Although I've been a loyal customer since…read moretheir opening recent interactions have just left a really bad taste in my mouth and I feel that the customer service has really dropped off and left a lot to be desired. We had Hot Springs replace our pool liner last year due to a tree falling into the pool in a windstorm. Since I wanted everything new I purchased new fittings and trim pieces to go with the new liner not realizing they were included with the liner. No big deal. I'll just return them. Except their technicians took my parts when they left. By the time I sorted it out I was beyond my return window. To top it off the new liner leaked losing an inch of water per day. It took them a month and a half to finally seal the leak while they constantly kept trying to blame my light niche for the leak, which cost me another $80 needlessly on an underwater sealant. On top of that they failed to properly seat the edge of the liner into the rails and the liner pulled out after being filled. It took hours to stretch the liner back into place. The install technician told me they would credit me back for my extra expenses and hassle. But when I went in to settle up....no credits at all. Refused to reimburse for the $80 sealant. Refused to credit for the parts they took and were now in their inventory to use and beyond my return window. Refused to credit for the water loss. Instead they returned the parts to me which I have zero use for until I replace my liner again and still wouldn't need because they come with the liner. I've literally spent thousands at this business as well as trying to promote them because I believe in supporting small business and they don't seem to care. If that's how you treat loyal customers then you don't deserve loyal customers. I'll take my business where it's appreciated.

Response was, "we don't have a technician". Period, no suggestions and really seemed like she had bad weekend. Called back to say I had not received the light kit as shown in the picture that I bought. Ms. Pleasant says, the 4th bullet point down says , "bulb not included. I said it was a bit misleading, considering all of the other parts that were the say except for the light... she counters not at all it's in the writing... I call back to say I didn't get the part of the lighting I was supposed to. She says take a picture of everything you received and send it to the email.... I chuckled and said I received everthing but the light, why would I take a picture of everything I have... it's the light that's missing... can't take a picture of it??????? Chelesa got a little more attitude and I asked for her manager.... she said he's John and he won't return my call and he doesn't have to, I tried ask who she reports to, again, John and he doesn't talk to the customers... I said you are the only customer service/parts/service person there... Yep she's it all..... I'd never buy from this company ever again. They are the WORST!!

I sent the defective component to the manufacturer and it's been almost 2 months with no response. I had to file a chargeback with my credit card company. Avoid this supplier. I wish I had bought from Amazon. So much for trying to support a small business.

    At the start of the summer pool season, we realized that we needed to do some long-overdue…read moremaintenance/repair to our pool and pool maintenance items. I searched several pool-supply web sites as well as the elephant-in-the-room (Am_z_n). And it turned out that one place, Sunplay.com, seemed to have the best prices as well as the most complete selection of the stuff we needed for our pool. And having found this new (to me) pool supplier, I proceeded to order several items from them. After a couple of days, I received an email stating that they had processed my order and would be sending them to me in 2 different shipments - the first was a single item (a skimmer weir), and the other would be the remaining items. I got another email when the shipment was sent out along with a tracking number for "POOLCORP". I had no idea who this "POOLCORP" was, but when I entered the provided tracking number in a Google search, I found that it was a USPS tracking number, and my item was on its way. A couple of days later, I received that item via USPS mail, and I also got another email from Sunplay stating the second order containing the remaining items had been shipped. But it had the same POOLCORP tracking number as did the first shipment. Meanwhile, I opened the first package and checked what was sent - it appeared to be the correct item; however, it also appeared to be used (it was slightly scratched/discolored and had adhesive residue where some stickers had been removed), but more importantly, it was missing some components (the pivot pins/springs that hold it in place and allow it to work). So I logged into my Sunplay account and checked their contact info - they listed both a phone number and email address; however that said they were open only on weekdays, and now it was Saturday on a holiday (Memorial Day) weekend. Nonetheless, I proceeded to compose an email asking for the correct tracking number for the second shipment and told them about the issue with the skimmer weir I had just received. Again, as it was a holiday weekend, I really didn't expect to receive a response until at least after Memorial Day on Tuesday. But I was pleasantly surprised to get a response less than an hour later in which they apologized for the issues I had encountered. They said they would send me a new weir and that the rest of my order would actually be shipped on Tuesday. They also said that they would provide tracking numbers for both of these as soon as they shipped. Although I encountered some minor issues with my order, Sunplay's customer service responded quickly and courteously when I informed them of those issues, even though it was outside of their normal hours of operation. So I must heartily commend them for being so responsive, and overall I would give them the highest ratings.

The person I talked to was…read morenamed Chelsea and we canceled our order simply for the fact that she was absolutely the rudest human I have ever interacted with. We ordered a $1200 pool light set with expedited shipping. The shipping policy says that orders placed will be shipped within 24 hours unless stated on the product page. I was told there was a 7-35 day lead time on the product I ordered even though that was not called out on the product page. That wouldn't have been an issue had it not been for the rude and condescending tone Chelsea had when answering my questions. Every time I would go to ask a question or give her context on why I was confused she would cut me off mid sentence. I will never give a business my money that treats their customers like Chelsea did. Do yourself a favor and order from a different small business. Chelsea will run your business into the ground
