Exact same ZX-10r as Used Bikes Direct

This dealership is scamming listings from a dealership in Texas. These listing do not provide VINs, mileage, or any info on the bikes other than price. Not sure if every listing is scalped from other dealers but that's a huge red flag. Stay away. See screenshots of scalped listings below.

As the riding season is closed, it is the best time to buy yourself a new toy. That's what I did and I got a very very sweet deal from midwest actions cycles. I was in town visiting my parents and decided to make an appointment to inspect the stock they have. Saw this beauty that they did not even have time to put on their website. I was able to negotiate the price a little bit and bought it right away. Can not wait for spring to come to ride it! Big thanks to MAC team, very down to earth guys, they do know how to interact with a customers, one of the best experiences I have ever had

Midwest Action Cycles set my standard of how a vehicle purchase should be. Hassle free, that is how would I describe my experience with them. I am an out of state buyer and it was important to me that I receive the bike in the same condition as advertised. They did not disappoint. They were with me throughout the whole process, explained every detail, made close-up photos for me and videos. They took care of the delivery, it was insured so my new babe was safe.

THE.BEST.TIME.EVER! There were 7 of us. Some of us have ridden before, some of us have not. Netty was INCREDIBLE ! She was patient, funny, helpful and an amazing tour guide. I can't wait to do this again with her. The rental scooters are clean, well maintained and a joy to ride. The shop is organized and everyone is so professional.

These are the scooters we rented

We had a great time renting scooters! There were 7 of us girls and many who had never ridden before. The Grand Geneva location is great because it gave us plenty of room to do training. Then once we were ready to go there are lots of streets in and near the Grand Geneva with little traffic so we could get comfortable before going into town. The training was helpful and they even showed us how to ride as a big group and stay together on the road safely. Will be renting again and doing more exploring of Lake Geneva via scooter!

City Scooters is offering a great value by providing an easy to…read moreride bike when taking the "M" class license road test, delivering it legally to the Chicago North DMV, and providing a warm up and instruction out behind the shop. Now I want to cover the real value. I am a 60-year-old beginner who recently took a two day motorcycle rider safety class in preparation for the road test. I'm not afraid to acknowledge that I am an over thinker, which sometimes results in a bit of anxiety. Marty and Carlos found a way to meet me where I was in terms of capability and mindset. Yes, they were great instructors. Yes, I passed the test. That is not what made my experience great. Marty and Carlos made it great by meeting me at a human level with caring and kindness until I was ready to go take the test. As always seems to be the case, the people make the difference. I highly recommend utilizing their service and working with these guys. You won't be disappointed.

If you ignore my advice and use them for service, take a video with SOUND of the entire outside of your ride with the engine running so you have proof of condition! They charge a diagnostic fee NOT applicable to your final bill and want half the money up front. Prior to service, my Vino was so quiet, I had to take my helmet off to hear it running. When I brought it in for service, a customer asked what I was riding because "it was so quiet, I didn't hear it." He and Chris (desk guy) were joking they like loud bikes like Harleys. I said mine is quiet, like a Caddy and I like it that way. Brought Vino in 6/20/2023 for a sticky throttle. City Scooter said Vino needed new tires, and tacked on a $60 upcharge. Vino was "ready" July 6. Hubby picked up July 7. I started it, engine was beyond loud, like a chainsaw, NOT the quiet ride I dropped off. It had greasy fingerprints and liquid streaks all over. I found 4 large bolts and a washer under the seat. The steering column was out of alignment with the front fork. I brought it back July 13th to have the noise and alignment fixed, and handed over the 4 loose bolts. Desk guy's response? "Our bad." So after staff discussed how loud all scooters sound, I basically was called a liar for saying my Vino runs much louder than before "service." I say anyone who forgets to put parts back on a scooter can't be trusted to tell the truth. I was given nothing but excuses: the air filter might be bad (well, you guys put a new one in, so why not swap it out? Are your parts bad? Did you somehow miss another important step, like when Marty forgot to re-install 4 important bolts?); the engine noise was masked by the dirty air filter (too ridiculous to refute); "it might be the crankshaft" (why put NEW tires on my scooter and perform maintenance if that is what you thought?!!); "all bikes run that loud, we've heard worse" (wow, just... wow); "I'm not saying you're lying but" (another wow). I'd brought it back three times before they mentioned "crankshaft." 8/5 I call to speak to Jeff Wunderlich. "He's not available. I'll have him call you back." Jeff calls when I'm not home; has a heated convo with my hubby, who recorded him. Jeff kept insisting they didn't "touch the engine." You don't need to touch the engine to ruin it, you only need to drain the oil...but Jeff doesn't mention they did THAT, of course! An oil change is part of maintenance yet I didn't see an oil change on my bill. And the reason for that is someone drained the oil, then took my Vino for a ride, ruining my scooter's crankshaft bearings. Oki then tried every tactic possible to not let me guess what actually happened. Like the air box would make the Vino run loud. My scooter was so filthy because engine oil sprayed all over it. City Scooters/OKI charged me $1458. I asked for a refund of labor charges. I know Jeff Wunderlich, I used to board his dog Sparticus and he wouldn't admit his dope-smoking employees made a mistake nor refund me one cent. City Scooter said they didn't run the engine before servicing, so how could they tell if it was louder? (Who doesn't start up a bike first before starting to work on it?) What I got from Marty's "work" on my ride: a Vino paperweight. I took it to a real motorcycle repair shop; EPM said the only way the crankshaft bearings could go bad were if the scooter was run without enough oil in it. They said riding any longer would cause engine failure and my Vino was no longer safe to ride. City Scooter deserves ZERO stars for killing my beloved 18-year-old Vino.

Stairlift Purchase and Installation…read more My inlaws needed a stairlift installed to be able to access their basement, he has neuropathy and has to use a walker, so stairs are impossible, and she is none to steady on her feet. I had done some internet shopping on straight lifts and had contacted a couple of other mobility suppliers in the area, and Mobility Connections prices were easily competitive with either other installed options and with self install internet options. While I am mechanically and electrically competent, I had never installed a stairlift before and tolerances at the bottom of the stairs were a concern, so professional installation was the best option. I called Mobility Connection for an estimate, and my call was answered by Chuck, the co-owner. We discussed what needed to be done and the price and he was apologetic that he could not come that afternoon (!), but would the next afternoon be OK? Yes! We didn't expect to get anyone out that quickly in the first place. Chuck showed up at the inlaw's home the next afternoon and measured what would be needed. We discussed options and the clearance issue at the bottom of the stairs (a door), and he allowed that that would not be a problem. I had mentioned a couple of options for the lift (power seat swivel and power lowering of the footrest), and he explained that those usually were not necessary. His solution was to have the inlaws use the lift for a while, and if the additions proved to be needed, they could always be installed later. He also explained that they offered a buyback program if, at some point in the future, the lift was no longer needed. My inlaws were OK with the price and the way everything would operate, and we agreed to have the lift installed. We had Chuck survey the installation on a Thursday, and the install was scheduled for Monday. My wife had joked with him about doing it on Friday, and he replied that if we felt that was needed, he could accommodate that! We told him no, that Monday would be fine. His installer showed up early Monday afternoon, ready to go. Installation was straightforward and quick, and in about two and a half hours, he was showing my inlaws how it operated and had them both riding up and down the stairs. There was one minor problem; during set up at the shop, the paddle switch that operates the lift had been inadvertently left off. He apologized for the omission and said that he would be back the next day to add the switch. In the meantime, they could use the lift with one of the two remotes supplied with it. He was back promptly the next morning with the switch and was done in about five minutes. Having the stairlift installed was especially gratifying to my father in law, who had not had access to the family room in the basement for five years, ever since his neuropathy had set in. He now also had a "storm shelter" so to speak, as their home has an outside wall to every room and no secure place to shelter from bad weather other than the basement. We couldn't be happier with Chuck and Mobility Connection. Their prices on this job were good, and they were professional in every way, even beyond the sale. Thanks, folks!
