    Spicy Crunch Salmon Poke Pockets

I've gotten Lei'd multiple times before and it's quite good poke. Parking is shared among a couple of other stores, one including their sister restaurant Teas'n You, which you can double and get poke and bubble tea without driving to a different location. Parking lot can be packed, but for the most park, it wasn't too bad. Inside they had three kiosk machines and someone behind the counter to help take orders. I had a giftcard and it was relatively easy to use at the kiosk. The poke pockets are a cute addition to their menu. The Poke Pockets are pretty small comparatively to the bowl for $9.95 compared to a bowl being around $16. They were good though. I like the sweet tofu wrap and they did stuff them well with poke and rice. As you can see though, the pocket is roughly the size of the palm of my hand. It did feel like a good amount of fish in every bite, it was just two-three bites though. It'd be nice if it was three or four instead of two. I like their bowls, they are a decent size, though it looked like some of their specialty bowls include cooked fish. Since this is a newer item, it'd be nice if they showed a picture or the size on the kiosk screen when ordering. I'd probably stick with the bowl next time, but enjoyed the pockets this time.

Pretty solid place. Although I'm not a pok'e person, my family is and they enjoyed it. You'll build your own bowl to suit your tastes, or go with a signature bowl. Ordering is done via kiosk or cashier so staff interaction is minimal, although the staff were friendly. Parking is free, which is always a plus. In side, seating is very casual, so great for friends to grab a bite. I ended up building my own popcorn chicken bowl. Flavors were good, and chicken was flavorful, moist, and cooked properly.

Loved this poke spot! I've heard some good things from friends but recently got to check it out. They have interesting toppings like hot cheetos and sides of poke chips. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely be returning!

FOOD I visited around 2pm and ordered a custom salmon bowl with jalapeños, tomatoes, cucumbers, pineapples, and more. The amount they provide of each topping is generous, and the quality of the ingredients compared to other poke places in the area is amazing. I'd definitely stop by here if craving poke! SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly. There are about three kiosks in the front from which to order. AMBIANCE The interior has ample seating and is very clean. Restrooms are available in the back. Parking Parking spots are available at the front of the store at a somewhat limited capacity during mealtime.

A lot of poke restaurants are meh but Lei'd is definitely on the better end. Their portions are great, they have a wide variety of protein and toppings to choose from, and are very prompt with their orders especially if you order online. I always remember to get the chips on the side and they give you a whole box full of it. If you're feeling a quick casual sushi pick-me-up, I would recommend Lei'd.

Generous portions and Uber eats had a BOGO deal, so we got 2 bowls for only $25. They did not have some toppings I was looking for (corn, yellow radish, etc) but instead they gave a lot of the toppings of the ones I did choose. Was also hoping to see yum yum sauce or mayo as an option for sauce, but they did not have that so I opted for the unagi sauce. Plenty of seating in restaurant and self serve water made it easy.

I ordered the BYO poke bowl with white sushi rice and wild gulf shrimp. It tasted fine, but I wouldn't voluntarily come back here, unless I was looking for something healthy (but even so, I would probably opt for a different place). I am not sure if it is mostly because I don't love poke, or if this place is just not very good. I felt like the shrimp didn't taste like much, especially since they were supposed to be flavored. They tasted very much under seasoned. Also, the rice felt like it was on the overcooked side. I did like the sauces, and I liked how they have a large variety of toppings to choose from. Overall, an underwhelming experience. I would be willing to try this place again in the future, but not anytime soon.

Food - 5, Service & Ambiance - we took out. Solid poke bowl. Love their selection of toppings, they seem to have more than other places, and allow for more than once sauce which I appreciate because I love my sauces. It's a very large bowl as well, they don't skimp out on ingredients. Location is right next to tysons mall, so it's conveniently located.

Leid Poke was not our favorite local poke place. The space is open and pleasant with multiple long tables. If there aren't too many people eating, that is fine. If it is crowded, you may find you need to share a table with another party which may or may not bother you. The problem we had started with the ordering system which is done by kiosk and was not very user friendly. I was surprised that no one behind the counter, seeing our confusion and discussion of how we were having a little trouble figuring things out offered to help out. So we kept going from screen to screen and then back again. Argh. I have definitely found at some places that this aspect of self serve is not at all a time saver. It is annoying and takes up more time. The staff was friendly when they brought our order to the table, but I would have much preferred more help at the counter. Having finally figured out the system we had ordered the chef curated classic ahi. When we got our lunch, it seemed a smaller bowl for a higher price then the other poke spots we frequent. This too was a disappointment. We also didn't enjoy the taste as much. So, all in all, we will be sticking with Pokeworks instead. Leid poke has a relationship with teasnyou next door. We've had a very good experience there but it did not translate to the sister business. There is parking out front and additional parking to the side of the building.

My favorite poke bowl place. Their toppings are awesome and I love their soba noodles. Idk other places with this option but I prefer it over rice. So so flavorful and saucy, i love throwing in whatever and everything always pairs so well together. Even if you don't know what to get its gonna taste amazing...

My bowl had shrimp, salmon and Ahi. Also eel sauce and sirarcha aioli (on the side). Lots of different veggies too. It works.

Tried this out while on business travel. Made my own bowl in an exploration of my first poke bowl. The options were a little dizzying and the tablet entry system not the most user friendly. But I was the only guest at the time so it was fine. The food was quickly delivered and it tasted good. No complaints on the food. I think a wider dish would be nice, if only to better access the ingredients at the bottom. I liked it.

Ask the Community - Lei'd Poke

Is it possible to just order the poke and without the extras (i.e., rice, toppings, etc)?

They are very accommodating with special instructions/requests so I don't see why this would be a problem. :)

Are you allowing sit down seating again? Today is 7/12/21

Yes, we allow sit down seating!

Do you guys serve miso soup?

Yes, we typically have it when it starts to get colder outside! You can order it online: https://www.toasttab.com/leidpoke/v3/… Read more

Is the salmon/tuna wild caught or farm raised?

Karyne, both are sushi-grade and farm-raised (farmed and harvested under controlled conditions and fed with pellets that do not contain live parasites). I hope this helps!

Is the salmon cooked or more like sushi/raw?

All of the fish they have is raw. Poke by definition is raw fish.

Does this restaurant offer any gluten free or soy free options?

Gluten-Free options are available upon request.

Poke is a Hawaiian type food?

Poke means "to slice or cut" in Hawaiian and refers to chunks of raw, marinated fish -- usually tuna -- which is then tossed over rice and topped with vegetables and umami-packed sauces.

They share a space with other businesses in a somewhat food hall/bar type of vibe. Some businesses from the original "the block" food hall have moved here like snocream. There are a lot of different plate, bowl, and combo variations to choose from. For my first time, it was very hard to choose but I opted with the seafood combo which has fried fish, fried shrimp, and a choice of meat. The flavor is amazing especially the bbq marinade on the beef. The batter used for the shrimp and fish tastes the same, a little bland, but light batter not overly greasy. I'm not sure what authentic hawaiian food is supposed to taste like to compare this but I think the seafood needs some kind of sauce. Portion size is great, one combo plate can be shared between two people but u might want to have your own as you're eating it. The take-out menu vs. dine-in menu are a little confusing, I'm not sure which has the better value and/or if theres any difference in portion size or what-not but we got the to-go combo and just ate in store. The dine-in menu I was told just gets plated instead of put in a box but i'm wondering if you get more/less meat in that sense because why are there two different menus? Overall this spot is pretty solid and a different kind of cuisine thats good to have around the area. I will likely come back and update my review as I try the other items on the menu and as they continue to renovate the space.
