Took the Harley-Davidson Riding Academy course with Mark K. in April. Have to say he is an outstanding coach/instructor and it was a fantastic experience. Had not been on a bike for about 40 years and the class was a very diverse age group, which he handled very well. Not just for beginners - highly recommend the course for anyone who needs a refresher on skillsets, rules of the road and such - opened my eyes on a number of things and reminded me much. Mark was an EXCELLENT instructor. The class walks you in to the road test at conclusion - and once you pass the test at the academy you can head over to DMV to update your license with your M! Look forward to taking some additional courses at Uke's. Thank you! read more

Had Dan and Peggy as coaches, they are both very knowledgeable and very friendly. They did not make anyone feel left out or like they were making fun of anyone. They truly care about our safety and want us to enjoy our rides for as long as we can! I don't think you can choose your coach but if you can try to get them! read more

Couple Names I'd like to give positive feedback on Billy: super tech who helped me out with a couple of things that were f'd up on my 08' Electra Glide. Very impressive his skills on fixing my ride. Just got off the phone with the most condescending service manager I have ever experienced. Blamed me for his inability to repair my motorcycle. They had my bike for almost 5 months, and called to tell me that can't fix it. Did not give any sort of discount in good faith. In my personal experience, I would recommend you go somewhere else. I had a great time here. I stopped in on a trip I took to the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee and then to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Along the way I stopped at 22 Harley Davidson Dealerships. This particular dealership is one I highly recommend stopping at. They have a very unique showroom, one of the most unique of the 22 on the trip. They have a glass window tower at the front of their building with a different bike on each floor! It's pretty neat to see. They also have a mini museum upstairs with a ton of unique Harley Davidsons. I've attached pictures. The staff greeted me as soon as I came through the door and gave me the lay of the land and sent me on my way to checkout the showroom and poker chips. This was one of the dealerships I spent the most time on the trip. If I return the area again, I will be back. You need to stop in. read more

Amazing staff and service department. Pulled off the impossible. During the 120 Year Celebration Week, they were able to get my bike it and complete a quick service job so I could ride in the event. 2nd bad experience with service dept. 1st I brought my new bike in because the left pipe was loose swaying about an inch. Service told me this was normal. I immediately went to sales floor and checked other bikes...no loose pipes! They then agreed to look at my exhaust and discovered a bad exhaust mount!! 2nd, had a front wheel replaced by Ukes late last summer and immediately noticed a hum noise and vibration in handlebars. Brought in for service and they had to adjusted an mis aligned bearing and it seemed a bit better. I brought my bike in today because my new front wheel by Ukes still makes a hum noise and handle bars vibrate when I lean either way. Service said they took it for a ride and couldn't duplicate the problem and then charged me $119 stating nothing was wrong with the wheel.... Mind you the repair and the bike is still under factory warranty and wheel still humming and vibrating! (2022 Road King). They noted on work order that the cause maybe due to aftermarket lower fairings ...even though they say can't duplicate problem. Service manager told me he can't warranty service because his service tech said wheel ok. He then said " do you think I would let you ride the bike if I thought the bike wasn't safe? They thought the original wheel replacement was safe, but it wasn't and had to repair it! Would not recommend this dealer. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Looking for a specific item that is only sold at their dealership anywhere close to me. Put in an inquiry to see if they had the items in stock as I would be driving 1 1/2 hours from Chicago and would hate to get there and not have it be there. Received email acknowledging my request and a text. I asked about the item and was told " that is not my department and that department doesnt use the app". When asked if they could simply walk over to that department and ask or pick up the phone to call them OR give me the extension number ..response was "Have a nice day " read more

From the moment I walked in to Ukes I knew that I would enjoy buying a bike. We walked in and talked to Kurt in sales and he got us started right away. We knew what we wanted to buy. Unfortunately they didn't have the exact bike in stock. Kurt told me that he would get us started on approval process and track down the bike. He did just that. He gave me an idea of numbers and then passed my information off to the team within an hour. I was approved to get the bike that I was looking for. I left with a quote that was good for 30 days. Before leaving Kurt, let me know that he was able to track down a bike. I called the next day to confirm that I wanted them to get the bike it. I came back the next day to sign all the paperwork, which John made as simple as possible! After signing all the paperwork, Kurt set me up with a delivery process and I will be getting the bike this weekend. Just had my Harley in for 20Kservice, brakes and tires. They did a great job. I live 30 miles away from the dealer they dropped me at the train station after I rode up there, then drove my bike to my house after they completed the work. Drove by last night and couldn't miss this place. Huge tower display case and a nice sign. We backtracked to grab a shirt and check the place out. We were greeted immediately upon entry. Offered assistance at entry and checked in with after few minutes. Sales force was friendly without being pushy. Selection of shirts were greatly varied and reasonably priced. We did not purchase a bike. We were there for the shirt! read more

My boyfriends fork seal blew out and had oil on the ride to ukes demo day and Adam in the service department was very helpful and responsive to being able to get his bike fixed the same day! Uke's Riding Academy Review - I was very disappointed in the 2 & 1/2 day basic course. During the course, we had to listen to a 10 minute pitch on why we should join the Harley Hog Club. Then another 10 minute pitch on why we should purchase a motorcycle from Uke's. The supplied motorcycles are too large (500cc) for inexperienced riders to gain agility for some of the exercises in such a short period of time. The neutral indicator lights on most of the motorcycles were not functioning which is ridiculous for training new riders which creates frustration and stress during the class. The training range was covered with utilized and non-utilized faded markings that made it difficult to know where the assigned paths were for each individual exercise. It was difficult to impossible to hear instructors on the other side of the range, (with loud motorcycles and semi-trucks nearby) then asked why we were not following the commands. The smaller marking cones were faded in color and very hard to distinguish from the range surface. The estimated failure rate of the class was approx. 40% - 50% which is a serious indicator of problems with the class. I did not need a "FREE" Harley/Uke's T-shirt for advertising purposes, which only raised the price of the class up to $385. The instructors were pleasant and knowledgeable. It was advised that at the end of the class to exit through a service door after discussing your examination results privately to seemingly avoid sharing the many class failures with the other students, to reveal the sad conclusion of the class. The required independent non-Uke's online class was excellent and that should be considered taking independently of this class. That was the most helpful part of Uke's Motorcycle Training Academy basic course. Students that failed the range examination were offered to come back and take the Sunday practice and test again for free, but after this negative experience, that offer will most likely be declined. I would not suggest taking the motorcycle riding classes at Uke's Motorcycle Riding Academy. read more

I'm looking at buying a new bike & walked in at about 2pm on a Thursday. The place was empty except for a few salesmen that clearly couldn't be bothered. I walked the whole showroom and didn't even get a "Hi." At one point I walked about 2 feet from one of them. I've heard mixed reviews about this place, but now I know. Had an oil drip on my 2018. I didn't purchase it at Ukes and I was traveling. Stopped in and the service writer was trying to convince me not to worry and all was ok. Which it turned out to be. So, I just bought my third bike from Uke's HD. I am not going to say over how many years, but each time I have had a great experience. This last time I was in the store, I started thinking about a new bike and began talking to Dave Ratz, Sales Specialist. Dave worked with me and provided an overview of a couple models that I have been investigating. He suggested the test ride, which is the kiss of death. After testing a couple models, I finally chose one. Dave worked with the manager, Jeff and "just wanted to run some numbers." The deal was very fair but I wasn't ready to move. At any one point, there was NEVER any pressure from Dave. Dave just kept saying, "I want this to be easy and you (me) hold the decision." I nodded, then walked away with an agreement that I would ponder the deal. After a week, I contacted Dave and told him I was ready to buy, of course on his day off. Even though he was off, he was available. He worked with his colleagues, Mike & Rick, to get the deal done. All in all, I am ecstatic with my third purchase and each deal has been easier and easier. Service Department has the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Brought my bike in early afternoon day before my scheduled appointment and they called me back three hours later the same day to tell me they had looked at the bike and what I needed. Bike hasnt been right in two years and has been to other dealerships but Ukes solved the problem. Bike was ready the next day. I come from Chicago and it is kind of far but worth the trip! I applied for a sales job here a year or so ago interviewed with Jeff it seemed to be a pleasant interview immediately went home and email Jeff after the interview thank him for his time and asked if he could email me within a week or two and let me know if I was even being considered. I have purchased from Ukes in the past never again Jeff has set a serious negative tone with Ukes customer base I followed up with several very pleasant emails and never heard a word from Jeff I've lived down the street from Ukes for 27 years I will never mention their name to anyone again! I've always used Ukes as a landmark telling people where I live not anymore or I use The Brat stop thanks Jeff . If you take your bike here you better check it over very good before you leave.#1 I had tires put on my Fatboy .They forgot to tighten front axle clamp and when i got home it was just dangling from one stud because the nut fell off the other stud.Had to drive car back to dealer to get replacement nuts and washers and fix myself.#2 the rear axle adjusters were wrong ,the bike pulled to the right.To fix that i had to loosen the rear axle nut and and turn the left adjuster in.They offered to come pickup bike at my house and fix it. i told them i will do it myself that way i know its right.. read more

Ukes Harley Davidson in Kenosha Wisconsin is not like any other Harley Davison dealership. In fact they really stand alone in getting it right. Let me explain. When we are lucky enough to purchase a new vehicle whether it be a car or a motorcycle the experience in my opinion has always been one with mixed feelings. From the pushy sales man and sales manager (The Closer) who looks at you only as a tool to make money and just about forgetting what the excitement, thrill, feelings and emotions that are going on inside the mind of the buyer. What usually turns out to be the excitement of getting that new or used vehicle becomes a negative because of no real one on one connection. Its cold, non-caring approach has never made it a good experience in shopping for a new vehicle. Ukes Harley Davidson in Kenosha Wisconsin has changed all that. From the moment you walk into their store you are greeted with a very friendly hello from just about everyone that works there. Its not that plastic fake hand shake or fake smile but rather people who really get it and care for great costumer service across the board. It was such a great experience that we just got our second Harley from them as well. Another good experience was their service department. The service manager Billy has a great vast knowledge of Harley Davidson motorcycles and really gave us a education on everything to do with our bikes. His hands on consumer educational classes have made us very comfortable on knowing how the Harley bikes work. Over all, the total service department follows his lead with outstanding service and making sure the employees communicate with the customer to where they understand. Lastly, the sales girls who run the merchandising also go that extra mile. If they are out of a certain size or color they spend the time researching in making sure they can get our requests. All and all when you put this all together you have a company that gets 10+'s across the board for the consumer buyer. Thank you to the Ukes Harley Davidson family for getting it right. Made a purchase of a Harley from this dealership(Big Mike). During bartering statement was made that a cover for the bike would be included in the deal. At signing he stated he would ship me a cover that was better than the ones on the shelf in the store. Over a month later now...numerous emails stating he is shipping the cover to me but no product actually being shipped. Notified the main email for the business and finally Mike responds to me that he was doing me a favor by sending me the cover . I m sorry but if you say you are throwing in a cover for the deal and you do not do so then I am not impressed with your follow-through on a deal with a buyer. This translates directly to my impressions on business ethics of your dealership and I will pass that along to others that may be interested in doing business. read more

Let's just say today was the last time ill step foot in there. Bought a 19 limited, called to make a service appt. told it would be 3 weeks out, made the appt. Stopped what I was doing today to take it in and the service guy Pat told it wasn't tell sept. 19th. After clearly telling Pat that I had written down the date and and was told to drop it off the day before, he stated he was booked until the 19th. I was so pissed wasting the time I actually looked in the service dept. and seen a lot of bikes but no one working on anything. D I know I didn't get the dates confused because I was already questioning the guy about being three weeks out and I was over my thousand miles. He said to bring it in on the 29th appointment was for the 30th. Got home called house of Harley in Racine talk to Kyle he said he could do the bike today for me since it was so far over the limit. He also stated that he would come pick the bike up for me no charge and take care of the service. That's customer service I only wish I had bought my bike from house of Harley instead of dealing with use. I've bought several bikes from Keith and he'll never see another dime of my money. I will say that the girls on the front desk are very helpful and very knowledgeable I wish I could say the same for the service department and parts department. I'm not asking for a miracle just because I bought a bike from them but when you make a service appointment the earliest I can get you in at six weeks is ridiculous And they didn't even care just had the OH WELL attitude. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars from me is because they never have parts for older bikes. The place is huge, staff is friendly, the people at the parts counter actually know what they're talking about, and they have all kinds of events year round that are free, or low cost. read more
