I was referred to Dr. Leila Zamiri by a friend, and she has helped me tremendously in a very short amount of time. Have already done a cleaning, 2x root canals, bridge treatment plans with her. She has always been professional, immensely knowledgeable, with a lot of expertise in her field. She is also very wonderful human being always bringing very joyful and warm vibes to my appointments, patiently answers all my questions and concerns. As someone who hated dentists, I now look forward to my dentist appointments with her. I strongly recommend her and her staff also reflects her standards of patient care and brings ease to the entire process from start till end! I have done my own homework in comparing prices, treatment plans with coupe other dentists. I am paying out of pocket and found the prices much more reasonable for the work I needed done. This is hands down the greatest dentist I've ever been to. They were able to get my insurance to cover over 10k worth of dental work that I had been trying to get done for the last 7 years with every place I tried not able to help me. The whole staff at family dental is amazing. When you walk in and when you leave, you are greeted with big smiles by the receptionists. The assistants where extremely nice and caring and good at their jobs. Dr. Honey is just the best, I had to go back three times and left their very happy with what was done, also, didn't feel like they were just trying to make money by making up "things" that's wrong to fix like I have often felt with other dentists. She quoted me ~ $4000 worth of unnecessary dental work... I was looking for a new dentist in my neighborhood and stumbled upon Dr. Leila Zamiri. I had previously gone to a dentist in Georgia and have a certain level of expectation in terms of professionalism, compassion, and customer service based on my prior experiences. I was unhappy with my visit in general. I was very uncomfortable, they kept me waiting in the lobby 30 minutes past my appointment time without checking on me, and didn't take any time to get to know me as a human being. All things I could maybe get past. What I could not get past was Dr. Zamiri saying I need a root canal immediately because my fillings were done so poorly by my last dentist and that I also needed 4 other cavities filled. This is a LOT of very expensive dental work (her prices are not cheap), and come to find out unnecessary. Note: I was coming in for a routine cleaning, have ZERO pain, and had completely clean x-rays 9 months ago. She reassured me by saying "it's not heart surgery. It's no big deal. I do 4 root canals a day". While she was intending to make me feel better, it left me wondering why she is doing that many root canals in a day. I likely would have gone to a specialist either way to have the procedure done if I ultimately needed it. I requested the x-rays from the office because I had a bad feeling about her character and proceeded to get a second opinion. I visited Dr. Emigh down the street who has a lovely office and treated me very kindly. He even retained his professionalism as he informed me that he "respectfully disagreed with the last dentists opinion" and he "believes in doing everything he can to avoid a root canal". Not only did I not need a root canal, he also didn't find any cavities. They also waived my office visit since I had just been to a dentist, and they clearly intend to build lasting relationships with their patients. My advice- avoid her altogether. If you must go and she says you need serious work done, ask her why you should have her do it instead of an outside specialist. Always get a second opinion.... saved me $4k and a tooth. read more

And always worked with us on options that worked best for our dental health and finances. We have grown to have a friendship She sees my entire family, my daughter and husband love her. I have also referred several friends and coworkers that now see her on a regular. And something I think is rare, is that her team is equally as amazing, front area staff and assistants. They make you feel important and are all around amazing. Every time i call they are so helpful and nice. Her assistants are just AMAZING and caring. I was looking for a dentist that accepted Medi-Cal so I could get a general cleaning and this location was listed under the Medi-Cal approved list I had found online. I am so grateful I found them! I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years because 1) I didn't have dental insurance before and 2) My last visit was kind of traumatizing and left me in mouth pain for multiple days after. Yvette (spelling?) was super sweet, funny, considerate of my situation, and super gentle on my somewhat neglected mouth. I only had 2 cavities which I came back to get filled by Dr. Honey who was also very sweet and gentle on my teeth. I didn't feel anything for the cavities! I moved away but I recently started experiencing some discomfort and I looked her up and drove to her! I wouldn't trust anyone else for my dental care needs!! Even though it had been years since we had seen each other, she remembered me as if it had just been yesterday! And best of all, the fillings she did, are still in great condition!!! "We don't guarantee our work" Claudia, Dr. Zamiri's office manager, said to me when we spoke over the phone in mid-September 2018. "Not for one day, and definitely not for five year" she added. The "work" in reference here are crowns, specifically for my tooth #18 and#19. I wish she said THAT to me the moment I walked into their office. I would have walked out right there. Instead, Claudia waited for several months, after I went through a great deal of troubles getting approval from my insurance company. AFTER Dr. Zeimeri completed my root canal for #18 and #19 and then advised me to get crowns IMMEDIATELY or else I would lose my tooth for both locations, Claudia then told that their office do not guarantee their work. read more
