in the bay & well respected by other hairstylist, their falling for the victim innocent role she's playing & I don't think it's fair at all. All of the reviews I read about this women was horrible, if it's multiple clients saying she was unprofessional their not lying! This lady needs to overly evaluate herself then her business so everything can be conducted properly. OVERALL, both parties were wrong, both are wanting to put the full blame on each other. Don't let the popularity of the hairdresser fool you. I personally wouldn't step foot in this salon due to the reviews, how she choose to run her shop, & the fact that gossiping also goes on as well. As well as I don't like fraudulent unprofessionalism that tries to be portrayed & disguised as "kindness." I have been going to Le'Je Beauty Bar for about two years. My daughters recommended her to me. I seen their hair and I decided to try some thing new. I have had a weave installed and wigs and her work has always been consistently looking good and sexy. She even post her work on the gram. I have received a professional service from this lady each time and I can speak for my daughters as well. I will say this...I read some of the recent negative comments and I will say this. A lot of it is not true. This lady is a black business owner who was blessed to expand her business and employ other women to have their own by renting out to them. And they struggled to pay their booth rent on time because they didn't have the clientele. Alot of their business came from Le'Je Beauty Bar because the owner was referring us to them. So, when you can't pay your booth rent on time constantly and she has to pay on time to the building owner, of course you have to "hit the road jack, and don't come back, no more, no more, no more, no more" period. I'm just saying. Jealousy and Envy is what I see and whoever posted the three girls jumping her in her place of business... that says it all. The lady is a petite little thing that did not deserve to be treated like that. Rent some where else. But, the facts you can't afford anywhere else. So, do your business from home. But, your home was probably to nasty to do your work from there. I'm sorry every time I think of what I seen on that video I get disgusted by the grown fat rats who did that to her. Don't ever go here she is so messy she talks about other people business the place is really dirty and it smells really bad she has a really bad odor and she's doing people hair with really outdated equipment that actually burns the hair off. The products that she's been using make my hair fall out. so i've decided to even out what i've seen below....Erionne is amazing at what she does no denying her that! i've gotten my real hair and wigs done from her multiple times and it's always a slay and a yaaass moment! the custom service and communication is something i deeply appreciate! i've been trying to find a salon that feels like home for awhile and i've found that in Le'Je beauty bar!!! i highly recommend her services and nothings perfect, but you will be walking out of there feeling like a million dollar bill and erionne will make sure of that with her skills and expertise! will continue to go back and get slayed by the queen!! read more

She charge like a professional but is not a professional, I got a sewing with a frontal she did not use no cap and my hair was pink and she use black string to sold my hair throughout my head you see black string and gaps, then when it came to the frontal that I bought off of her it was a different skin tone than mys and she left it like that she did not put no make up on it or blend it at all before I left she told me if I don't like it I can always come back and she will fix it. The next two hours after I left my frontal start lifting. I text her back explaining the problems that I was having with my hair that she installed. She caught an attitude and start manipulating the situation and blaming me as the client for my hair coming out like this, I paid her over $200. We both know she did not do a good job that's why when I left she said if you don't like it you can always come back... it's only been five days since I had her do my hair, and it's in a disaster everybody told me that I should get my money back or she needs to fix it. She refused to do anything about it. She literally took my money and just did anything to my hair. Where do I even start.. I've been getting my hair done by Leje for about 3 years now and from the first day I stepped foot in that shop I have had nothing but a 10 star experience! There has always been open communication between us, Leje and the rest of the team have always been very sweet and professional, I've never felt like I couldn't be myself or like I wasn't able to talk, and if you know me I love to talk! The establishment itself is beautiful the decor and ambiance just makes you feel like a boss baddie before the wig is even on my head. The fact that I come in the shop and there's 3 other women all getting their hair done and in and out the chairs in a timely matter..never rushed.. blows my mind that her and her assistant work so cohesively and fast with the ending results looking like she spent 12 hrs on my hair.. chefs kiss! I had walk out of the salon with my hair not done today. The stylist, or owner I believe, was extremely rude to me for being 4 minutes late. (I arrived and was ready at 12:04 instead of 12:00) I would of preferred her to turn me away than disrespect me in front of a room of people. I kindly responded to her and took my seat but she continued to make false and rude comments about me to her coworker. Her vibe was just NASTY and I couldn't force myself to be comfortable or trust her to do my hair. She seemed like the type to mess your hair up on purpose if she's jealous of you. A client shouldn't feel that way when they are giving you their $. It was ridiculous behavior especially when she told me I'd be waiting all day while she works on other peoples' hair at the same time as me. It just seemed really childish. Like she got a kicked out of it or purposefully was trying to get out of doing the service. 100% Bad customer service regardless. She played herself out of some money. DO NOT BOOK WITH HER. I got a glue-less wig from a bomb wig company and she messed it up!!!!!!! She cut WAY too much lace off of my wig. She wanted me to get my hair professionally done so bad but I told her I just wanted my hair braided down so I can wear it glue-less so there was no point. I asked her to cut my lace since she's a professional and I wanted to make sure it was done right. First and foremost, she cut the wig OFF of my head. WHO DOES THAT? She ended up butchering my wig! So now I'm left with paying a frontal replacement. After I already spent my hard earned money on paying for this wig! She didn't accommodate me at all. She said she "knows what she's doing" cause she "cuts lace all day everyday" what really made me mad was that she didn't accommodate me nor own up to her mistake. I had a 10:30 appointment for a wig install & frontal swap It took her over 5 hrs to do cause she's all over the place between switching clients in the middle of your appointment this girl came in after me and gets her sew in done while I'm just sitting on the couch collecting dust .. she leaves the shop plus she's extremely rude and confrontational she chased me outside with her assistant for some money that she should have made sure she had before I walked out .. like she wanted to fight leaving two other clients just sitting there once again super unprofessional without my hair styled or anything and my lace is overlapping on my ear still paid full price . Lol. Man where to start. I got a frontal installed didn't cut the lace to fit my head was overlapping on the sides. All over my ears. She uses dark dark makeup to put on the lace. Not even the actual color of your skin . Which applies to me. Not to mention my hair was of bright color . She also was all over the place trying to switch from me and another client going back in fourth on both of our heads i was feeling a little rushed. Meanwhile that's what's appointments is for so you can manage your client only who has paid to reserve that time! . Then she has her friends there where they talk unprofessional about getting drunk and this and that cussing unprofessional Language. She even took a break and threw me under the dryer (friends were rushing her to go smoke) just so she can go smoke with her friends outside of the front of the establishment . They were high under the influence . She wasnt worried about me i was still under the dryer y they were ordering food . After wat seemed like forever she finally finished . Then had the nerve to ask me did i want my hair flat iron! Usually when you get a extension hair style at the salon flat iron comes with but $25? Extra bye! I'll do it. The salon needs upgrades the floor is filthy needs to be swept and dirty needs a good mopping! White carpet was filthy. Never got my complimentarty snacks or drink that she offers nor did she ask. My experience at the Le'je beauty bar isn't like any other. The space is so amazing and exclusive you get the vibe of having your personal salon. But besides that my hair has never looked as good as it did when I left her chair. Erionne has magical hands and truly makes sure that everything is done to perfection.
