The Talty Family is awesome, while I have never personally purchased some from them I know a few people who have and I have helped out transferring people and things around for my friends. The Talty's are on a first name basis with there customers and go over any questions and your concerns. When or if I ever purchase a Polaris product this is where I would go they treat me like a top customer and I have never even made a purchase. What would seem like a simple procedure.... to mount and balance tires has left me somewhat confused. When mounting the new "engraved whitewall" tire on the front wheel, the technician failed to remove the existing spoke weights before proceeding to balance the wheel. To balance the wheel, a total of 12 stick on .5 oz. weights were applied to the front wheel. The bike has HD Chrome 80 spoke wheels, and I was informed by other Harley dealerships that the "chrome spoke weights" should be used to keep the aesthetics in line with the appearance of the wheel. The stick on weights are not meant to be used on this type of wheel, but used on mag type wheels. I called the service department and spoke with someone, trying to get this straightened out, as I am feeling rather disappointed. The response was not what I wanted to hear, service department said that they did not have spoke weights to fit my wheels and this is why they use the tape weights. This is even more confusing now because my front wheel still has spoke weights on it in addition to the 12 tape weights they applied. This the same dealership that installed and balanced these wheels using spoke weights when originally installed. October 28.... I did speak with Tim today (General Manager) and I will be taking the bike back to Starved Rock HD this Spring for them to re-balance the front wheel with "spoke weights" at no charge. Thanks Tim!

We negotiated and I told her the bottom line of what I would accept and the dealership agreed. They came and picked up my bike to inspect it and came back to me $1,000 less than what I told them the minimum was that I would accept. She fed me BS about the bike needing a three hole service, brake flush and a new front tire. I told her to return my bike and she continued to offer me less than the agreed amount. This situation shows this dealership has no regard for people's time or finances. They want to get people for every little dine they can and by any means necessary. Do yourself a favor and give your money to a dealer that cares about people and truly values a customer!

My only regret is that it would take me almost two days to get there if I want to go back. I'm assuming he will do mail order, so give him a chance. I bumped into this place after visiting many motorcycle shops, stores, etc…read more.. The owner and crew are just amazing! They help me understand better about motorcycles, The got me into track day which helped me improved my riding experience. I was able to try on suits, gloves, boots, etc... I got all my riding gear at the shop! This is the one stop store! From oil change to getting all your gears. They have Bike night every other Thursday 7pm-9pm They have lots of bikes to choose. I recently got my first ever cardo freecom, which allows me to talk to my partner on the road, it isn't boring anymore! I've been knowing them for over 3 years now and they are just great! P.s they have cool dogs, my kids loves just to swing by and check them out! You can also buy sweaters, shirts, etc with the Dogs on it!
