Debbie was simply amazing. She didn't make fun of me or make me feel terrible for waiting over a year for a haircut, she really took the time to ask me ALL about my hair - how I wear it, what I like/dislike about it, what I feel comfortable doing with it, etc and she made suggestions to get my hair where I want it to be. She also didn't yell at me for attempting to cut myself - something that a lot of hairdressers have done! Debbie explained everything that she was doing so I would be able to do it myself when I got home (and guess what! I did this morning and it still looks great!). The best part is that she suggested products for me to use and then explained to me how to use them and what they do, but didn't pressure me into buying them there. The salon was very warm and has a great vibe because it used to be an old factory building, awesome layout the other stylists who were there spoke to me as well and were very personable and friendly. I have been going to Legends for my whole life and I love it there. I see Santo and Nicole, depending on who is free for my convenience, and I absolutely love both of them! I recently wanted something different with my hair so I thought adding highlight would be a great idea. For this, I went to Nicole and I couldn't be happier with the results. I am absolutely In love with my hair! I have VERY thick hair and my appointment always take drastically longer than others and she did not rush me at all. I was taken care of the whole time by Nicole and checked on frequently. I have very dark brown hair so I was a little nervous but the color of the highlights blend in so beautifully with my hair color. Whether I wear my hair straight or curly the high lights look incredible! I recommend Legends to anyone looking for a hair salon! Wow, I'm so amazed at how beautiful this salon is! The ambience as soon as I walk in is incredible, I've been to many salons throughout the years but none compared to this one. I went to get a facial twice thus far and honestly snoozed while being serviced and I believe I started snoring (embarrassing) lol but I knew I was in good hands and they made me feel so comfortable! As I was waiting for my girlfriend getting her hair done, seeing the women talk to their stylists and how their confidence oozed out when they were ready to walk out into the world was nice to see. I am VERYYYY big on customer service so it's important to me seeing everyone with smiles on their faces when they come in and leave out! Yesterday was my first time at this Salon. I went in for a haircut and manicure. The entire building is absolutely gorgeous; beautifully designed and decorated, bright and spacious Salon area and the Spa upstairs was even more impressive. I could tell they put a lot of care into creating the perfect environment to be pampered in, and the effort paid off. Every staff member that I spoke to was friendly and professional. Janice was my beautician, she did my haircut perfectly and then took me up to the Spa for my manicure. I spent a few hours there and we had great conversation the entire time. She was very personable and down to earth, also very skilled in her profession. Returning this afternoon for a pedicure. I definitely recommend this Salon! read more

I have been a client at Legends Salon & Spa for over 10+ years and I'm a huge fan! Every employee at Legends is a professional and they are always friendly and welcoming. I'm also a huge fan of Maria's gift shop. I have always found unique gifts for friends and family of all ages. Great scarves, clothing and I could spend hours looking at the beautiful jewelry. A must see any time you are in the Flemington area. I recently had my hair cut and colored by Stacey. She was knowledgeable, friendly and so accommodating. I have been going to this salon for a few years now and am always incredibly happy with my results. I get a full color done every time I come- santo (the owner) will modify the color on request due to the season which is a nice extra touch I love. Sandy is also a wonderful stylist and I always request whichever one is free when I have to go in. The first time I got a color treatment, I was unhappy with the result and sandy made adjustments on the spot to make sure I had what I wanted. Legends has been the spot for me for my hair about two years now! I make my appointments with Debbie, but I truly believe everyone there is extremely capable, helpful, and kind. I never, ever walk out disappointed by the physical or customer service because Debbie takes the time to consult with me and makes sure we are on the same page. Great place! Everyone is super friendly and make you feel very comfortable. (I've tried posting reviews before but I noticed yelp randomly deletes them and I want to give credit to the salon because it's much deserved!) Santo is truly an artist. I went from a brunette (with much color still in my hair) to bleach blonde without it being dead or dry. Came in for a cut and partial highlight and left feeling like a million bucks. My stylist was great (can't remember her name but she has long blonde hair) and suggested a couple different cuts and tones for my hair. I have fairly long hair and she was very cautious about cutting length and asked me beforehand if what she was about to cut was okay, which I appreciated.
