Bill White's C.A.R. Hospital is the only repair shop I ever want to go to...ever! And, I am an…read moreuptight freak about car repair: terrified of unanticipated problems and high repair costs. I've used Bill White's C.A.R. Hospital several times this summer. My car is fun to drive, but at 15 years old, it always needs something. My greatest concern is an unanticipated breakdown, and that's exactly what happened the first time I visited the C.A.R. Hospital. Usually, there's a clear view from the shop area to the waiting area/service desk--where I anxiously crane my neck to see where my car sits in the line of work. Usually, the waiting area is cramped and unclean, a place for stale coffee and man-picked TV. Usually, I find myself on the receiving end of vague terms with hens-and-haws, until I prove my cursory understanding of a fuel combustion engine and the ABS system. Here's what it's like at Bill White's: complementary beverages if you need to wait; free local pick-up and drop-off when requested; always friendly and polite service counter assistance by Rachel, Joy, and Bill; absolutely clear communication about diagnosis of problem and solution to problem, clear communication about the reasonable price of service or repair, and clear communication about exactly when work will be completed; lastly, there's a thank you card or coupon in the mail--real savings, not just some stupid systems-check, on something a car really needs. Did I mention that I'm an uptight freak about car repair?! If Bill White's C.A.R. Hospital can make a vehicle repair neurotic like me happy, I'm certain everyone should choose this business.

I'm writing this review to tell people to beware of this towing company. I'm a working mom that had…read morebeen in the office since 5am. When I walked to go to my car because I was running behind for chemo I discovered I had a flat tire. Unfortunately, I decided to call these unprofessional liars to assist me with getting my car towed to my home. I understand that these calls take time, but when I called I was told that the guy was close by and would be there in 15 minutes. That was at 3:57pm, so I waited a bit and no one showed. I called again at 4:30, 5 and then called the tow driver back again that said he got "tied up" and was 10 minutes away. What was funny to me was that it sounded as if he was home with his children because clearly I could hear them in the background. I decided to call the company and ask if they had another driver and of course the dispatcher lied saying he said he was 5 minutes away and he was on the way. That the driver stopped home to use the bathroom and he was on the way. So I waited, simply because I made the call and I don't like to waste people's time. They couldn't have cared less about mine because at 6 I called the dispatcher back and the coward didn't answer. I decided to call Miller's towing company that showed up immediately. While with the driver the "no show" had the nerve to call and ask "was I still waiting for him?" Ummmmm no. Too bad for them because when John showed up and picked up myself and my car up I was extremely grateful and happy to pay him an extra 150 and buy him dinner. I will also be handing out his business cards in the office and letting them know if they have a problem with their vehicles and need a tow Get Hooked Towing is definitely not the Company to call. They enjoy wasting your time.
