Great store/staff at this weirdly adult toy store. I brought 3 kids here to check out the pick-a-brick feature. Super fun, and I was happy that the p-a-b price hadn't increased all that much since I last brought a child to one of these. The new boxes are cool, and work great. One thing I noticed was a pretty distinct lack of children here. You'll see this at places like Disneyland, too. These places are no longer aimed at kids. Half the store (look for the wall of black boxes) is definitely aimed at adults, and we were crowded by polite adults wearing tiny backpacks at the brick wall at times. That said, the staff was super pleasant and helpful, and the kids I brought had a great time.

I fricken love LEGOs. I mean, they're kind of expensive but they're just sick. This store always has a kind staff who are always willing to help you out. If you're looking for a specific series minifigure, they'll sometimes pull out a new one just to help you find one. They're just straight up awesome! The selection is always pretty great. The only reason this isn't a five star review is because it's almost always crowded, which makes sense considering it's the only LEGO store in Utah. They also have tons of cool models and sets on display, and I just love going here. Once again, the staff is just amazing!

My wife and I have recently developed an obsession for all things Lego so going to the Lego Store is a must. This is the only store even remotely close to us and each time we come here it's like going to Disney World, sorry Disneyland lovers but Disney World is better, and it's not even because of all of the Lego in the store but it's because of the staff here. Every staff member we have worked with at this store has always been so helpful and they have even given us free things like extra accessories for our built minifigs and they even gave us some awesome Disney Princess mosaic pictures that we have now proudly displayed in our daughters room. It's always a pleasure to come to this store even if you aren't there to buy anything.

The two teenagers in the store running the shop were unprofessional and couldn't help but ignore someone at the register.

Of course, they have toys and candy, but look beyond that and you'll see a well-curated collection of items to delight the young and the young-at-heart. Or perhaps you're a family member at a convention and need to bring home a surprise... well Jou Jou has just the thing. This is such an imaginative store that you can be lost for HOURS if you wanted to. The Giant robot, the dragon, the wall of costumes and the wall of games. The airships, all the fine work and details, I really don't think there's another store like it. There is a special wall that contains the monsters, if you walk by, some of them are activated. Some are cute, but some could be frightening. There's a tower of baby toys that smells like baby powder. it truly is something unique!

The toys are stocked high, the aisles are narrow ... and the products are old-school. If they have a speciality, it may be models: model trains, planes, and automobiles; Star Wars models and micro toys; and a lot of kits from model stalwart Revell. There also are a lot of those old-fashioned toys we got in the days before smart phones. They have old favorite board games like Stratego, Monopoly, and Battleship, and others from Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers. They've got new-favorite family games like the wildly popular mouthguard game Speak Out. They've got plenty of Matchbox- and Hot Wheels-brand cars, and a cool display case showing dozens of them. And yes, Action Figures: some Star Wars, but more of an eclectic mix with DC and Marvel Comics, Transformers, and the rest. It's also got a lot of what I call "dollar-store toys": a lot of little toys that'll hold a kid's attention for at least a little while. Hammond is a blast from the past that I highly recommend.

Outside of playing with Lego in the 60's when I was young, and doing some with my son in the 80's,…read moreI never gave Lego much of a thought. I took my son to Legoland when we were in Denmark. That was pretty cool. It wasn't until we had a Lego slack channel at work, I realized it could be an obsession. I went to Brickslopes recently. Interestingly, that got my wife thinking we needed a couple sets. This was my first foray into visiting a Lego store. It couldn't have gone better. Lots of interesting sets, both new and used. The children there were having a great time digging out those special pieces from the brick pits. The lady manning the store was very nice and friendly. If my child was still young, I would certainly look at holding a birthday party for him there.

Immediately entering wasn't greeted after coming in saying hi was more questioned on why I was in, wasn't thrown off by that usually people tend to just have an off day so understandable. It was more of the question why are you here and me saying I just wanted to look at some figures and seeing on pricing and if I wanted to sell them, I felt sorry for asking based off her reaction first figure I show them she finds the character says his name I respond "yes he's pretty cool " thinking she might've had the same interest in Star Wars then her immediately following "no his name is stupid" and basically down talking it I get some people don't share common interest but at least think about the person who has them who actually might be into what they have, that's when I started to feel off about it and moving to the next figure getting info on him, she kind of made a scene on it getting up saying " I need to make a call look at some stuff to offer" since the item was a more rare piece then grabbing those two figures running to the back with my items (didn't tell me she was leaving the items) not really talking to me again, takes off for about 5 minutes comes back and says "ok for the two I can only give you 40 for them", she doesn't bother looking at what else I brought in and is stuck on the two I politely decline and say Id rather sell them individually since one is priced around $50 dollars and the rare figure going around $200. I was told they were fair on pricing but that really felt like I was judged as soon as I walked in, ignored, and absent in conversation and low balled didn't really sit right. And again after I say I'd rather sell Them some where else individually her response was goodluck again. Don't know if I came in and upset the staff but just felt off and wasn't as excited coming out as I was going in. Real bummer honestly
